They have thee worst customer service. I spoke to Julie the manager/owner who told me the customer is always right but they never are. This is after they messed up the order which she told me I as the customer gave wrong. How do you say alfredo with broccoli no chicken wrong and get alfredo with broccoli and chicken???? She said that was my fault as the customer. If that is not enough, she was rude and kept cutting me off when i was speaking, full of excuses about the inabilities of her and her staff, lies by telling me she was the manager then saying owner, and utterly disrespectful. As a restaurant, their food is ok but prices have gone up more then the food is worth. I work for a large company downtown Detroit, this company is know for being late on deliveries. If you are planning an event and need a caterer, you may want to think twice before using this company. When they are late or the order is incorrect or more than they tell you over the phone, you will get excuses, lies, and just a whole lot of mess.

I ordered from this place three times and everytime service was very slow I called my order in and still got there to wait another 20-40 minutes for food which was a simple order. My last visit I waited so long I had to ask for my money back because the girls working at the window was so rude didnt say thank you, sorry for your wait, come again nothing just gave me the food and walked away. The manager was also very rude laughing and joking with the other employees about my refund. I dont think the owner knows how his business is being operated, if he did he would be very disappoint. Food was ok but service and wait time suck.

The food was basic, I ordered 50 wings which were very small, I would give a better rating if there BBQ was consistent the first time was great since then its been very tough, I also ordered a patty melt and that was the reason for my review, it was terrible a chunk of bland ground beef between two pieces of greasy texas toast, it was very bland no seasoning and slightly burnt. I will not be eating here again. I did a split payment half on my card and the rest in cash, then the cashier snatched the money out o my hand.....oO I should have cancelled my order after that smh. my fave place is Rub Pub for BBQ.

I received very poor service at this place recently. My carry out order was incorrect with missing items. When I tried to get them to correct it, the woman at the window insisted she didnt make a mistake and accused me of lying. As a small business, Royal BBQ should make sure that they have quality customer service for their loyal customers and not some angry know-it-all clerk. I usually get good service here, but this was a real disappointment.

2 weeks ago was my first time trying the pizza from the location. Let me say this the taste of the pizza was a very quality standard. It wasnt like some of the name brand pizza chains thats out there and that Over price chain pizza restaurants, for example Buddies Pizza." The slices of pizza does not make you feel like you may have ate way too much and not enough room for more. Excellent pizza and excellent selections.

They are lucky that they are simply 1 out of three places that deliver in Detroit. Worst service, price discretion not in our favor, ALL workers rude on the phone.... 95% of the time when they deliver, many items are missing. GOD FORBID you call them close to closing time, they will tell you to call back tomorrow. Shocked that they have 4 stars. SHOCKED.

Very unprofessional. My place of employment places orders daily they have messed orders up before but they always replace the order not time the employee hung up on my when i called back they left me on hold... Maybe because our order was only $30.00 and not $70.00 like usually.... WE WILL NO LONGER BE ORDERING FROM ROYAL BBQ

Horrible place to dine. All the waitstaff curse and roll their eyes just taking the order. When the order is ready they throw it at you like a dog on the street!!!!! Never will eat here again. EVER!!!!! The Worst customer Service Ever!!!!!!!!!! Cold food!!! Food is slopped in a box half done ugh!!Buy at your Own risk!!!

Delivery guy is rude and should be fired, spent $20 on a burger that was like a hockey puck(Red wings would be happy) with bbq sauce and mac & cheese with no cheese and A LOT of pepper. Place is horrible and not worth a penny.

Portions have gotten smaller...prices have increased. Very large menu option...quality has become inconsistent. As others have indicated customer service is not the greatest...delivery is unpredictable
