I have never felt so embarrassed in my life let alone been asked to leave a restaraunt. A few weeks ago on a Friday Night my fiancé and I and our friends went out on the town, around 12:30-1 we all decided we wanted to grab a bite to eat so we decided on going to the grille. Let me just say this if your expecting a refill on your drink dont.. because you wont be getting one, and if you ask for anything extra (like ketchup) they look at you like your stupid. I ordered a hot dog because I wasnt that hungry and the bread was so hard that I could not eat it. Service and food was awful. Me and my fiancé are checking out and walking out the door while our friends behind us are paying, we are waiting on them when the cashier asks to see their ID since they are paying with a card, our friend kindly says you dont have to see it since I am paying as a debit card. And the next thing we here is you dont have to be a f***** d!ck. Wow. I literally am speechless at this point, I dont know what happened after that because me and my fiancé walked out. The next night after the game a different set of our friends wanted to go out because they had never been to Athens before, so around 1:00 one of our friends needs to get food in his system to get sobered up so here we go off to the grille we walk in and say we needed a table for four and they say are you sure yall will wont be obnoxious? I am literally about to go off right now no one is being obnoxious we are holding our friend up because he is about to pass out drunk, we sit down and his girlfriend takes him to the bathroom and while they are gone the same girl who called our friend a f***** d!ck tells us we have to leave because our friend is stumbling to the bathroom.. I was in utter shock, me and my fiancé got up and left and waited for them to leave. I pray that this place goes out of business because you dont treat customers that way. I NEVER leave reviews of places, but this place called for one. Heres the thing if your the only place open in downtown Athens(open 24hours) and serve alcohol I dont understand why you would tell someone trying to get sober to leave, especially if they are not causing ruckus, she just remembered us from our company the night before. We will NEVER be back and I promise I let all of our friends who are fans of Athens know what a hell hole this place is and they said they wont be back and they thought the food was disgusting anyways This used to be a good place too thats the sad part.

I have actually had to cool myself down for two days to even write this review. Never in my life have I been treated with such disrespect. Myself & a coworker were in Athens for business. We went to the diner for a late night snack before calling it a night. We sat down and I ordered a patty melt. When the food came out, the waiter, Shannon (who apparently is on parole as he told us later) brought me a hamburger. I politely told him that I ordered a d patty melt asked if he could take the hamburger back and correct my order. The waiter rudely told me that I didnt order a patty melt, that I ordered a hamburger. Well I obviously didnt order that so I asked for the manager. The manager, Devin, told me that I had to eat the hamburger or pay for it and leave. I refused to do either, its not my fault the waiter got my order wrong. I explained to the manager that Im not an unruly college kid, but a business professional. He continued to argue with me and refused to correct my order or comp my bill. At this point I was highly irritated as he was being incredibly rude to me. After refusing to pay for the wrong order again, he told the cashier to "Call the Cops." Well, the cops came, and I apologized that they got called off of their incredibly important job to deal with a $4.49 issue. They understood and said that the manager was used to dealing with drunk college kids, and advised I just pay and leave, ,so I did. The next day I check my account and find out that they charged me $26 and made up that I bought a Roast Beef Sandwich, Mozzarella stickk, and 2 orders of feta fries. I NEVER ORDERED ANY OF THAT. This restaurant has committed fraud by overcharging my account. The manager I spoke to about this, Ben, was incredibly understanding and is trying to work this out. If something doesnt happen I will get a lawyer involved for Harassment and Fraud. Please do yourself a favor and do not go to this horrible excuse of an establishment.

Wow. I NEVER had received this much HORRBLE service ever before. I work in a restaurant right now so I know how it is when a restaurant is slow. I was with a big group, however, we waited about 45 min for the food when EVERY OTHER TABLE EXCEPT OURS had their foods out already and when we asked, she said "i dont know". we asked is it going to be out within 5 min. she said "Im not sure about that" and THAT IS IT. nothing like im sorry its late or anything like i will check on your food. we waited 10 more min. and when we decided to just leave, since only one table other than ours was left (eating) ESPECIALLY when at least 3 tables came AFTER US. when we left the restaurant, the manager came out to CALL A COP. and said they will going to file us to go to a court. THE HELL OKAY GO FOR IT. we waited over an hour and a half talking to the cop. and the manager said that we were leaving without paying WHEN WE SAID we are willing to pay only if they atleast let us know about the STATUS about the food, not an attitude to a customer. and well, they never filed us and other manager came to tell us sorry FINALLY and wanted to get it over with instead of going to the court. so I am here to tell you guys that DONT EVER GO TO THIS RESTAURANT UNLESS YOU ARE WHITE AND WHEN THEY ARE NOT BUSY. why did I say white? because after reading other reviews about being late and bad services, they never called a cop. but BECAUSE our groups were a different race (asians) I guess they thought we would be SCARED. I am never going to a place that cannot even control their managers and workers. I dont know how they were raised to become like that but PLEASE HAVE A RESPECT AND LET CUSTOMERS KNOW ABOUT THER FOOD. thats what I and other workers even the owner does at my restaurant.

First off VERY FILTHY bathrooms and hallways. When the places you can go in a restaurant are so dirty, imagine what the areas you cant go look like. Me and my family cant tell you what the food tasted like since we never got any. We were sat promptly and our order taken. We got our drinks, but the food never came. SIMPLE BREAKFAST FOOD or BURGERS was all we ordered. Nothing fancy and no special requests. After waiting 40 MINUTES we had to flag down the waitress, she went back (after taking another tables order next to us) and asked and when she finally came back (after stopping off to take more orders at other tables rather than complete ours) she said 15 more minutes. Hell, that means they were just starting it, 15 minutes for eggs and cheeseburgers? That is how long it should have taken 40 minutes ago! Anyway, paid for our drinks and went to 5 guys and were eating in 10 minutes, instead of still waiting at this filthy dump. My daughter is in the service industry, so we always over tip good service and understand that nothing always goes perfect, heck some days is goes really bad, but thats life and we do not sweat it. But a waitress that ignores you, and then when she realizes (we told her directly) that we had waited 40 minutes and still no food, stops and waits on new tables rather than going back and checking on your food. Then going to other tables before coming back and letting you know the status, is the epitome of rude and thoughtless. But in the end, we had fun as a family a now know to avoid this place. The health inspectors must not eat here either or it would be cleaner or shut down. If no stars was an option, I would have gone there except we liked their Coca Cola motif.
