I WAS a regular customer at inhouse coffee I no longer will be! I am sick of the nasty attitude given by the owner. Today was the last straw, I will never return to spend my money here again. The people that own this place are just the most horrible I have ever seen. They treat there employees terrible. I was in this morning with my small children and I spent over $30.00 in this crap hole. I hear the owner or manager what ever that blonde headed woman is screaming at this poor girl who was so friendly and accually got me to buy and spend more than I was planning. She was so sweet to my children and myself. And it sounded like the girl made a mistake and the woman was swearing at the top of her lungs throwing the "F" word out all over the place. My children could hear this!!!! Completely wrong of her to do. How tacky! The first rule of any good manager is PRAISE IN PUBLIC, CRITIQUE IN PRIVATE. If she had a issue with the girl she should have brought it off the sales floor. Not to mention what is wrong with a woman who would swear in a place of buissness in front of children like that. I also am sick of the nasty looks the owner is always giving he seems very rude and whats up with having to get the code to the bathroom so i can use it. Ugrrh there are so many things wrong with the way this place is run i cant even tell you everything. Anyways make sure you dont bring your children here unless you dont mind the swearing, and who would support and spend money at a place that treats people this way. Just wrong! DONT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have never been taken back so much when hearing how rude a specific employee was to me. I went to Inhouse daily, a very loyal customer. I went in to get food, and I had a Dunkin Donuts coffee. One of the employees LOUDLY AND RUDLY told me to either leave or throw my coffee away. In front of everyone. She stated that her boss tells her to say that when customers come in with their competition coffee brands such as Starbucks or Dunkin Donuts. I couldnt believe it. I left, and of course did not return. I called because I just didnt feel right about what she had just done, I spoke with her and she proceeded to tell me she was sorry and that her boss tells her employees to state those exact words when people come in with other coffee brands. I told her how rude she was and how she could have done it in a different way, and she proceeded to tell me that that is company policy. I will never be back to InHouse ever again. Sadly I loved their service and food but that ruined it for me.

I watch the owner and one of the workers yell at a young girl today about using the bathroom. They asked her to leave on the basis that she used the bathroom. After going to in house on a daily basis, I am aware that she was a daily customer multiple times a day and used it as a place to relax with friends and also study in groups. The owner was very obnoxious to her and very rude. Then the worker spoke to another costumer and was degrading the young lady. I would not recommend someone to purchase from this owner with this type of behavior. I see no issue which arose but if there was to be an issue with a customer, the owner should have spoken softly with the customer and not yell and degrade a person. Also yelling at the young lady that her business is not needed was very disrespectful. Telling your customers they are not needed is disgraceful and degrading.

The staff appears to be nice, but the owners are strange and occasionally impolite. Unlabeled sections of the cafe are for groups only and you can expect to be asked to relocate even when the place is basically empty. The muffins have been stale every time Ive tried them, too. The physical environment is nice & comfortable, if a bit boring (it WAS a Starbucks, afterall). It isnt that hard to treat customers well at this type of business. Just serve decent coffee & food, be polite, and leave people alone. Ive given them many tries, but they dont deserve and wont be getting my business anymore.

Quite possibly the best coffee in the world. I love their breakfast sandwiches, and you have got to try the Thyme Croissant - it is delicious! Of course, they are a coffee shop, but their desserts are out of this world. Ive had a sweet tooth since I grew teeth, and I know my desserts. Their tiramisu will stand up to any challengers! Good atmosphere - I can plug in and use the internet, and they have plenty of outlets, which is a must for when Worcester has its semi-annual 3 day power outage and we all become coffee-shop refugees.

Family owned and operated, one of the best Internet Cafes...great atmosphere to enjoy a great cup of coffee and something to eat, (breakfast sandwiches are made to order and way under $10), alone because you need a break from the rat race, or just to feel like you are at a neighborhood coffee shop...or to negotiate some high powered business deal. Ive done it all at In House, and the hosts graciously make you feel comfortable and welcome...great seating to be seen...or enclaves for more private meetings or to be alone.

The staff were friendly, the service was quick, and the place was clean. Having said that, to me this place is not where you want to go if you want to study or work quietly, which is why I am giving it 3 stars. The wifi is on a 2-hour limit, theres a code for the bathrooms, and no hot water refills for tea. I get that this is a business and I have sympathy for the policies they put in place, but at every step I felt like I was being nickel-and-dimed and on a time-limit for how long I should stay.

Incredibly unfriendly management and staff. Refused to give us a code to the bathroom until our purchase was completed, even though my potty training daughter was doing the pee pee dance. I can understand a customer only policy, but to go to such lengths to inconvenience people is utterly ridiculous. The OWNER then felt the need to cut in front of us to go into the restroom with her boy who was WAY to old to be in the ladies room. Highly unfriendly to customers. Will definitely not be back.

The food has always been a disappointment whenever Ive ordered it. If something is too old to taste good, dont sell it! The coffee is ok, but nothing special. The service is not quick and the management is unfriendly. It is like they view you with suspicion from the moment you arrive and they look for an opportunity to yell at you. I would put up with it if they served you something good, but they dont. Fortunately there are plenty of other places to go for coffee in Worcester.

I have been here a few times and have never had a bad experience. Ashley works the front and has never been anything short of the most pleasant person Ive ever encountered. She knows most of the customers names and orders & constantly has a smile on her face. Ive only had 2 different drinks here and basic breakfast food so i dont have much to offer there but its always good. If for anything Id continue to go here just for Ashleys happy mood, hoping it would rub off on me
