We visited the Athenian Corner for lunch yesterday. We ordered the spinach pie, the skordalia, fried zucchini, a greek salad, lentil soup and the cucumber/yogurt sauce. The spinach pie was cold, tasted as if it had been made days before and the zucchini was burnt. The cucumber yogurt sauce was good, but served with too few crackers- saltines in this case. Id have preferred pita. The lentil soup was the best item on the last. We typically eat a mostly vegetable-based diet and we were disappointed in both the menu and the food preparation. We will not go back. The service, however, was friendly.

I saw this resturant and thought I would stop in. Im a big greek food fan but the food here was way below par. When you step in, there is no hostess, an you almost feel as though you should not be there. After standing for 15min, we were finally seated. About the food, lets just say, I could have payed a lot less if I would have know i was a better cook than they were. Truly tastless and awful. Not typical of most greek places. We left all of our food at the table. Terrible.

I went here today with a large lunch order for take out. I have been multiple times before as well. It was a bit of a lengthy complicated order and a salad was missing when I picked it up, but the manager was so quick to correct it and gave us some complimentary baklava (which was delish!) Not only was he so quick to accommodate and so sweet, but the food was tasty and had large portions. I will continue to do business here for sure!

There was a fruit fly in my wine. My husband told our waitress that I was unable to finish it (more than half my glass) because of this fruit fly. Waitress response, "oh, we do have those here" and smiled. The wine was not taken off our bill .. humm I have to say very disappointed in the service. Overall, the food was okay .. I love greek food and have had better experiences. WILL NOT BE RETURNING!

Limited menu choice, but their Moussaka is wonderful. Their egg-lemon-rice soup is also great, though sometimes it varies in consistency (more or less lemony). Better of the Greek places I have seen around, though there are far and few between. The other Greek place in the same area is FAR overpriced, and not nearly as good IMO. The best Greek place ever (besides being in Greece) is FAR away in Toronto ;P

We just had a wonderful family meal and I was happy to see that the Athenian Corner still deserves their great reputation. We were a party of eleven and the waitress was terrific. We all really enjoyed our food and I look forward to returning. One observation is that the restroom might be a challenge for some disabled or elderly guests.

Fantastic dining to say the least. The egg lemon soup and Pasticho were quite authentic. The greek salad was perfect as well, with crisp lettuce and plenty of crumbled feta. Portions were large, prices reasonable, and the service friendly and prompt. Ill look forward to my next visit.

We came Sunday afternoon for lunch, just before noon. Only one other table had a customer. We were given an evening menu, then upon request a weekend lunch menu was given to one of us. Grrrrr. We ordered our drinks and waited for over 10 minutes. Still no waitress. We left.

Come on I am not eating for free, we pay money for poor service? Worst waitress ever seen in my life or lowell area. Hope the owner sees this review and train their workers. I gave $20 bill for my food and I eat for $12 and nobody return my $8 that really sucks.

It is a great place if you like Greek belly dance music and food. We always go here for large birthday parties. Cant say enough about Marnie, she is exceptional-friendly, accommodating and always on the ball! The musicians are also wonderful! Fun place!

“Good. Authentic. ” Got spring fresh rolls (good), Pad Thai (ok, light on seasoning) and beef vermicelli soup (good). Soup came with a bone and some good hot sauce. Would go back and try two other dishes.

Great experience on a quiet Sunday night. Our waiter, Marc, was excellent; attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The service was fast and the food was great. I would definitely visit again.

Our waitress was the best. We asked her name, it was kayla. Friendly and quick with drinks and food! Best waitress at any resturant in general would deffinately reccomend Athenian Corner!

Love the food, but the service is so-so. The servers love to vanish when its time for the check, so several times weve left 15-20 minutes later than we were expecting.
