I was looking for a new place near my work to have lunch and I found this place. The website says its run by 2 sisters so I though that that means they must cook it themselves. I found out its not a "restaurant," its actually a cafeteria style cafe in the Galeria 100 office building. Dont let that scare you off!!! Park in the lot directly east of the movie theater and go in the first floor door. I had the "Blue Plate" daily special which was a rigatoni pasta with cheese and lots of good chicken. It was perfectly seasoned with a little bit of heat. Definately not cafeteria food, very home-cookin. My friend had the chicken bacon grinder. It looked amazing. Lots of real chicken breast and bacon on a ciabatta type bun. Kind of looked like a cuban sandwich. I was very impressed and the prices there cant be beat. There regular sandwiches were about $4 and their soups about $3. My lunch was $5.75. Ill be going there whenever I dont bring my own lunch. PS the cookies were very moist, big and delicious. I highly recommend.

This is kind of a biased review, since this cafeteria is in the same building I work at. BUT, nevertheless, this place is incredible. Theyll make anything you ask them(very talented cooks in their kitchen) and the prices are very convinient. Craving a char-broiled burger? Ask them to cook you a cheeseburger when you get up to order; it doesnt even have to be on the menu. And if it strikes your fancy, try the Turkey Burger. Or if youre on a diet, eat from their salad nar/

The owner is very very rude. I purchased some food that I did not receive and she made it seem like I was being inconsiderate for asking for $2 back. Laurel is great but I havent been there in a year and I walk past there 5 days a week.
