The Agawam Diner was the only thing that could get me out of bed early in high school. Expectations were high when I stopped at the A-D for the first time in almost 10 years and it did not disappoint. The chicken pie (think upside down chicken pot pie with no crust over the top) is phenomenal. When I think comfort food this is exactly what I have in mind. Quick & friendly service, generous portions, and great prices. Two meals and 2 fountain drinks came to $24, including 20% tip - how can you beat that? My only regret is not trying one of the desserts that filled the display case behind the counter. The Boston cream pie practically had me drooling, but I was stuffed after our meal. Guess Ill just need to visit again! The A-D is a traditional lunch wagon diner. If youre looking for a spacious, renovated restaurant with gourmet cuisine and a quiet environment, this is not the spot for you. If you enjoy home-style cooking and a good bang for your buck, the Agawam Diner is second to none!

Been here forever and comfort food never changes. They are consistent and most of the help has been here for 25+ years or even longer. There is nothing on the menu I havent tried and recommended this place to anyone driving through the area as people who live within 50 miles of the Agawarm qualify as local and betting my bottom dollar have this place listed as a must when a little road trip along route 1 for some shopping, site seeing and good comfort food seem to all go together. Looking forward to another 50+ years, congratulations Agawarm!!!! :) But one problem, PLEASE, owners, its time to replace your booths, they are in deplorable condition and need fixing now!!!

Our waitress Debbie was the PERFECT diner waitress - loud, funny and has a fabulous personality. The homemade blueberry muffins were to die for!! Our table of six was constantly being asked if everything was ok, despite the fact that the place was packed and there was a lineup at the door. Definitely not to be missed if in or passing by Rowley MA!!!

Cash only, greasy spoon style 50s diner great atmosphere, my wife and I got the hash and egg plate. Large selection of desserts. Staff is warm and super friendly reminiscent of classic diner folk. Hash was light and savory. Home fries we ordered well done/crispy were spot on. Would recommend to anyone who enjoys comfort food.

*cash only Adorable diner with typical diner food that is yum. I had an omelette for dinner and it was scrumptious and very fast. It is inexpensive and simple food. Our waitress was on top of it and helpful. I ate it so fast I basically forgot to take a picture, but heres what was left of my food.

Great diner. This is the place to go anytime you want to get in and get out. All you have to do is look at the door - if you can get in, the foods great! If you cant get in, go find something else. Friendly service, consistent good quality of food and portions.

Nice traditional greasy spoon diner. Decent sized menu, lots of pies for dessert. I had a cheese steak, my wife had the cube steak; we both liked them. Cute building too. Not many diners that look like this are left any more.
