Great date night spicy restaurant. I recommend the non-vegetarian meal for two which includes Soup, Samosas, Seekh Kabab, Chicken Tandoori, Chicken Tikka, Boti Kabab, choice of two entrees (excluding Tandoor Specials) Rice Pullau, Naan, dessert and coffee or tea. Remember that the samosas have shrimp so ask for the vegetarian samosas if your date is allergic to shellfish. Better to give your waiter a 20% tip for substitutions than have your date go into anaphylactic shock from food allergy. My favorite entrees are the Kerala Fish Curry: Spiced talapia cooked in a red chili curry, Madrasi Fish: Fresh swordfish cooked in a curry sauce with mushrooms green peppers & onions, Sher-A-Punjab Goat: Pieces of goat meat (with bone) cooked in our chefs delightful coconut curry, and Rogan Josh: Lamb cooked with exotic spices, herbs and nuts in a mild yogurt sauce. Ask to substitute your naan for Naan Apricot Date: Unleavened, handmade bread stuffed with fresh apricot and date. You are probably quite stuffed to bursting by the time to realize you can bring most of the food home with you. Remember is is not a food eating contest so ask waiters to pack up your food so you have room for dessert. Badam Kulfi: Exotic ice cream from India made with saffron, almonds and nuts. Conveniently located next to Quincy Center MBTA station, plenty of street parking, no wait for tables, friendly attentive waiters, clean environment, and LevelUp app accepted for discounted meal.

Dinner ***** Buffet ***** Delivery ***** Service * Portion-Price Ratio ***** Thats 4 out of 5 on the satisfaction scale. The service issue is fixable. First off whenever I come here I feel like Im a burden to the servers. I dont get the feeling that they want to be there and in turn that makes me feel like I dont want to be there. I get it. Nobody enjoys going to work. But in the service industry you need to at least appear like youre welcoming to the patrons. This really takes away from the dining experience. Your food is top-notch but the meal can be spoiled by feeling unwelcomed. Please have your service greet the patrons with a smile and at least say hello instead of just looking at us and expecting us to tell you how big the party is and then just point to where we should sit down. Being nice and courteous goes a long way

Indian restaurants can sometimes have food that all taset kinda the same. This place is nothing like that. The Chef at Sher-A-Punjab has an AMAZING palate that never fails to impress. All the dishes are sublime and all of them have their own unique taste. Flavors are savory and complex. It always makes me think of authentic Indian cuisine. Cant say enough about this place. The Buffet is crazy delicious and at a great price. The decor may seem dated but for me it never interferes with the dining experience, thats why I give it 5 stars.

The food here is delicious! They have a decent buffet and the price is good. The staff try to be friendly even though a few seem to struggle with speaking English. It did take them longer than it should have to restock the plates, as they watched me and my friends standing in front of the buffet waiting. I have also ordered take out for lunch at work and they arrived sooner than expected and came right inside my work to deliver. Great service!

Located right across the street from Quincy College, as well as the Quincy Center MBTA stop. I went in out of curiosity for the incredibly well-priced brunch and left VERY happy. Absolutely delicious naan, and the different curries had their own distinctive flavors instad of just tasting the same. The coconut tomato soup was great as well. As a student at Quincy college, I see myself coming back here again.

Im a huge fan of Indian food, and this is without a doubt one of the best, if not the best places to go in the greater Boston area. Great menu selection, with no dishes that feel out of place. Every option Ive had was flavourful, while still conscious of spice level(they ask, I get medium). Great attentive staff, tastleful decor, and remarkable food make this one of my go to restaurants

The Tandoori roti was thin and cooked perfectly, slightly crunchy in spots and moist. It was whole wheat. The Chicken Kadai was very flavorful.i really enjoyed the large peices of peppers and onions. The Dosa Masal was my favorite thing. The potatoes and lentils inside were seasoned well and there a few lentils that had been toasted that gave a nice crunch.

First Indian place weve tried in the area, and this place did not disappoint. We ordered 2 dinner plates with Naan and it came to about $40 delivered. This is a bit more expensive than im used to paying, but we were each able to get 2 meals from each entree. Id like to head to the actual restaurant and try the buffet.

The bathroom walls are full of boger. Clean your place. I am surprised how they are open until now. Dont believe me go to their bathrooms and look at the walls. I was going to snap a picture but I was disgusted enough and left right after. Ill never go back there again. First and last time.

The food is good but salty so I do swell up that night and the next morning I feel it! My husband likes the chicken Marsala cooked medium and I like the ck Korma cooked medium. I would recommend this location to a friend! And they always have deals on Groupon, living Social & Val Pac.

Horrible service. I m an Indian and I know Indian food. This place is last on earth to visit. Only one person serves as all in one roll. Couple of other dont speak or understand a word of English. Food is below average but people and service is absolutely third class.

Had lunch buffet from here. For the price, taste was OK but the varieties were less. Also the place is congested. Cannot complain considering the location. Parking is another major problem - street parking - you are lucky if you get it.

This is one of my favorite spots in Quincy! The food is always delicious, portions enough for leftovers, awesome attentive wait staff, and a clean and ambiant location. Worth it.

I always enjoy the bhindi masala when we go here. Maybe not the best for large groups, the last time we went on a non-busy day with 10 people they forgot a bunch of the food

Food is not spicy. The decor may be improved a little and the place can be cleaner. It is an inexpensive choice for Indian take out but not an option for fine dining.

I love buffet dinner over there. But staffs are not professional. If you go late, you may not get the quality food. You will have to adjust on a kind of leftovers.

Good food and great service. Biryani is typical northern style gravy type. Butter naan and chicken naan are excellent. Quality and quantity are excellent.
