My husband visited the restraunt and paid with our card. We found out when the statement dropped that they put a nice 35.00 tip to themselves on a $30.00 bill (which was not authorized). When I visited the store, the owner refused to help. He yelled at me and told me to bring proof. I asked to see where he had our receipt (he should have them on file) and was told he threw them out nightly. When I bought back our receipt and my statement, he refused to see me. I had to dispute the charge with our bank. MAKE SURE YOU LOOK AND SEE IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO YOU!!! He has yet to call me (I left my number) and was very unprofessional. If you eath there, make sure you look at your statement if you use your card. The bank stated they can go back and add any tip they want. JUST MAKE SURE TO LOOK!! We have decided no matter how good the food might be, the way we were treated was horrible and we feel it was very dishonest!!

Went to get a pizza with garlic knots with my son and family , ordered the pizza and sat and waited. While waiting I noticed one worker being scolded by another for slacking on the job so I decided to watch the workers more carefully. I seen as other customers got their order THAN I NOTICED THE WORKER WHO WAS BEING SCOLDED PLACE A PIZZA DIRECTLY ON THE DAMN COUNTER WHERE CUSTOMERS LEAN ON AND TOUCH PLACE THEIR MONEY ON ETC , AT THAT POINT I THOUGHT TO MYSELF THAT BETTER NOT BE MINE , BUT THATS EXACTLY WHAT IT WAS . NO OTHER FOOD WAS PLACED ON THE COUNTER THE WHOLE ENTIRE TIME I WAS THERE AND BEING THE ONLY BLACK PERSON THERE TOLD ME WHY ONLY MY FOOD WAS PLACED DIRECTLY ON THE COUNTER WITH NOTHING UNDER IT ETC . YOU GUYS HAVE THE CLOSEST THING TO NY PIZZA I CAN FIND BUT ITSNOT WORTH IT BEING SINGLED OUT AND SERVED DIFFERENTLY FROM OTHER CUSTOMERS FOR WHATEVER REASONS

8.75 for a mediocre one topping calzone? Ya right! Who would pay that much for a piece of folded bread, slice of cheese and small amount of pepperoni with a side of watered down spaghetti sauce? They need to start selling liquor b/c you def. need to be more drunk to pay that much for what tastes like bar food. I ended up walking out after hearing that price and going to the subway right next door and got a 10 inch pizza with 3 toppings for 5.08, and honestly the quality is the same. If you want to pay that much for a calzone you might as well go 5 minutes down the same street to mellow mushroom, where the prices match the quality. Larger portions, home made bread (not frozen) and a real bar. Not to mention you cant get a Stromboli the way you want it made, because like most of the food items at this restaurant, its pre made and frozen. Very disappointing.

Cashier tells me its gonna be 20 to 25 minutes for my SMALL pizza to be ready. I sit down and wait for my pizza. As i waited patiently, I hear the guys shout out numbers and hand people their food. I noticed that all the employees are NOT wearing any gloves. They scratches their heads, wipe their sweat off their foreheads, and touch all the food without washing their hands. Then after the 25 minutes they still dont have my pizza done. After 50 minutes, I noticed people who were behind me, already getting their food. I walk up to the counter and asked where my food was, and the guy had already had my pizza done he just didnt say my order was ready. Worst service ever. My pizza was already cold and he hadnt called out my number the previous customer. NEVER WILL I GO BACK. Dont ever order subs their. They dont wear gloves.

I currently work at this pizzeria. And as far as randy Perez said. None of it is true. No tiles have fallen. The only one improperly handling food was him. Ive caught him using the knife we use for subs ON THE FLATTOP. Like he said anyone thats used a flat top knows that that ruins knives. He left the ovens on when he was closing, risking burning down the building. The owner used to have to call and wake him up for his shifts. He didnt properly clean dishes because he thought he was too good to do them. He was slow at his job, always late, egotistical, and a lot of us employees refused to close with him. Thats why he got fired and I guess thats why he thought he would give up the last bit of dignity he had and lie on the internet as a way of bashing the man thats been paying his checks the last six months

I am sorry to say our go to pizzeria has gone downhill in the last year. This used to be a 5-star for me. I am not sure what has happened. The owners need to be aware of this, I am not a competitor trying to take you down. You have gotten as bad as Pasquali across the street! One week the pizza sauce was bad...not made bad, spoiled, spoiled sauce is DANGEROUS to serve. The pizza crust was old...I can tell...I know old dough that has been cooked over fresh. Sometimes I come here and the pizza is stellar. Lack of consistency is killing your business at least for my family....hopefully you will fix this and we will continue to come. Right now I drive down to Flowery Branch to a new pizza place and avoid coming here. Makes me sad.

Food isnt too bad for the price. But honestly how this place passes health standards is beyond me. I worked there a couple years ago and was appalled by some of the ethics Mr Ben (Guido wannabe boss) allows in the kitchen. They literally have a bowl of pot packed and ready in the freezer all day. And smoke it regularly. Everyone there is on drugs (seriously). Not to mention the tax evasion that is going on there. But if u really want a good laugh watch the guy stir the pizza sauce with his whole hairy and dirty arm. (Yea, elbow deep). Used to love the food until I started working there. Good place to drink beer tho.

My family and I LOVE Little Italy. From the pizza to the amazing subs, it is by far our favorite pizza place. They use Italian ingredients and spring for the best cheese and the pizza crust is perfect. We recently moved to St. Augustine and were told there was a great pizza place here, we went last night and got a pepperoni pizza. Midway through eating, my husband and I looked at each other and we both knew ... it couldnt even compare to our favorite Gainesville restaurant. Cant wait to come back, maybe just for the pizza!!!

Perfect place for us to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with many friends and family! The patio provided plenty of room to move around, speakers & music, and heaters - relaxed atmosphere as if we were really outdoors. Ben & his staff had all of the food prepared right on time and it was delicious! The staff kept checking on us and made sure we had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend Little Italy for gatherings!

Man, Ive been going to Little Italy for the longest time now. It is ALWAYS exceptional and just plain good. The crust isnt bogged down with grease and the toppings are over the top. The service is great and its just such a relaxed place to be. To make it simple, its great food, economically priced in a wonderful atmosphere! Keep up the good work guys!
