IM A NATICK CITIZEN, I DECIDE TO TRY THE VILLA RESTAURANT IN WAYLAND FOR THE FIRST TIME, SO I TOOK MY FAMILY THERE ON SUNDAY AUG-07-11 FOR LUNCH, MY SELF MY WIFE AND MY 22 MONTHS OLD DAUGHTER THAT SUFFERS FROM AUTISM. WHEN WE FIRST ARRIVE AND THE HOSTESS GREET US AND WALK US DOWN TO OUR TABLE, THAT WAS WHEN A NOTICE THAT THE BEST TABLE ON THE HOUSE WAS BEING USED BY A BUNCH OF PEOPLE THAT WERE HAVING LUNCH, TALKING LOUD AND HAVING FUN. AFTER WE HAD THE APPETIZER AND THE MAIN COURSE ARRIVED AT OUT TABLE, THE PEOPLE SITTING RIGHT BEHIND US APPROACH OUR WAITER AND ASK HIM "DO YOU SPEAK ENGLISH? AND HE SAIS YES, THATS WHEN SHE SAID, CAN YOU LET THIS PEOPLE KNOW THAT THEIR CHILD IS VERY LOUD AND ITS BOTHERING US, IMMEDIATELY I SAID, IM SORRY LADY, BUT SHES NOT EVEN 2 YEARS OLD AND SUFFER FROM A DISEASE AND DO NOT UNDERSTAND THAT JUST YET, THAN COUPLE MINUTES LATER THE SO SAID MANAGER APPROACH MY TABLE AND TOLD ME AND MY WIFE THAT MY DAUGHTER WAS TOO LOUD AND I HAD TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT, SO I TRY TELLING HIM THE SAME THING THAT I TOLD THE LADY, AND HE WOULD NOT EVEN LOOK AT ME WHEN I WAS TALKING TO HIM, THEM HE SAID SOMETHING THAT I STILL CAN NOT BELIEVE IT THAT CAME FROM A SO CALLED MANAGER, "IF YOU DONT WANNA COME BACK HERE, I DO NOT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THAT." I NEVER FELT SO EMBARRASSED AND HUMILIATED IN MY WHOLE LIFE SPECIALY IN FRONT OF MY FAMILY AND OTHER CUSTOMERS.. AT MY PLACE OF WORK A "MANAGER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMERS RETENTION AND AND SATISFACTION.. THATS WHEN IT HIT ME, THE BIG TABLE THAT I MENTION ON THE BEGINNING OF THE EMAIL IT WAS THE MANAGER" AND HIS BUDDIES SITTING THERE LOUD AND FUN... HAVING LUNCH ON THE BEST TABLE OF THE HOUSE ON RUSH HOUR... SO HOW MUCH I COULD EXPECT FROM A PLACE LIKE THIS WHERE THE MANAGER INSTEAD OF BEING COURTEOUS AND NICE , IS BEING EXTREMELY RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL TO CUSTOMERS ON TOUGH ECONOMICS TIMES LIKE THIS... I JUST WISH THAT THE OWNER WAS THERE TO SEE IT, HOW HIS CUSTOMERS ARE BEING TREATED AND HIS MANAGER INSTEAD OF TRANING HIS STAFF BETTER IS WAISTING BUSINESS TIME AND MONEY TO GET FATTER ON RUSH HOUR.... I STRONGLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOLE TO NOBODY...

Piss poor. The owner wont accept out if state IDs to have a drink with dinner. In response to the owner. If your restaurant is following "said law" then you can not serve anyone who does not have mentioned Ids. Tell me this, because other individuals in my party were older and from out of state without mentioned IDs why were they served? Was it because they were older and IDs did not need to be checked? Which if so is age discrimination which so you know is highly illegal.

Fantastic each and, every time I go. My MOST FAVORITE restaurant. ALWAYS get chicken parm. Its to die for and, NO one makes it better. The real deal. Best Italian food Ive personally ever had. If someone offered me to go to The Villa or, Hyatt Regency for dinner, Id happily pick The Villa.

Local staple - order their specials, especially on the day its their Veal, or Eggplant Parmesan. Their salads are great, skip the vegetable, so pasta or a double salad. Its way too much, and this is where I will loose you, but I like their fettuccine with pesto-Alfredo, it is great.

Come here for classic Italian-American eats. The interior is a bit dated, but it gives you the cozy, townie feel that you look for when you are eating comfort classics such as lasagna and veal parmesan (both are pretty good). Friendly staff and magic shows for the kids on Sundays!

Good food and got right in. Loved this place both for its food and service. My wife and I went there after a quick look on the internet and a short drive. We waited about 10 minutes for a table without a reservation on a Saturday. we were both very happy and relaxed.

The Vila serves some of the best noodles Ive ever had, and in no small quantity. Usually after eating here Ive got enough leftovers to last me one or two more days. Its a cozy place, with friendly staff, and a really nice atmosphere.

A simple Italian restaurant. No fancy frills, just excellent food. We love the lasagna; it fooled me the first time because the serving looked small to me, but it is so rich it was all I could do to finish. The Villa is our favorite.

Had me and my friend for the second time in a row waiting for 30 minutes .... We just got up and left. Two people came in after we sat and got their drinks served and first starter order. Horrible service at 3pm on Saturday .

Have no idea why Wayland folks love this place so much. Decor that harks back to 50s without a fresh coat of paint. Mediocre overpriced food and service. Place is always packed. Odd.
