Came here with a group of friends in the afternoon. Ill just get straight to the point: THE FOOD IS WAAAAY OVERPRICED. Most of the entrees are in very small appetizer sized portions for $15? I can understand more if they were extremely tasty and flavorful little bits of food, but they were not. I ordered fish tacos and was served two mini flour tortillas with tiny pieces of fish and a side of wild rice. The fish was not seasoned at all, the salsa on top was too sweet. The rice just looked and tasted like Rice-a-Roni straight out of the box. Just bland and the food wasnt even hot. Also, the wedge of lime served with my meal was totally dried out. Hardly got any juice out of it AND the produce sticker was still on it. Like seriously? In terms of presentation and sanitary purposes, you just dont do that. Like did you guys even wash the lime off? With gratuity, my bill was $19 and all I had to drink was water and no dessert. My stomach was still growling afterward. The waitresses were average at best. They werent bad, just not warm, not friendly. I dont think I saw them smile once. My suggestion if you go here is to order a burger and fries/onion rings. One of my friends ordered that and the portion size was pretty good and she seemed to like it, plus its a bit cheaper. I would have ordered it but I do not eat beef. Will I go back? Eh....probably not.

I had a very unpleasant experience at Franklin Grill. The place wasnt that crowded but the hostess kept walking by us and saying just a second, just a second. The place was clearly under-staffed. After 10 minutes my friend and I decided to walk out despite there being several open tables. The hostess chased us out the door to tell us how rude we were and to scold us for being so impatient. She felt the need to wag her finger in our face and tell us how hard she was working...and that it would just be a minute. Ill never go back.

Strange experiences...I have been to the FG 3 times based on the recommendations of dear friends, but each time has been a growing disappointment. Tonight, the "special 16oz steak" which I ordered medium rare, was 8oz and waaay over cooked. No attempt was made to correct, it was suggested I try another dish. Would like to say you get what you pay for, but we paid a LOT for this inedible meal. Sorry to say, the place has a very nice ambiance and an exceptional bartender, but the food has been underwhelming...especially for the price.

My family and I enjoyed our experience here. We couldnt decide what to eat so we each ordered an item and shared the meals amongst ourselves. Everything was incredible! The staff was friendly and personable, the atmosphere was charmingly rustic. The experience is well worth it!

Great food and atmosphere. Ordered the Reuben and it was delicious, as expected. At $12 I do feel it is a little pricey and the reason why I did not give them 5 stars. Huge patio that more than doubles their capacity. Looking forward to stopping by for some happy hour soon.

The Dinner Specials are wonderful! The new decorations are like being at home. The service staff goes above and beyond to make your dining experience a pleasure. The owner works in the restaurant and is a nice touch to the small town feel of Franklin.

This place is one of The best restaurants in Oakland county! The food is great the staff is superior and in the summertime theres an outdoor patio that rocks! I recommend this place to all the foodies and also people with a great taste for good wine!

Food is overpriced. Hostesses have been just plain rude on more than one occasion. Too bad as I live in Franklin and desperately hoped for a place to go in the Village on a regular basis.
