Skip this place and go somewhere else. Seriously. I grew up in the south, but never really remembered anything special about Popeyes. I guess since they were everywhere, they were just another chicken joint to me. Since this is in the north, and I havent seen or been to one in a long, long time, I was somewhat excited to see it come to town. I wondered if it would leave me as fulfilled as the places I remembered from childhood. Sadly, it didnt. Ive been there a few times to see if it ever got any better and it just never has. The food is drastically overpriced, and the portions and sizes of the pieces of the chicken are the smallest I think Ive ever seen anywhere. The taste of the chicken or any of the sides weve tried have not been anything special at all. The staff has been disinterested and barely seems to be able to figure out how anything works, or even care. I dont remember other Popeyes places being this bad, but like I said, I havent been to one in a long, long time. Totally not impressed with this one, and since Ive given them several tries to be better with no results, I dont think Ill be going back. My daughters, who are 11 and 13 at this writing, werent real impressed either.

Mediocre food, long wait times, inconsiderate staff. This is the only restaurant Ive witnessed that you MUST show an ID to receive your order when paying with a card. Doesnt matter if its $2 or $50. Doesnt matter if your card is signed on the back, you still need to show your ID. Dont have an ID? You wont be getting your food. Staff is rude, slow, and unapologetic. Want to bring your spouses card to pay for your order, nope, sorry, not getting your food. It is not the restaurants responsibility to be identity fraud police. If I hand you a valid credit card, with my valid signature as required by my contract with my credit card provider, that is my identification. Not everyone is comfortable with not only handing over a credit card number, but now you know an address, drivers license number, etc. I respect my privacy more than eating at a mediocre chicken chain. Shady practice that isnt required by law. What is the point of signing your cards?

First off! Who ever thinks this food is beyond decent is crazy. My girlfriend and I spent over 20 dollars on chicken strips, shrimp and fish. To my surprise it tasted bland and boring. The fish was some pre made bullsh*t that mostly consisted of batter and the chicken I got seemed like it was made of chicken SKIN!! I mean the chicken was like chewing on tendons. The shrimp was OK at best. The sides.... if you like soggy fries or funky mashed potatoes this might be your place. The quality isnt there for the money period! Now... lets talk about that A+ customer service. NOT!! I ended up going into the restaurant because my order was wrong... Im up front waiting to speak to someone but they were too busy arguing with each other on how to do their job to bother acknowledging me. Guess Ill stick with going to Lees when I get hungry for chicken.

Went for a second time, because the first time going it was right after they opened. Did not have great first experience so gave it a second chances after being open and running smooth for a while. Dissatisfied to say the least. They do not offer any advertised specials. The cashier looked pasted us while talking with us, was rude, and the place was filthy. We cleaned our own table because there was not a single clean table open. And sat and waited a while. When the food was finally ready, I probably got 50% and 50% fried batter. Hopefully corporate will do a review after a few months of being open and things might get corrected.

Always rude customer service. Short snappy just rude. Devin the guy at the window needs a attitude check. Rushed us when we were ordering. Then we asked for a large drink and he replyed that comes with a medium. Seriously i know i asked for a large for a reason. Just always terrible service. The only reason i stop here is because of your food. I think ill start going to another location. Tired of the rudeness........ Now i have to sit in the drive thru. Cuz the screwed my order up. And the manager came to the window and was ruder cuz THEY messed up. Seriously worst experence ever. I will never come back! To bad.. sh** hole

Always slow. The staff is always rude. People dont speak up, look at you or make eye contact. No sense of urgency, they act like they could care less about your order being correct, when you get your food, or if you got good service. Always messing up my order. The food is so good, but its not worth the wait OR the rude staff. If you like fast, friendly service, dont go here. I have tried to give them multiple chances, but I am always disappointed. If you want to give it a try, DONT go through drive thru. They are so slow. Its easier to go instead. Be clear on what you want and check your order.

OMG this place is HORRIFIC. Ordered 12 piece and charged for it but only got 10 pieces keep in mind I live 20 minutes away I didnt think I had to count my pieces before I left. And 5 of the pieces I got were wings are you Serious. Then I called and the manager Darius was Horrible he passed me on to someone else and didnt even tell me he was doing that then Sandra an employee says she cant even tell me when the general manager David comes in. So I left my number for him to call me back"not holding my breath " HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE place.

I finally made it to Popeyes to have some their wonderful chicken, so I thought!!! I dont know about any of you but I sure in the hell get tired of hearing Im sorry for the wait from businesses. If they would employ the right amount of employees they wouldnt have to keep apologizing!!! To wait for a total of 11 minutes when I was the first in line is unacceptable I wont return to Popeyes in Kalamazoo or Battle Creek since it is the same owner and what a shame that Popeyes let the restaurants be run like this

I have never been asked for MY ID when ordering from a fast food joint in my life! They asked for my ID for a $4.89 order! Of course it was bad timing and I did not have it on me at the moment as I had left it at home. To say the least they would not let me get my food and I left. Also their food is OVERPRICED!!! RIP OFF! I was only going to get 3 chicken tenders for $4.89 and if I wanted a side and a biscuit I could pay $8....I will pass. I cant tell you if their food was any good because I never got any!

Was EXTREMELY disappointed by my 1st visit to this Popeyes. I ordered a small Cajun rice and a spicy chicken breast. They were awful. The rice was pasty and bland. The chicken breast didnt even look like a chicken breast and it was mostly batter, very little meat. Popeyes used to be my favorite treat for myself because they are pretty pricey but I wont be returning to this one.
