This was absolutely by FAR the WORST dinner experience that I have EVER had. DO NOT go to Pereddies! While their food was okay, we were treated so horribly, and it was my birthday. My husband and I went in to Pereddies with my 18 month old son for an early 6 pm dinner. We asked to be seated in an area that would not disturb other customers. We brought lots to entertain our son and we were honestly just commenting on how good he had been the entire dinner. We were waiting for our dinners when we were playing with some pipe cleaners, making a crown out of them and placing them on each his head. He was laughing! The hostess came in to seat 3 older people and they immediately looked over at us and said that the table was too small. I knew that they must not like children. The waitress came back in a couple minutes later and told us that our son was being too loud and causing people to leave!!!!! I was astonished! He was not be loud AT ALL! The table of 8 girls 2 behind us was laughing and screaming, we were not loud at all. I politely asked for our food to go, tipped her very poorly and left. Honestly, the food was okay, just okay and I would never ever go somewhere that treats people like that. It was HORRIBLE!

Neighborhood gem. Interesting, engaging all the senses. It fills you up in all the right ways. The food is equally unique and familiar just like its footprint. Each section ties seamlessly together while offering its own contribution making each visit special and personal. Visually stimulating with beautiful art, the sounds of enjoyment buzzing pleasantly in the background while the smells from the kitchen and deli engage your taste buds before the food arrives. A menu filled with the promise of a memorable meal that never disappoints. Creative and delicious food made in a way that makes you feel cared for like both a member of the family and an important visitor. Above all else, the service is amazing. The owner, the servers, the cooks...they want you to know how important you are to them every time you visit. If you only have time for one meal out when you have family or friends visiting, go here. This place is FUN. Discover. Experience. Enjoy. You will already be looking forward to your next visit before you even sit down.

We are visitors to Holland, here for our summer vacation. My best friend and her two children met me and my daughter here for the week, as a half-way point for all of us. We decided on this restaurant after entering "restaurants near me" on Google search. We werent sure what to think of the place when we pulled in, nor when we entered, as the owner also runs a shop and deli inside... HOWEVER, not only was the Caesar salad, freshly-baked salted rosemary rolls, and the portobello mushroom and sausage pasta I ordered the BEST IVE EVER HAD, the waitress and the owner were both the kindest and most accommodating people weve ever had the pleasure of dealing with. My 7yo daughter, a spaghetti connoisseur, raved that the spaghetti was "THE BEST!". The waitress made our kids feel welcomed, respected, and was so helpful to all of us. The owner regaled is with tales of where he was from in Italy, where hes been, and helped us with anything/everything we needed. If I lived here, Id be back often - very often!

I gave a four-star rating based on the food; it was excellent, although overpriced, as several others have mentioned. The service, however, was awful, actually almost non-existent (apparently Saturday lunch does not warrant a full lunch menu, so menu selections were limited). The antipasto was served with no individual plates or a knife for spreading, the flatware was Walmart quality, we had to send up an emergency flare for a return visit from our server who brought coffee without spoon or mention of cream or sugar - evn had to flag her down for a check, which she presented face-up. Prices this high should be supported by an efficient server, even in the off-season.

I have to say that the food was really mediocre. I cant emphasize the blandness enough. I had the carbonara and the sauce was very thin and watery and nearly flavorless. We also got the brie and the crackers it comes with might as well have been cardboard. The server was on the ball though and was at our table a lot to refill drinks and make sure we were taken care of. I have to give a huge props to their service. It does have a good atmosphere with romantic lighting, which was surprising based on the location.

Back when I ate grains, I loved their pesto pasta. But nowadays I go for the meats and cheeses! This evening my husband and I shared the Brie and the Antipasto. I probably wouldnt get the latter again because its very heavy on the veggies and crackers, and very light on the meats and cheeses. The Brie is a pretty small serving as well - its definitely on the pricey size considering the portions. Last time I was here I really enjoyed the Sausage and Fennel, as well!

Were old hands at Pereddies Restaurant and the Scusi Bar - a really great neighborhood hangout. The Scusi Bar has a very nice addition behind the counter with Ashley. Not only does Ashley actually recall what you ordered the last time, but she is so peppy, friendly and customer oriented. What a nice laugh. She is a real find and hope she stays. Come to think about it, the owners should consider varying the happy hour menu from time to time.

Honestly I dont get the ratings ordered a bottle of merlot wine and got Zinfandel, the pollo chicken pasta and it was more like pollo leather straps. Our rolls were brought and immediately the appetizer then 4 secs later our salads, we are not fast eaters by any means and we STILL waited for our over priced, over cooked entrees. By the time our dinner s arrived, I just wanted leave... Boxed it and left I give this place -5 stars .

They have the best Italian food weve found in the area. The atmosphere is also fantastic. Attached is a small market for quality, unique and hard to find cooking and baking ingredients, reminding one of a small Italian market space. Much of the artwork are originals by the owners and theres an adjacent art gallery. If youre looking for a romantic Italian escape for a couple of hours, you cant get any better than Pereddies.

This deli is hometown, Italian style with a restaurant attached. They sell pastries, meats, canned goods, cheese, and other deli staples. I havent tried the restaurant food, but I absolutely love their mozzarella pepperoni rolls--you have to come early in the day to get them, they always sell out!

The food was very good! The place is very nice with the small general store and the Italian decor. The portions were quite small. The service was friendly but slow. It took over an hour to get food. The prices are high for what you got.
