I used to come to this place back in high school, the food is still good until you let them know something was wrong, then everyone starts talking in another language and has an attitude. My food had hair in it after I complained about the wait. Customers ordered and left after they ate, and I was waiting for scrambled eggs bacon and home fries? Still? I ordered my food separate from a group, paid separate and still had to wait almost 40 minutes for my initial order. Not good at all, and Ill post a pic of my plate

This is a really solid hole-in-the-wall breakfast diner. I got a huge plate of for $5, and it came with coffee. The hash was well seasoned and just the right texture. Otherwise, it was a standard eggs/toast/sausage breakfast, but it was so good, and the price made it worthwhile. Its too bad the hours are so limited. Sometimes I really want a late night breakfast plate, or a sunday brunch spot. This is not the place for that.

Fabulous old school cafe my MA friends exposed me to this am. I enjoyed watching the cooks prepare our food as I savored Forest Hills Diner to fully awaken. My food of choice was the machaca with black beans & avocado...so good! Id definitely come back and sit at the counter for even better people watching!

Ive been going to the Forest Hills Diner for over 30yrs, the owners are wonderful people, the food is delicious and the proportions are great, because its a neighborhood diner you can be sure youll bump into someone you know, thats what also makes this a great place to eat!!
