Fine dining has finally arrived in Walpole! Sapore Vero is Italian for "real taste" and this new restaurant serves up really tasty authentic Italian food along with hand crafted signature cocktails, beers, and wines from Italy. Sapore Vero is the second restaurant for owners, Yvonne and Kenny DeFazio, who bring their experience from Trattoria Della Nonna in Mansfield. There they focus on Southern Italian food from Chef Kennys heritage in Calabrian. Sapore Vero expands this vision and delivers authentic Italian food from throughout the country to the lucky folks of Walpole. Yvonnes lovable personality and friendliness contribute to Sapore Veros warm ambiance which compliments its sleek decor enhanced by the contour and contrast of its impressive bar. Chef Kennys years of experience working with masters, such as Barabara Lynch, allow Sapore Veros kitchen to serve up foods that bring delight to all your senses. No longer do locals have to travel to Boston for good Italian food. Hands down, Sapore Vero is now the best restaurant in Walpole!

I had appetizers with co workers here. The selection of microbrews is good. The atmosphere is modern. The truffle fries are amazing. We also had bruschetta, meatballs and braised short ribs. They were all excellent. We met the owners, and they were good, down to earth people. I would feel good about spending my money here because its a local family run restaurant providing high quality food and you dont have travel to Boston.

Four of us tried your restaurant last evening for the first time. We enjoyed the food and the environment. We paid our bill and we were just finishing up our conversation when we were asked us to leave our table because someone else was waiting. I have never been asked to do that and did not appreciate it. As a result of that experience we do not intent to return.

Good food overall - the highly recommended pork chop was a little bland but overall very tender and juicy. Small plates aka appetizers were excellent. Not quite 5 stars - yes Im picky - but 4+ Ill definitely be back. Justin cab (Paso Robles!!!) and Chianti Classico half bottles a nice surprise.

Fantastic contemporary italian cuisine, elegant atmosphere, great staff. Top quality meals and excellent cocktails. Great for a date night or regular night out. (Try the duck)

If you love Italian food, it doesnt get better than this, especially in the suburbs!! The Lasagna and Bolognese are off the charts good. Great bar, too.
