Picked up to-go order, disappointed with the quantity and response to missing item. My wife called to order our food; sub sandwich, calzone, kids meal, spinach artichoke dip, and a brownie for dessert. When the order was placed my wife asked if the brownie was large enough to be shared and was told it was big enough for 2-3 people to share. When I picked up the order I assumed everything was in the bags I was given, I was wrong. The brownie to be shared was missing...in addition when I checked the cup that the spinach and artichoke dip was in, about 1/4 cup of dip was all that we received. Normally the issue with the dip wouldnt be an issue, but it just added insult to injury. I called the store and asked about the brownie and was told "we charged you for it, can you come and get it?" I said yes, and they said it would be ready in 5 minutes. I drove the 15 minutes back to the restaurant, told the counter person what I was there to get and was told it would take a few minutes. This was strange since I was told that it would be ready in 5 minutes. I was only offered a half-hearted sorry and nothing else. I assume that I should have been belligerent-that way I could have been compensated for the extra trip back and the cold food I returned to since the whole experience wasted about an hour of my life. It was a Saturday, not yet too busy but there was no proactive response. I have worked in customer service, I have made mistakes in customer service, the response I received indicated that no one really cared. If I return and there is an issue, I will act out so at least someone will pretend to care, just to get me to calm down. PS: The picture is of the brownie that somehow will serve 2-3 people, not sure how.

We ordered the Mellowterranean, and it was really good besides the pools of oil on top. Our biggest issue was the cheese bread. It was served on tin foil, and wasnt cut, so we had to cut it into slices ourselves. It also didnt have any cheese on the ends, so we were left with crunchy/hard ends of French bread that were inedible. This particular location is in a gorgeous old home, and definitely worth the visit. Just prepare yourself for the smell of patchouli that hits you when you walk in.

Saw people come in after us order and get their food before us! They told us it would be a 35 minute wait so being local we ordered to go. People came in after us and were sat right away then a man came in 5 min after we ordered, we heard him place his order and he was given his order before we were. The food here is great, dont get me wrong, but service every time we are here is questionable.

They have a big inconsistency with there pizzas .We orders 2 cheese pizzas for the kids and they both were burned so bad the server said sorry she would get two new ones and same thing this time she tells us the oven is not working. Then next visit one pizza is burned one not so we will never go there again . The last server we had was very dirty looking.

If there was a word to describe my experience there it would be terrible. I have never had to wait 2 hours after I got my seat to get food before I went to this place. Our waitress was seen multiple times going to the register up front so she could text while ignoring service to her customers. I can safely say that I will never go to this place again.

This was fantastic pizza I had the Magical Mystery Tour pizza it was super the best crust ever Ron had the Mighty Meat Pizza he was very happy with it.. We ordered Bruschetta it was very good but took up pizza space in our bellies. We had very good.and friendly service in this beautiful old mansion well be back next time we are in town.

Excellent food, awesome service. Our waitress, Katie, was on point. She was quick to swoop in with drink refills, patient with our long order, quick to clear the table of unnecessary items without being intrusive, and all with a smile. My son summed it up perfectly: "When you said pizza place, this went way above my expectations!"

Came here with family over the summer, and I was excited to finally sample some pizza on our trip to Georgia. Mellow Mushroom did not disappoint! Although Im not a huge fan of the thicker style crust, it was a quality pie. Cant beat that decor either, and the service was good. I recommend the pretzel with cheese to start off with.

Same food as any Mellow Mushroom, but in a unique atmosphere. This converted home features oversized dining chairs, hardwood floors and stylized adaptations of classic paintings. (The Mellow Mushroom mascot painted into Starry Night is particularly impressive.) Also features a full bar that was quite full at 5:30 on a Wednesday.

While the staff sometimes seems like theyve been eating shrooms rather than putting your orders in, they always seem to come through. Theyre fun and the food is great. The dining areas are interesting and the building itseld is exquisite. We eat there at least once every one or two weeks.

This is the best place in Gainesville for pizza. That goes without saying. It is also the best place in Gainesville to hang out! Meet other locals and chat about the current sporting event on the TV. Play Trivia on Wednesday nights. Chat with the staff, they are all awesome!!

The menu at any Mellow Mushroom is predictably delicious, but this location stands out for the gorgeous, mid-nineteenth-century mansion that houses it. Its worth stopping here for the ambiance alone, but the tasty food and friendly service make things even better.

This place was a delight and quite unlike other mellows in terms of decor. It is inside a quaint house and the food was amazing. It was definitely busy though, so keep in mind the wait times. But the food was awesome and the service was great! Highly recommend!

My favorite mellow mushroom. The service is good and the pizza is always great. I love the old house its in. I dont get to see older homes down south so I always look forward to the architecture when I travel north. I recommend this location.

I love the pizza here. The staff is excellent and the prices are very nice. The bake on the crust is excellent. The variety of styles and flavors are nice. Service at this location is always good. They have an excellent beer menu.

Staff is always friendly, quick, and non-obtrusive. They know just how often to check back and keep drinks topped off. Never a complaint about this location, food is fantastic and prices are reasonable for the level of cuisine.

The most unique Mellow Mushroom I have been to. And I have seen a whole bunch of them. Indoor seating inside of the old house and outdoor as well. Not the most "popping" restaurant in their chain. But pizza is still as great.
