I have been going to this location since I was a kid in the 90s and the service is at an all time low. Walked in at 6:20pm had to wait for service just to get water. We we put our order in around 6:45 for omelettes and a side of 59 cent pancakes. The waitress didnt come back to our table until we finally were able to get her attention around 7:10 to get more water. The waitress finally brought over 2 short stakes of pancakes but no omelettes. Just before 7:20 the manager came over to tell us they dont have our ticket and dont know what we ordered. I told them not to worry about it... We finished our 59 cent pancakes I placed two dollars on the table and we left. I really use to like this place but there are clearly some staffing and management issues.

So, apparently I work there. One of the waitresses came up with freshly filled syrup bottles and asked me to move the other bottles out of the way without even so much of a please... "can you move those?" Then when I wasnt able to move them fast enough, she placed the bottles on the table and said "here, you can just put them there on your own time?" ARE YOU KIDDING ME!? Listen, I have no problem with helping out, but dont you dare be rude about it. Im paying YOU for a service, not so I can do YOUR job. On top of it, this place was not the most appealing in appearance. Torn booth seats, dirty silverware, burnt coffee, among many other things. Just dont even bother with this place.

It was great until I go to check out and ask for my military discount. (They offer one) I left my military ID at home by mistake but happened to be wearing my boot camp shirt WITH MY NAME ON THE BACK. Manager was rude and dismissive when asked if he would still honor it rolled his eyes and walked away. Was a 10% discount off a $16 bill worth losing customers over such poor customer service? So disrespectful. My family will not be returning. I bet if I was a man he would of honored it!

I was there around last August of this year with my family. It was our daughters first time we had a nice server they were quick giving us seats it was on an early weekday the place was not crowded. The pancakes, the food altogether was not that special. I think my daughter was just curious about it but she hasnt requested go back at all.

The food was okay, but the service is terrible. If you love wait times, this is the place to go to. This place is understaffed, and everybody is way to busy to stay attentive to their customers. I am giving this 2 stars instead of 1 stars because at least the food came out hot.

Sitting at ihop Bloomfield Hills MI, and its past 6am. The place is completely dark and doors locked. Parking lot empty, its just me & my family and the delivery guy. The one day I decide to get breakfast in the we hour of the morning and there late. What is up with that?

Good food usually served fairly quickly. Sometimes it takes a while. They can be busy on the weekends and a wait isnt uncommon. The booths are a little tight. Ive got a 40" waist and a 48" chest and they are tight for me. I try to get a table when Im there.

HORRIBLE ARE U KIDDING ME??? Nasty coffee, cold eggs, had a hair in my butter. Staff is rude and the greeter at the door did not greet. Will never come back!!!!!! Raquel was not a good server did not check on us was very short and acted rude.

Wow! I have been at an IH in AZ with a horrible waiter, and awesome waiter, this IHop in Michigan was by far the best! Amazing waitress, great food, and we saw much of the staff continually washing hands. Will for sure return.

I hop is a wonderful place to go, with family & friends, the only thing is, sometimes its slow, youll be waiting between 15 - 25 depending on certain days.. overall A- for the great food & staff.. D+ for waiting times

My wife and I ordered Good food in good ambience. The coffee was roasted well. My wife and I ordered Swedish crepe and spinach and mushroom omelette. It would be perfect if the service was faster, but it was okay.

Good food, but poor service. After we got our food we didnt see our server. We had been done eating for 15 minutes before I finally got her attention so we could get our bills and leave. Very frustrating.

I was pretty impressed. They were able to get us in and out in under 30 minutes. We left when the hostess was not at her post and she came outside to tell us goodbye. Service with a smile!

Picked up take out. Took their time, but thats better than grabbing something under the heat lights. Omelettes were awesome, great pancakes and overall a positive experience.

Expect a wait at this restaurant. 15-20 minute wait every time you come in. Make sure youre not starving before you come here.
