Stayed at this hotel this past weekend. I was not impressed with the hotel, it did not live up to my Marriott standards. I arrived at the hotel very late in the evening so I completed the mobile check in with the hopes my key would be ready and I would grab and go. I waited for the attendant who was very nice, he noticed I requested a refrigerator and my room didnt have one so he changed my room. He even offered to find a carryout restaurant that was still open after midnight as we were hungry. When I got to my floor I noticed the décor was very dated and the room was dated as well. We had a few maintenance issues the TV didnt work, the next day we called maintenance and he came right up. The exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work, the phone didnt work the receiver kept getting stuck so I wasnt able to dial out. When calling the front desk there were several times my call went unanswered. I wasnt able to verify check out times because no one was available to answer the phones. The only microwave was in the front lobby and when checking out there were no luggage carriers available to check out. I was very disappointed in my choice of hotels. I did notice a sign in the halls about renovations but not sure of the timeline for that.

Nice location, good staff and fairly decent amenities: pool, fitness center, ample parking, Wi-Fi AND the latest TV boosters, if you will, that allows access to Netflix, among others apps, without having to bring you own equipment (nice surprise!) within the standard king room with all the usual accoutrements. Bed was just a bit to soft and old style for my tastes, but it served the purpose.- Sadly, although its not the hotels fault, there are also some unseemly elements that also stay here. It sad when you return from a party; are greeted upon entering with a smile from the desk staff only to ride the elevator to your floor and BOOM! Marijuana. Right in your face. Throughout the floor. That is incredibly sad and very disrespectful to the other guests. Luckily, the check-in staff promptly and courteously moved us to another floor and all has been well since. Im finding more and more that even at a Marriott (only certain locations) you cannot get away from the trash and their actions at certain locations throughout the country. Its too bad, since it brings down the reputation of the hotel and I promise we wont be staying here again.

for a marriott hotel, this place is pretty bad. no concierge lounge for the two days that we were there - oh, they will reopen it the evening after we check out. the rooms are smaller that most domestic mariott hotels and rather rundown too. the lobby is torn up for renovation so is cramped and closed off with unfinished drywall. the staff are real drones going through the motions with no attempt to be helpful or welcoming. if you do make the mistake of booking a room here, be sure not to accept a room on the front of the property - the windows are not soundproofed at all and the traffic noise from the two highways that merge in front of the facility can be distracting, especially when a particularly noisy truck rolls past.

The stay was fine.. however I was there for 6 days and upon check out I was asking if my discount could be applied and if my rewards number could be added to my stay. She took my info re: my rewards and said she applied it. She did NOT. Then regarding my discount, without even inquiring about it - said I had the best rate already. She just came across as if she did not want to help. The look on her face told it all, so I just walked away & decided to handle through corporate. Its unfortunate that even though I stayed there in March, its May and I still have to follow up.

Came to this hotel for my husbands birthday. We are from northern michigan and needed a change of scenery so we went south. We had one of the best experiences in this hotel. The front desk staff, maids and the servers were more than polite and eager to help in anyway. If we go down south again, this is the hotel we will stay at. The rooms were a great size and clean. The breakfast buffet in the morning was fantastic and a nice change from the regular coffee and doughnuts most hotels offer. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel.

My experience here was great. We hosted our family reunion at this hotel and the staff was phenomenal. What a team! There were several family reunions going on at the hotel and the staff treated us very professional meeting all our needs. Barbara at the front desk was always pleasant greating us with a very pleasant smile and a can do attitude. The dining staff Dan, Abu, and Tyre, overwhelmed with hungry people met our individual needs even when the place was packed. What a great staff!

Room was not very clean and was missing bath towels, which they never brought to the room after calling down and asking for some. I ended up grabbing a bunch of hand towels from an unmanned cart in the hall as a last resort. No rooms available in this large hotel for early check-in and then later I could not extend check-out by a single hour. Woken up early by room service that I never ordered. Next time Im staying at the Courtyard across the street.

The workout room is awesome (personal TV and headphones on every machine), and the staff is experienced and accomodating. They know how to help you without getting in your way. Everything is clean, comfortable, reasonably priced...I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a few months stay. After that, the food options would probably get to you. Theres not much around the hotel, and the lounge food is about average.

I rent a hotel to get a good nights sleep I was robbed of that this evening. Bed felt as if a Wrecking Ball in the middle of bed prior to me laying down. The paper thin concave mattress ruined my night sleep. They put the money in time into the lobby area for the introduction to get the patrons in. But unfortunately once you get in you find issues that I found and because of these issues I will never return...

this hotel is horrible they gave us nothing but trouble while trying to check in the receptionist was rude and over charged my card twice and then we were put out after two hours of being there when security started their shift and when called to speak to the manager the next morning we kept getting hung up on lied and said we trashed the room and couldnt get our deposit back i will never go back to this hotel.
