This has to be the worst 99 restaurant in the country. Been here a few times before attending a Gillette Stadium event and both times were bad. Took forever to get our drinks. Took even longer to order the food. When the waiter returned he smelled of cigarette smoke. I told him his smoke break must be more important than taking the food order. Give us the bill for the 3 beers and were all set with food (drinks empty for 15 minutes). When we left there was other servers / kitchen staff out back by the dumpster smoking. Management should be terminated and the entire staff re-trained.

One star They were open. One star! Food came out cold and almost all meals were sent back to reheat. We dinned at 6pm and all the food from the calamari, to the swordfish was sub par. My friends have been eating at that 99 for 35 year and will not return. The waitress was unprepared and did not have our place settings ready and returned infrequently to check up on us. Portion size was inadequate. They ran out of Cole slaw and broccoli by 6:30. We all will not return. We did tell the manager about our meal as we left.

Ive been to many 99s. This one is ok. I ordered the shoreline combo. The piece of fish was the size of a chicken McNugget. The food came luke warm, including the clam chowder, not an item you expect to be tepid. My wife got a Cobb Salad, and they forgot to add half of the ingredients (banana peppers, olives, etc.). The waiter was the saving grace doing his best to bring the ingredients quickly, and being friendly and attentive.

The 99 has been a stand by for 8 years for us. The last 4 visits were so disappointing , its unlikely that we will be going back. Despite the managers giving us 15 dollar value cards which we havent used. My wife ordered the salisbury steak and 4 tries later. it still was served raw. I mean cold raw. two steaks order medium. They came out as hockey pucks. It might be our bad luck, but just the same. Good luck

as we were being seated ,the ignorant waitress made a statement regarding the ethnicity of my wife and I. as well as our mixed race children,, we immediately left and called the manager who was already aware of the situation.. absolutely the worst place we have ever stepped foot into.. our 2 little girls both under 10 had to experience such heinous behavior... f-/^*?# piece of s***

Took half hour to be waited on (not busy) When we finally got our food it was cold and not cooked properly. Sent it back (chicken parm) took 30 minutes to get new one. (Was cook properly this time) never refilled any drinks. Just horrible service and food was only okay. They spent more time vacuuming the floor than taking care of customers. Horrendous.... Ill never go back.

I live in Philadelphia and travel to New England on a regular basis and I always enjoy going to 99 restaurants. There is always a great atmosphere there and great food. I like how they ask your name for the tab and how the servers address you by your first name. You cant go wrong at 99. I look forward to their sucess and the day that they expand to Philly. I guy can dream!

Stick to the steak tips and order at least medium rare. You might want to get them well done. Avoid sauces, breaded, or fried items. Toddlers felt sick after eating food on different occasions. Coworker and I felt sick another time eating the breaded chicken. Address incorrect in Google Maps.

Really good food, pleasant staff. We got there on trivia night, which was a little annoying given that we were looking for a quiet dinner and there wasnt any notice/warning about the event on the exterior or waiting area, but the food was great.
