Ive been to this Canton Red Olive location MANY times both for take out and dining in and altho the service might be slow, the food is decent, relatively fresh food. Its generally kind of a staple for lunch. Today was SO disappointing! I ordered a small greek salad to go and when I opened it at work to eat it I realize that 50% of the lettuce was wilted and transluscent. Im only 3 minutes from the location so I know that the travel time did not do that to the lettuce. Im on my lunch break so I cannot go back. Ive fished out the best pieces cause a girls gotta eat, but its just a bummer to pay full price and really only get half an edible salad.

Greek Salad and a Gyro Huge salad with all the right ingredients. Unless youre a salad-fiend like me, you could share one of these. Gyro meat was excellent, proper-sized tomato and onion chunks, tasty "Gyro Sauce" (I cant spell sadjiki either). Slightly downgraded for the pita bread; a bit too puffy and tended to come apart while eating the Gyro. I ended up finishing it off with my fork. Be warned: this is a "Pepsi™, Pepsi; no Coke™" place. If Coca-Cola™ is a serious thing for you, a decision will have to be made. At another favorite place, they allow me to bring in a small bottle of Coke. Ill have to try that next time.

This establishment has gone below par since the previous manager Robin left. She was ALWAYS greeting people & chatting with customers...everyone knew her & she remembered you, even if you were only in occaionally. The new owner has absolutely no personality & is super unprofessional, very rude. Its a shame because not only is the food quality great, the waitresses there are extremely professional & personable, tho most of the original wait staff has moved on because on the new owner. I will not be a returning customer to this location.

I would give it five star, but it wasnt quite perfect. I spent more than $70 for dinner of 6 people. 2 adults, and four kids I think it was bad for the price. as for food, I ordered Sirloin Steak and shrimp. I think steaks were done beautifully, I didnt like the shrimp as much, you could tell they werent fresh. kids burgers were a little dry, the spaghetti with meat, need more sauce, and Lamb Shank was a little too salty. Service was prompt, fast, and smiles!! The only reason I am giving them 4 Stars is because its Halal.

I had high hopes for this place as it came recommendes. Their menu is huge with many options to pick from. I got the gyro chicken plate. The chicken was room temperature and was very dried out, there was some kind of sauce on the rice pilaf which reminded me of spaghetti-os and my soup came room temperature with the same taste as the sauce. My husband ordered their stir fry which was a little better than my option.he got a soup with his as well but his was actually cold. Service was slow.

The Red Olive is one of a group of restaurants that go by the name. Its basically your standard Greek/American Diner (Coney Island), with the bonus of a rather large salad section of the menu as well as some original Gyro types. The atmosphere is basic, but you shouldnt come here for that... you come here for a good meal, fast. Ive never had to wait for more than 5 minutes between ordering and getting my grub on.

Our very first visit this chain, had superb service by Megan n Fantastic food. Tried Corned Beef Hash n Eggs, Rosa Italian Soup, Kafta Sandwich and Double Damn Stuffed Gyro. The Lamb Pine nuts topped Hummus a superior chunky blend we so Love and oh yeah the Toum be Garlic spread outrageous delicious.

Great servers and cooks and very good food. Food is more expensive than listed in the menu-I am almost always charged a bit more than advertised but usually am too busy to ask for the correction-no, it isnt the tax either. They are over-charging or need to update their menu.

My husband and I ate here for the first time the Rosa Maria soup was so thick and cold sent it back. My husband ordered a coney and fries the first fry was still frozen the rest were not cook all grease. Well that will be are last visit there.

Gyro very good and not dry at all. Kids pancake was huge. Greek salad very good size as well. Surprised for a Saturday at dinner time there was barely anyone in there?? Also our waitress was not the friendliest. Otherwise not bad at all.

Best greasy spoon type place off Cherry Hill that I have experienced so far. Im comparing this place to M&M and a few other "Coney-style" spots. If I need a quick and easy breakfast or a sandwich, you will find me suggesting this place.
