Upon arrival I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. I had 5 people in my party, I ordered a "BBC pub margarita", which consisted of sour mix and a salted rim, it was terrible. Yes I realize I was at a pub and ordered a margarita, but it was on the menu so I figured it would be half decent, not everyone likes beer. One person in my party enjoyed the beer list, he ordered 4 different beers, they were out of every single one. Menu needs some serious updating if most of the items are no longer available. The food was just ok, nothing to write home about. And our waitress was careless also, she was not educated on the food or beverage menu and it showed. Would not recommend or return to this restaurant.

Amazing food! Hubby & I went to BBC in Walpole tonight, he has never been and I have been to the one in Plymouth. I have been craving Shepards Pie and boy oh boy BBC is NOT disappoint!! We arrived around 7 pm on a Saturday night was able to get seats at the bar. 5 bartenders and dozens and dozen of beer choices! I of course had the Shepards Pie and hubby had the steak tips. Food came out in a reasonable time and hot and in good & satisfying portions. The shepards pie was amazing and hubby tells me the steak tips were cooked to perfection. served with mashed potatoes and deep fried green beans. Giving BBC in Walpole full 5 stars, left there full, satisfied and wanting to go back again!

The beer look looks enticing, with beer tasting flights. My husband had a cider he liked. We ordered nachos, which were only so-so.Would not order again. Both Joes American down the street and Sunset Grill and Tap in Allston have much better nachos. The appetizer ribs were decent, with very tasty onion curls under it. The over 21 pizza was the highlight. Very unusual sweet sauce, crust that doesnt taste like cardboard. Overall, the pizza was tasty and I would have this one again or try the others. I would also try the fries after having the onion curls under the ribs.

I tried out the BBC last night with my family and had a great time. There is a fantastic selection of beer from all over the world and a wide range of food choices that pleased my whole family. Some traditional British selections like Fish and Chips, which were excellent. My son had one of the best burgers I have tried in a very long time. Lots of great choices all reasonably priced. they also have plenty of TVs to watch the game and some bands at night. Lots of fun.

Adult food was good. Service was terrible. Waitress provided only three sets of silverware and three small plates. When we asked for a 4th she was surprised. We are a family of four. The kids pasta was cold and we had to re-ask for the butter that we wanted on the side and ketchup for the fries. No offer for a second drink for the adult, and then we waited 25+ minutes for the check. In general we like BBC restaurants, we will not be returning to this BBC.

Service was very prompt and friendly. Food was very good. First time we ordered a pretzel appetizer here. Quite the surprise when this giant 1 foot diameter beast comes out hanging off a large hooked stand. Hard crust but inside was like fresh warm bread. Cant believe Id like a pretzel so much. My son loves the shepherds pie. Pizzas are very good here too.

Food was okay, though I question why the appetizers are pretty much as expensive as regular entrees. For claiming to be a "British" or at least, I guess, a "British-style" pub, their appetizers include quesadillas and sashimi. A little strange to me. Otherwise, the food was good, though it took a while to arrive even when the restaurant wasnt busy.

Very good atmosphere, good vibe. Food was not that good. Shepards pie was mash on top of gravy with very little hamburger. Salmon had no flavor at all, the only flavor came from spices.... Got a paddle of beer - which was pretty cool. Not recommended this place for it food nice place to hang with friends.

1 star is generous Food cold....walk by kitchen and what a mess. I sent back food and no manager came by to see what happened No service recovery When I sent food back waiter agreed that kitchen didnt know how to bring food to temp I will never go back to the restaurant or affliated locations

Great place to have a tasty beer as well as a cheap beer. They offer everything from natty ice in a brown paper bag to some of the best beers found all over the world. Younger crowd at night for the live, loud, usually good bands. Great events held every so often so keep an eye out.

Awful. Lies lies lies. Our waitress would not tell the truth despite obviously screwing up our order several times. Lettuce wraps? What were they thinking. 13 bucks for iceberg lettuce cut in half with 4 pieces of chicken.

Staff is always good with large groups. Came here a few times with the office. They do a good job of keeping separate bills (as annoying as that can be)and filling our drinks. Food is a bit oily and thrown together.

This BBC was ok. I rent a small room with about 20 people from work for an after work Christmas party. The waitress was great. They brought some appetizers but it was not that much. The beer selection was good.

Not family friendly. My wife and I were rudely scolded by a server for letting our three year old son out of the booth so he could walk around a bit. Totally ruined my fathers day dinner. I wont be going back.

I travel all over the country. This place has great food and healthy portions. Great selection of beer. About 30 or so on draft. Great environment. Staff was fast and friendly. All around good place.

Excellent selection of beer and live band karaoke on Thursdays is fantasic. The place is HUGE so plenty of room for friends and bigger parties. I havent eaten here yet so will update when I do.

The staff is terrific, including Scott, Heather, Tammy, Bridgett. Like new manager. They do their jobs very well. I have been coming there few years. Will continue enjoy the bartenders and staff

Food was just ok. Some things came out cold and my salad had pieces of onion and cuke that were too small to even pick up with a fork. Service was also a little slow for my liking.

Takes reservations unlike The Yard House. Great for family pub birthday parties. Steak tips and chili ideal after winter hiking. Fast friendly service and craft beer flights.
