My family and I have been to R Diner more than a few times, and every time we go, it seems to increasingly disappoint us. The service lately has been spotty at best. When we go there, the servers are either in the back talking with each other and on their phones, or theyre slammed and extremely scatter brained. Weve had orders not put in, items weve ordered coming out extremely late (my wife ordered a coffee that she finally got at the end of her breakfast) and orders completely butchered by the server and then blamed on the kitchen staff. R Diner has a great environment and vibe, but the service has driven us away, at least temporarily. Hopefully they get the service back to what it was when they opened, then well be regulars like we used to be.

I thought I found a place where I could get fast friendly service. I just placed an order over the phone for delivery and the person taking the order , Alley, was abrupt, inattentive, and just rude. She made me feel like I was bothering her for ordering. Im very weary of the food I will be getting. At this point, Im not sure if I even want it. R Diner... Work on your customer service skills because I hate feeling like I unconvinced you by placing an order.

Meals were well portioned in size. Great value for your money. I loved the oasis platter. There were many dessert choices that were unique and several standards with a delightful twist. I wish I lived closer as they also cater. Very clean and pleasent retro establishment. Our waitress was amazing and let us lack for nothing. All staff we spoke to were friendly and welcoming. If I am back in Monroe, Michigan I will look them up again. At true diner treasure!

The food was really good, Nice clean dining area. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for good "diner" style food. I got the Turkey dinner, which was really good. While the rest of my party got a grilled chicken sandwich, chef salad and their chicken noodle soup. Everyone was very pleased with how the food looked and tasted. If you are in monroe area and are looking for Good food at a very reasonable price then R DINER is your place.

I went for the gluten free menu just to find out that they changed their menu a few weeks prior. However, they still have gluten free bread, so I got the veggie omelet and they made me gluten free french toast instead of pancakes. Delicious, the omelet was so full and the french toast was flavorful and crispy, I ended up taking half my breakfast home. I would definitely recommend R diner to anyone and will be coming back

Great food at great prices. I seriously love the thick slices of toast that I get with my omelettes. The waitresses are phenomenal, especially Ms. Colleen. I live in Keego Harbor and its the only place I eat at when I am in Monroe. I definitely recommend this place to any and everyone looking for great food with great service.

Modern and very clean and neat diner. Staff is friendly. Dishes are prepared with a more upscale twist. I had the veggie omelet with hashbrowns. and it was excellent. Light, thin fluffy eggs with quality moz cheese and fresh crispy veggies with crispy but soft on the inside hash browns. Very impressed with the chef.

I went to this place as I was passing through Michigan & it was the best decision I made. We went for dinner then came back for breakfast. I had the caramel apple waffle & it was amazing. I also spoke to the owner & he was very pleasant. Please open another location in Columbus, Oh, you wont regret it!!!

Yesterday my two friends & I went to the R diner for the first time. I had a western omelette with potato cakes & rye bread. It was so delicious, we invited our bible study group friends to come today. Were all from the downriver area.

They have the best chicken fried chicken breast in the area, and I love the Polish plate. Atmosphere is family friendly, and they use local bakery for desserts. Love coming in here for good food.
