My girlfriend and I went to Longhorn after a long absence to give it another try as we have both had bad experiences at this location. We were prepared to have a nice night out, but it was anything but. We received our buzzer from the hostess who was very nice and took a seat at the bar for a before dinner drink. From the time the bartender saw we were waiting for a table, she was completely unconcerned with us. My girlfriend requested a second drink after the bartender had already tossed our check face up to us on the bar. She poured the draft and the keg went out. The carbonation splashed some beer on her and she walked out of the bar area complaining loudly that it had splashed on her face. She then comes back plops the beer in front of my girlfriend saying "The keg went out. Well get you another one." Clearly, she does not want a beer that has left our line of sight that might now have something in it. The trainee who was learning was very nice and offered her another type of draft. We paid our tab and went to our table. Our server was very nice and tried very hard. We ordered apps, wine with dinner, a medium rare filet with a "signature side", and a medium rare filet with lobster tail. My steak came out nicely as it was the 7oz. She ordered the 9oz that when it was served to her it had clearly been cut into 2 times during preparation to check the temp which created almost 3 separate steaks. One of which was clearly over cooked being completely grey throughout the section. We sent the steak back to have it corrected. Afterwards, the manager comes back to the table with the steak that had just sent back with it cut open on the opposite side that had not been cut to check temp. Obviously the thickest portion was cooked to the correct temp, but we didnt order half a steak that is cooked properly. When the manager asked what was wrong with the steak, my girlfriend pointed out the cut marks that were cooked through. I could not believe that we were having to explain to a steakhouse manager that yes half of the meat was correctly cooked, but half of it was not. We attempted to pay for our meal that we were now not going to be staying to eat after the treatment we had received. We were informed that there would be no charge. We left the half of the cheese fries that we had already boxed up, a tip for our server that was working hard, and left. We will never be back!!

Hands down one of the very nicest LongHorn Stwakhouses we have been to! Higher ceilings, dining area open to the bar, peaked exposed beams all add to a feeling of open spaciousness that was inviting. The white chocolate turtle cheesecake and the peanut butter jar are worthy dessert choices added to the menu. Will be having those again. Steaks were good as always, but I struggle to find what they need for a wow factor. The finishing butter on one plate was perfectly placed and created a nice glaze over the meat while the other looked to be slapped on and had melted on the plate rather then over the steak. Chopped salads were good, cold, well portioned but a little heavy on dressing for my taste. Next time Ill order the dressing on the side. Service was a definite highlight and I only wish we could remember our servers name as she deserves the shout out. Everything was on time, kept filled, cleared away, etc. without being hovered over. Perfect! Whether you are traveling or live nearby, come check this place out!

when myself and my husband arrived we were seated right away. But we waited for 30 minutes for our server and the restraunt only had about 5 other couples there, so when our server finnally came to see what what we wanted to drink it took another 30 minutes for our cokes. and then when we got the drinks it tasted weird.. We were handed the lunch menu, so we asked about another menu instead of the lunch specials and our server said " I DONT THINK YOU WANT THE DINNER MENU IT COSTS MORE".... What kind of server tells a paying customer that they should order off the lunch menu which did not have much of a selection at all..So we finally ordered our food and my husbands steak was so dry and tasted weird as well as my chicken ... And it took us one hour before we got our food .....WE WILL NEVER GO BACK TO LONGHORNS IN CORNELIA......

Did not get the steak I ordered, ordered it med well and got well done burnt, took 40 minutes to get food, son ordered Mac and cheese and it came out cold in the middle, asked waitress Tracy to fix it and she sent manager, manager did fix it, had to get my steak to go, and sons Mac and cheese was just reheated instead of a new dish, but seen waitress was talking about us to another waiter Chris, I asked him on the way out, he didnt want nothing to do with it, for one dont talk about your customers right in front of them, get their order right, all I wanted was to get what I paid for, Penny made it right but the experience was not good, probably wont go back for a while,

I had to send my steak back TWICE and the 3rd one wasnt worth the wait. Also, I think their prices are WAY too high for the food they serve. The lettuce in my salad was brown around the edges. My sweet potato was burnt. And to top it all off, they told me they would box up the 2nd steak and let me take it home (it was cooked to well instead of med) but when I asked my waitress she said "they took it to the back". Like I know what that means AND I still had to pay for my steak!! Never ever eating there again! :-[

Took my daughter for her birthday and we waited over 20 minutes just for our salads and another 20 minutes after that for our entree. We were not the only ones to complain about our waitress. But I had told her that it was my daughters birthday when we sat down. After figuring out how slow she was I went and told the hostess also. Not one person acknowledge my daughters birthday. I had seen them singing to other customers while we waited and waited for our food so I did expect them to sing to her too.

The worse experience in 30 years of patronage, a T bone and Filet Mignon way rare to the order. They actually took it back and threw them back on the fire and over cooked them. No apology, no manager visit and come time for desert, just a bill and no thanks for visiting. They were no busy at all. Filthy bathroom and pretty much no service. But they could clear empty dishez real well. Wont be back any time soon. Thanks for spoiling a Special occasion dinner. An 88 buck fail.

Went close to closing time with 7 ppl in my party on fathers day. Staff was accommodating, restroom facilities in the mens room needed attention, and without one word of complaining, attention was paid. Mustve been closing duties, or ESP. Laurel was quite chipper, though I suspect she pegged our group for light tipping late comers. But, for her diligence, she was equally compensated above 20%. Great dinner, great fathers day.
