While the food was good, the waiter was horrible. Ive waited tables at 5 different restaurants and in over 30 years Ive left a tip of 10% only twice and this was one of those times. It took over 15 minutes to get bread to the table (and that was after asking for it twice). He never checked back once the food came to see if we liked it. When he came back after the dishes were cleared by the bus person, we told the waiter that a person in our group got veal parmesan (which he thought was just poorly cooked chicken). The waiter responded by saying that he wouldnt up charge for the veal because the veal cost more. (And again, he ordered and WANTED chicken). Finally we order a dessert with 3 coffees. After about 15 minutes without coffee or dessert, he arrives and we ask him for the check telling him to forget the coffee/dessert. How it could possibly take 15 minutes to get a table a cup of coffee is beyond me and I just wanted to get out of there at that point. I brought the check to the bar to take care of it because I knew it would take too long to cash out the check at that point. The bartenders asked who my waiter was, looked at the check, and said "oh..." as if they knew we got the worst server they had. They gave him the bill to take care of, he slapped the bills down on the table. To pay for that kind of service at a restaurant that is NOT cheap INFURIATES me. I know that I wont be back, and thought that if you were planning on having a nice meal with good service, there are plenty of other places to go.

I had a pleasant meal at this location a few weeks prior to this unfortunate visit and was was anxious to return, My son took me to Andiamo to celebrate Mothers Day and my birthday. I was told due to the time of our reservation our meal was going to be in the the basement ( ??? What did I know) and we had 1 1/2 hrs to eat our meal. When arriving, several people were waiting for service and I was told we had to wait at least 20 minutes because people were not leaving. Had I known this was buffet I would not have made the reservation. I will commend the wait staff on a job well done, however, the rest of my meal was unsatisfactory. The serving utensils for the pasta salads were disgusting; asked if they would replace them. I asked if the fruit was going to be refilled; they didnt know; was checking; the vegetables were cold and needed to be replaced; the salmon was dry. We were quite upset with the experience. I have called Andiamo twice to speak to GM - Rocky; to be told a gift card would be sent for complimentary meals; Im still waiting. Needless to say, my Mothers Day and birthday were not a happy occasion!

I had the most wonderful meal yesterday with my daughter. After picking her up from college for the Thanksgiving Holiday break she wanted Italian food not good Italian food but outstanding Italian food. I asked her to pick a place and we’ll stop there before heading home. She picked Andiamo Ristorante in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan on Telegraph Road. I’m so happy she did. She ordered the Pasta Andiamo with homemade Bolognese sauce and three meatballs I had a special order of Shrimp Primavera with pasta. We both enjoyed our meals immensely I was blown away with the presentation and taste; magnifico. I like to especially thank Chef Bill for exceeding my expectations with the heavenly meal and our server Heather for just being the pleasant, charming, pleasing young lady that you are.

I went there the other nite, Because I LOVE rick lieders entertainment I Never get out cause my husband has parkensins, My family was there , we r full of life & fun, Well I had 3 drinks which cost me $14. a peice, They tasted TERRIBLE then the waiter cut us ALL off because, someone at table was rude & she did not need any more alcohol,(1 i was a waitress/bartender at one time, I FELT TERRIBLE when i left there,THE BARTENDERS R the worst i have ever SEEN! people R suppose to enjoy their nite out!!! not get raped! U can mark my words on this I KNOW A LOT OF PEOPLE in this area slso my children R very well known U WILL NOTICE A BIG CHANGE IN YOUR place when i get done, spreading the word also, Rick&Dayna, R the best classiest entertainers around, (I will PY them not to play there !

Our experience left much to be desired. How does this chain survive charging the prices for such mediocre food and service? The service started great, but once we got our meal, service crashed. Once we were done, we stared at our plates for eight minutes until the busboy asked if we needed boxes. Another five minutes passed before our server returned. He knew we were unhappy by that time. The hostess station did not greet us upon entry. We were ignored as we walked out. The salmon salad was drenched in vinigrette, overwhelming the greens. The soup reminded me of Campbells canned vegetable soup. The prices were excessive for the quality.

My wife and I decided to stop there instead of another restaurant we were headed to. Worst tasting food ever. It had no flavor to the dishes. I had veal piccata and she had chicken Marsala. Both dishes tasted the same. Mine had a gravy thickness with a flour flavor and hers tasted like a piece of rubber chicken. Taking price out of the equation I would take Olive Garden over this place, which is sad!!! Oh on top of it our side pasta which was part of the meal came out 10 mins prior to our main dish. We were told this is the norm!

I have never experienced such a lack of hospitality, as i did in my efforts to book a 14 person 90th birthday dinner. after mutiple eforts to reach Ricky, the manager., i got connected to him . All I can say is that, if a tape had been made , it could be used " for training purposes."- how not to trest a potential customer. i was relieved that this experience lead me to discover Beaus Gallery, which is across the street. Tbey are very accomodating , and are fenhancing the fun of planning such a special event.

When we arrived we stated that we hadnt seen each other in a while and wanted to talk. We were interrupted every 5-7 min by either the waitress, water boy, or busboy. The waitress even interrupted us to tell us about herself. Very rude and almost harassing. Prices are too high for what you get. $6 for a small salad with 4 grape tomatoes and garbanzo beans. $6 each for-sauce shared. $38/ filet mignon that they attempted to take away before I finished as I was chewing Unbelievably overbearing and overpriced!!

Came to eat dinner with my son and got sicker then a dog later that night throwing up all night! Service was terrible from the get go and should of walked out right then and there but gave them a chance to see if anything would get better and little did I know I was gonna be sick throwing up with diarrhea! Texting this at 1:45am and cant wait to call management to report this matter as well as reporting this to the Health Department!!! Shame on Andiamos!!!
