Best coffee shop I have ever been to. I am from California, and have traveled throughout the United States and Mexico. Wherever I have gone, I have always looked for good coffee shops, because I love the atmosphere of them. I can say with all honesty that Cafe Con Leche is without question the best coffee shop I have ever encountered in all the places I have lived and traveled. The main reason for this is that Cafe Con Leche is about so much more than a cup of coffee. It is a meeting place where people from all over the neighborhood come together, where connections are made, and people of all different backgrounds mingle. It is also a center for the community in that the owner helps local artists, photographers, graphic designers, and others to market their products and get their name out there. And finally it is a place that is open for use for local small concerts, open mic nights, book readings, and other events. I hope the spirit that cafe con leche has started will spread to other coffee shops, so this kind of cafe/community center can be created in other neighborhoods.

This is a new little coffee shop independently run by a recently immigrated Spaniard. The shop is very welcoming and has decent wifi, good coffee and enough electrical outlets for a few laptops. It also has the usual assortment of danishes, muffins and bagels. Newspapers are set out for your perusing pleasure and it is sufficiently close to (now closed) I-75 and I96, as well as the Med School and Dental School. It is in a little plaza on the North side of bagley street. I highly suggest it!

A quiet coffee shop with breakfast sandwiches, snacks, good coffee and friendly service. Theyre almost always not busy here which makes it great for having a business meeting. Breakfast sandwiches are great for what you pay. Well priced, fresh, fast and delicious. I usually get yogurt and granola for breakfast, its delicious here. It always feels as if no one knows about this place yet. Or maybe because of the location. Great spot nevertheless.

Ive been to this place several times throughout the year and they are never open at 8am like they post, which is already late for a coffee shop. In addition to that they are usually out of some ingredients for the sandwiches. Terribly run and organized. The food and coffee are good if you get lucky and theyre actually open and prepared for that day.

When in downtown Detroit this is a must. Even got to talk to roaster while he was toasting up some beans.... (revised) Been the more recently and the service has gone down. No cup holders? And we got last large togo cup? I know syrups are not their thing but to have nothing seems weird. The whole family cant enjoy this place.

This is a great place to chat over delicious coffee in a quiet, relaxed atmosphere. Wi-fi is available and the coffee is sold at a good price. For $3.50 I got tall cup of French Vanilla Cappuccino and some good conversation with friends. Check this place out in Mexicantown right off 75.

I never do reviews, but this place needs to know about the bad service. I paid $7 for a prosciutto sandwich and all I got was a piece of bread with tomatoes and lettuce. Complete rip off. I didnt want to waste my time trying to get my money back.

Our office gets coffee from the cafe every week. They roast curated beans in house and the flavor is irresistible. I also love this location for meetings. Parking is easy and all around, and theres a great conference room and patio too.

They have one of the best coffee in the city. They roasted their own coffee and their expresso it is really good. All the staff are really nice and the owner is always there and if you have any question he will happily answer you.

Had a rosemary and sea salt bagel with lox and cream cheese. To die for! Could only eat half. Should have shared with my daughter. Guess my eyes were bigger than my stomach! Grab a bag of day old bagels for $5 on your way out!

This Cafe is a jewel. Not only is it a comfortable place to sit and study, but the lattes that they make here are AMAZING! So smooth and not over sweetened with flavoring. I will definitely visit again soon!
