Weve been enjoying amazing pastries from Buttermilk since before it was called Buttermilk. When the new owners took over, they took "amazing" to an entirely new level. They do a great job, they are incredibly friendly and the new additions to the menu are absolutely fantastic. Kudos to Buttermilk and may they have continued success! Russ

Every time I think about the crap I ate here I feel like vomiting all over again! Seriously do you people not know good food anymore? Im a fat guy and love to eat. Just would never subject myself or any of my family members to this garbage. Just because this dump is in the heart of Newburyport doesnt mean its good food!

What a treat this place is! I was in town last week and treated myself to their delicious open apple pie pastry! This was one of the BEST pastries I have had in a long time. Definitely work a visit (or six) when shopping in Newburyport!

Buttermilk Baking Company is the best bake shop in Newburyport, Massachusetts A few of my favorite items are the cinnamon rolls. blueberry pie and coconut macaroons. Always fresh, flavorful and delicious.

Good but a little expensive. Cake truffles are really good. The cup cakes are a tad bit too rich, but still really good. Worth the extra hour on treadmill.
