Ever since Thai Palace closed since years back, Ive been looking for a good, local Thai food diner for the occasional carryout fix. Lue Thai fits the bill. I wont confess to being very adventurous when it comes to Thai cuisine, but I could eat Pad Thai every other day, and theirs is delicious. Sadly, Im not so young anymore, and cant handle the hottest spice levels that I would prefer in my Pad Thai, but their medium level I think is perfect for the average diner. The portions are generous, and they dont skimp on the proteins. Chicken Pad Thai is LOADED with chicken. One order is easily enough for dinner and lunch the next day. On occasion, Ill also get the Pad See Ew, which is a wide noodle with a savory dark soy sauce thats kind of tangy and a bit sweet, stir fried with egg and broccoli. The sauce can be pretty salty, but its generally really good. The broccoli is always perfectly firm and never mushy. One slight disappointment Ill note is Chicken Satay. While the flavors are great, and the peanut and cucumber sauces that are included are also good, everytime Ive ordered it, it seems the chicken is a always a bit overcooked, and not as juicy as it should be. Staff is really friendly and pleasant, and the restaurant clean and comfortable. Parking is a bit of a chore because its in West Dearborn, but do yourself a favor and dont drive around looking for a spot. Park in the structure around the corner. Its free and really close to the restaurant. Youll save time and aggravation.

The presentation of the food is something that other places forget. This place has great presentation. The food looks like a work of art. The people at the restaurant are treat you like you are their best and only customer. You are properly greeted and seated. The restaurant has a good atmosphere you feel like you should be spending more money to eat there. There food has a good blend of flavors that hits my taste buds in all the right ways. The portion size are good for what you are paying for. This is a place that I have brought friends and family, and they have all enjoyed their meals. My favorite dish is the " Pad Prik, with chicken".

Its not what I was expecting the sesame chicken sauce which was very liquidy and runny when I received the containers I was baffled by the size content in which I paid close to 30 bucks after tip on a carry out . Im not some horrible food critic but being a grandson of a colonel and a son of a ret E 9 army and the fact Ive lived all over the u.s and abroad Id say as a food consumer that will be my last time as a first timer visiting there it just simply did not meet my expectations. Sauce should be a little thicker not something out of a ready mix box with water

I had pretty base expectations of this place but it blew me away with how BAD the food was. I ordered fish pad ped(which costs $13) and was extremely disappointed. The fish was overcooked to the point that it was hard and chewy. I think this was an attemot to cover up the fact that the fish was not fresh. Fresh fish does not taste like ammonia. On top of that the portions are unreasonably small for the price. It lacked flavor (except for the aged fish flavor) and was prepared poorly. I will not be returning here next time im craving Thai food.

I previously wrote a 5 star review for this restaurant. If you visit in the restaurant things will be correct, good food, BUT this is the 3rd time ordering take out that they cant figure out to put a side of rice in the bag with Pad Ped (its a vegetable curry dish served over rice) Good food, BUT the lack of attention to details is going to cost this small restaurant business.....I think this will be a dine in restuarant only for us....I think its time to find a new thai restaurant for takeout.......

This place is brand new but off to a great start! I had the Pad Thai and Spicy Squid appetizer, and both were fantastic. It is a more intimate cafe setting, not a big restaurant, and you do not feel like they are rushing you to finish so they can get the next customer in. Great place to come have a relaxed lunch and really good food! Large portions, fair prices, great food, nice presentation...and really nice people working there. Ill be back!!

Good food. Good service. Was here for a week day lunch. We Ordered the simple stuff. Vegetarian curry and chicken fried rise. The complementary shrimp chips was awesome. The fact that they had option of vegetarian or chicken soup was amazing. Generally I dont get a soup. The vegetarian curry - perfect, just what I thought it would be. The chicken fried rice- was above average. Was little bit to the blander side.

Honestly this place is great!!! Very clean since the moment you enter and all the way to the restroom...., great decorations as well.., and when it comes to the dining experience, wow, awesome portions and flavors, this was our first time and definitely not the last.. Our dinner was the lettuce wrap (app) the von Sen w/bf and the Thai peanut w/shrimp and of course Thai tea

Really good food, love the spring rolls.I love Thai food and Always went to Bangkok 96 and was moderately satisfied, my favorite place had to be a place in canton called Thai bistro, but I think I have a new fav, lue thai. Great coconut and curry dishes, also the fried rice is great, and there orange and sesame chicken is awesomeness on a plate. Nice peeps too. Give them try.

Those of you who think this is good or even average Thai food - have you ever tried good Thai food? I can only say the answer must be no. I love having this place close to me but it is truly bad Thai food. Bland, overly sweet, bad soups, oily etc etc. I want to like it but have tried 5-6 times with the standards and all of them were very poor.

I have been here today and I loved the food and their service evrything was splendid, being a new restraunt I would like to rate this. The is not that expensive it would cost you around 10$. They have been here for just a week and I am pretty sure that they will have a great response from the food loving people in Dearborn.

My partner and I came here while apartment searching in the area. We had different peanut entrees with a sample appetizer platter. The food was okay- not my favorite-tasting Thai food, but enough to make several meals per portion! The staff were all very kind, and I would return for the great service.

The chicken pad pak was fantastic. I got medium spice, and I could definitely taste it. It cleared out my sinuses beautifully, but it wasnt excessive. The soup was not too exciting. The portions are a bit smaller than other Thai places, but the prices reflect this so its reasonable.

This restaurant has gotten better since its opening, and several of the curries and soups I have ordered have been really good. I am just a bit frustrated with consistency. I really wanted to stop in for the special soup on a recent cold, rainy day, but I will wait before I try it again.
