The mens bathroom did not work and my husband used the womens and there was no running water to wash hands with. When we finally was waited on. They were out of the first side we asked for then the second when we finally guessed which side they actually had it was the slaw and it tasted like mouth wash was in it. Our ticket was printed wrong so it caused confusion as to how our order was to be then half our order was made then left on the table a total of three times and was given to other customers who had ordered after us and then even came back because their order was wrong was given their correct order as we still waited for our order. I got the managers attention and she said that our order wasnt made because it was not on the slip holder. It was not put back up there because the lady filling orders was playing around. All the crew except two was playing around it was like a side show at a circus.

Despite what Google Maps says, the Popeyes on Division is OPEN. They built a brand-new (and super clean) restaurant next to where the old one was. The fried chicken is amazing, both the boneless and the bonified; the sides are great (I like the jambalaya and the Cajun rice best), and those buttery biscuits - all blow KFC away. Oh, and in true New Orleans style, you always get a lagniappe when you order (an extra, free piece of chicken or two. I once ordered a 3-piece tender and got 7 pieces!). The new place is clean and has one of those freestyle Coke machines. The staff were very friendly (they seemed younger, but better-trained than at the old place). The last two times, I got my order pretty quickly, even though they were packed.

You never get a correct order. Sometimes you order a 3 piece, and you get 5. Sometimes you order a 5pc and you get 3. Never ever get what you ask. Want and ask for BBQ sauce? Honey? Spork? You will never get it totally right. So order small and hope they give you more. They sometimes have you run your card thru the "Owners" phone. I bet the manager is skimming. And no receipt usually when it happens. Its in a tough part of town, and the employees are not the smartest. Or nicest. Some you would think are gang afilliated with all the ink and attitude you get. If youre white, you will feel unwelcome. The young girl in drive thru will say thanks, but anyone else, ha, no. But its what I do to get spicy chicken.

I just left Popeyes on Division in Grand Rapids, Michigan and the person who took my order had a hard time understanding me and when I went to the window the workers were laughing at me. I apologized for the misunderstanding and and told them what I had said. I paid for my food and when I got home I found that they purposely sabatoged my order. In fact when I called the manager she knew who I was and said that she heard the workers talking about what I ordered but didnt know the details. So unprofessional, I should write their names because I got them but I wont. Such a shame to mess over my food when Im patronizing your place of employment.

This place has great food.....if your willing to put up with the lack of professionalism! The people are rude as ever and dont look very happy to be working there at all. I have tried to get through on the phone....only to be hung up on after waiting 5 minutes. Our office wanted to order a 25 piece meal but.......they lost our business today to a much more professional company.....even though the food is not as tasty. Plus we are writting a not so favorable review. Get your act together Popeyes. I should not have the same experience each time. Food is great....service STINKS! Not going to go unless our mind is set to deal with such foolishness!

Its alright I went in a day where I ordered the 11 piece special They only gave me 2 drumsticks and a bunch of thighs and Breast, would not have been a problem if I didnt have children 6 and under I needed to feed. They were also out of honey sauce, then my partner who ordered had to order her order on my bill, they dont do 2 separate transactions, she orderd the 3 piece meal and extra side She wanted 2 drumsticks and 1 breast They were going to charge her 40 cent extra for the drumstick. Despite it being a 3 piece meal. Id possibly return though It wasnt a horrible experience, but it could have been better in my opinion.

Very unprofessional staff. I understand people make mistakes and get frustrated...but trying to make a 3 piece order include 2 breasts and a leg was like explaining trigonometry to 4th graders. And, she was very rude and got very arrogant with me because she didnt understand what I was trying to say. After trying to get the manager (who was flirting with a random guy, pretending like she didnt know we were even trying to get her attention) and finally getting her over to help, the order was done. The food was OK. 2 stars is an honest review.

One female manager there who cant speak any english, is the most racist, rude, snobby, mean, nasty , argumenative ,person. She is so unprofessional and cannot keep the store going. Waiting for 45 minutes is average for this place, and then you might get what you ordered. I agree people arent happy who work there or there desperate to hit the crackpipe, bad area, bad service, ignorant management, but good food and its the only one in grand rapids, so we have no choice but to go thru hello and back if we want it

Best chicken anywhere. Other stuff is good, too. Very poorly run location, though. Running credit cards on the owners phones (!), always something wrong with your order (often in your favor). Always a wait. Employees speaking and yelling at each other inappropriately. Occasionally a crazy or homeless person there, chatting up customers (though they do try to handle this). All that said, it is a newer building with contemporary and pleasant styling. Love that chicken from Popeyes!

I am a great fan of Popeyes chicken. My friends have all been amazed at how fast I can get my food from this place. So, Ive heard theyre slow but havent ever seen it. Inside the employees are either polite, which is fine, or regard me with cold indifference, which is my preferred way to be treated by chicken dispensing robots. I guess you could say Im old fashioned that way.

Girl took my order: 8 pc. Mild. Mashed Potatoes. Cajun Fries. Extra Biscuit. Jalapeno Pepper... Took their time making the order.... When it was done, I looked on for 12 mins as my order sat without ever being bagged......... Only to find there was no mashed potatoes or extra biscuit. Im done with Popeyes on 28th & Division, Grand Rapids, Mi.

waited in line for lost 35 min in driving thru. really? order came to almost 40$ for our family and everything was cold and old . even with our receipt they wouldnt replace our order. The staff as well as management were extremely rude. Popeyes is great food but not worth the poor service at his location.

Here every few days and its the same couple situations. Chicken is usually the best around super crunchy but always out of barbequeue sauce without fail every day I get here. Maybe 30% of the time its long waits then get warm/soggy chicken. Was closed almost an hour before its closing time yesterday.
