Delicious soup--Ive tried almost every variation, and its tough to pick a favorite, but it might have to be the pomodoro. I love the tomato base added, with the topping of arugula and parmesan, combined with the richness of the pork belly. This is not the spot for a romantic meal, as all but 6 seats (Three 2-person tables, sometimes arranged as one 2-top and one 4-top) are at a large communal table. Service is fast, friendly, and businesslike. Water is provided as pitchers on the tables to serve yourself, and there is sake and beer, as well as soft drinks and tea. Sadly, no wine.

Came here on Saturday afternoon for lunch. The place had a few people inside but while this place is small, there was no wait for a table. The seating is communal so you will likely be sitting with strangers if you are okay with that. They had 1 vegetarian ramen on the menu with additional sides as well as a vegetarian bun as well. The ramen came out quickly and was service was good. Overall the ramen was just okay. The broth lacked a depth of flavor but noodles were good and the mushrooms and veggies all were fresh and tasted good.

Just came from there - excellent sushi! The salmon was smooth and creamy, the flying fish roe was light and crunchy, and the brown rice was a welcome change, although I wish they had a white rice option. The sea bass Im guessing is farmed striped and was so-so, but thats generally the case for almost every sushi restaurant Ive ever been to. Atmosphere was nice and casual, perfect for a small group. And really good prices for sushi.

Did not care for this addition to Davis Square cuisine! Nice atmosphere, but the avocado salad ($6.25) consisted of 1/2 cup of avocado & veggies in mayo over a lettuce leaf (4 bites). The Chirashi Don ($9.95) was 6 or 7 verrry thin slices of fish (not standard sashimi cut), tasteless and tough, over a mound of brown, sticky, artificially "sweetened" tasting rice. I left unsatisfied, hungry and $20 poorer for it...

Ive really enjoyed snappy each of the times Ive been there (about 5x). Ive also eaten at basically every ramen shop in the greater Boston area. Snappy offers a good selection, easy seating, and a very satisfying bowl of ramen. Its one of the few places you can find Tsukemen (dipping style) ramen in the area as well. The location is great right in Davis square as well.

I would say the ramen here is great! The spicy ramen is not so spicy that you cannot taste the food anymore so go ahead and dont be afraid. They have a small selection of beer which in itself is fine! The obly downside I would say is that they are open only on select days for lunch but I believe all days for dinner. The cost of a bowl of ramen is about 14$ here.

This was the best ramen I have ever had and maybe one of the best soups. I havent had a ton of ramen so I might not be the best judge, but regardless as a meal this was delicious. I got the chicken miso version. The chicken was so soft and the broth was amazing. Ill definitely make a special trip there if I am back in Boston.

Great spot for delicious ramen. One of the best things is the amount of veggies they will add to your noodles. Its not traditional, but is delicious! They serve two kinds of broth and both are fantastic. The pork belly buns are also very good! This is a spot Id definitely go back to. Great service and good food.

Nice place for Americanized Japanese food. Not particularly authentic, but the miso ramen I had was good. A bit too much salt and could use more flavor, but otherwise was pretty filling at a decent price. Came in for lunch, they werent particularly busy. The service was thus expedient and efficient as expected.

Are you a) an introvert, and b) craving ramen? Well then just sit yourself at the communal table, fill out your little sheet, and like five minutes later youll have an Allagash white and a bowl of super tasty noodles placed in front of you. Not super traditional, which I dig. Will be back for sure.

Great prices, tasty brown rice sushi, and some creative rolls. My fave, however, is the chirashi-don: a bowl of sushi rice with an assortment of sashimi on top. Best lunch for under $10! The atmosphere is very nice, although I kinda miss the big table they used to have.

When we first ate here over 2 years ago it was called "Snappy Sushi" and had a big painted sign on the front window that read "NO SUSHI". We were intrigued and had to eat here. Indeed we found no sushi - only Ramen. They have since changed their name appropriately.

Been to this place several tiems, for their specials amd other regular ramen. I think the qualify is good and the amount of food is good for one person. It was nice to be around the area on friday night as you can do other stuff after your lovely meal here

Food was tasty and I couldnt stop myself from ordering more. But the table set up - 1 big table where everybody sits - reminded me of high school cafeteria. Its a good local sushi place but definitely not something what youd call a "restaurant".

They have natto! And they have other excellent vegetarian rolls. Their green yea us really well prepared and served in a fun cup. Their servers a very good. The Davis Square location has a much better ambience than the Newbury Street one.

Cozy ramen house in Davis Square. Its obvious that they spend quite a long time stewing the thick and delicious broth, which is the key for ramen. One of my favorites in Boston area.

Very tasty ramen with some unique flavor options like Pomodoro (tomato based broth). I like that you can get a base Ramen and then add in various ingredients. Always tasty.

Great little ramen shop -- can be a bit crowded, but Ive never had to wait to be seated. Lots of options / customization available, and I love their pork buns!

The Ramen is delicious. I like the spicy wafu with spicy garlic oil. My wife likes the Ryo Tsukemen. The tonkotsu is much better than their vegetarian broth.

Great food. Jsyk: fill out the slip at the table and get the waiters attention to place your order. Pork buns were great but the soup is the main attraction.

Will not allow you to call in for a pick up order. Website is linked to another location, instead of Somerville. Otherwise, ramen was delicious.

Tried the dashi ramen. Tastes wonderful. It might not be an authentic one, but the soup sure taste best from other ramens Ive tasted in Boston!

Good ramen. Tasty broth. Interesting addition of local veg to traditional ramen. Noodles were slightly undercooked. Definitely worth a visit.

The brown rice is a nice touch, but its definitely a different flavor than most sushi. Good fish, if mostly unremarkable.
