DO NOT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS! Went here before a concert a month ago and could not have been more disappointed. Where to start? First, the restrooms were out of commission but we werent told this until after we paid and were sitting down waiting for our food. Second, some patrons brought in a boombox, cranked it up, were talking loud across the restaurant to the people working behind the counter, and then proceeded to start dancing in the restaurant. Third, the substandard food. The wings are ultra tiny, overcooked, and very dry. We couldnt choke down what we bought and threw away at least 1/2 the order. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME COMING HERE. I normally try to include a positive part of the dining experience in a review, but there wasnt one. So disappointed.

They are always running out of food. After being on TV for National Wing Day we decided to go and try City Wings again to see if that issue had changed. It hasnt. If you are going to be on TV you need to figure you might have a bump in business and order more food, instead they ended up closing 2 hours early and I will never try again. The first visit I took my kids and they ran out of all of the sides and only had enough chicken for a small order. The Tery-que wings were good, even though we wanted the garlic parmesan wings my coworker raved about. I may try one more time if I can get there by lunch but I will beware after 5.

We went in December twice and LOVED it! We came back again a few weeks ago and the wings where small and dry. What happened to those big delicious wings? I asked the employees and they said it was a fluke, to come back again. We came back again last week and again we received tiny dry wings. Same price, different wings, these are not the wings we used to love, this wings are unacceptable! I hope City Wings will fix this, otherwise it seems this business will not survive!

My fiance and I were seeing a show at the Fischer down the street and wanted to get a bite before. The gentleman that took our order gave us a quick tour of the menu and brought our food out to the table even though its a pay at the counter style place. Everyone was very polite and the food was fantastic. We got the dinner for 2 and it was lots of food at a reasonable price. Ill be back!

First time going with my cousin. A friend of mine told me that they were already good. I got 15 lemon pepper flavor they were real good. The only issue I have is how small they are. The baked beans taste just like my aunts all the way to the hamburger mixed in, she does the same thing. I enjoyed my first visit there I will be back next trip into town.

I love the flavors of the Chicken. However in the beginning the wings was a nice size and not dry. Now time and time again every time I go back the wings are so small that 10piece is like 2wings. The French Fries are still good and the salads are fresh, but they should give more wings for the same price or get some with some meat.

The flavor was great however the wings were teeny tiny. They were about half the size of average wings. I ordered 15 and they only half filled a small carryout container and cost $12 and change. Great taste but not a good value at all. Counter guy had piss poor customer service skills however the cook was very pleasant.

Youre better off ordering online/over the phone, because the staff wont even acknowledge you so that you may place your order. Hopefully the food makes up for their lack of customer service. Update: The food was amazing. Full sized serving and those baked beans were to die for.

Got the "Double Snack" portion (twenty wings) with hot Buffalo and teriyaki. Theyre on the smaller side, but the chicken is well cooked. Their Buffalo was kind of a clumpy dry rub, and Im more of a wet guy, so I wasnt really a huge fan. Id get the teriyaki again, though.

Black owned, family run business by a local Detroit Firefighter Grant Lancaster. Wings arent fried..soul food sides like macn cheese, green beans, etc. No pork is used to season their food. The sweet potatoe pie will have you fighting whoever tries to share it!

Went to Wing City today and had a great experience, parmesan wings and Cajun wings. These guys have making wings down. I prefer Dry rub and most of their wings are either dry or what could only be called a moist rub what ever you call it they were delicious.

I have been a regular customer since their grand opening. I love the Amish wings and no they are not the plumped up steroid injected wings. I crave the parmeson garlic and the sides are not the best but the restaurant is clean and the atmosphere is friendly.

If you want REAL chicken wings. This is the place. I go at least once a week. not greasy, amish chicken, fried in good oil, with a real rub, not just doused in sauce. Everything here is clean, organic, and downright delicious. Best wings Ive ever had.

Best wings in Detroit by far! The wings are a little smaller than other places but the flavors here blow away everywhere else. Also, the cherry lemonade is simply amazing.
