I have followed this joint on Instagram for a long time and have heard great things, but this week was my first time visiting. My daughter and I went at noon on a Monday to guarantee that there would be no crowd. It was definitely difficult picking out an ice cream flavor but ultimately I decided on the salted and my daughter ordered the cookies and cream. Both were excellent, especially the caramel, as it was not overly sweet and had that nice burned caramel flavor that was just delicious. I also ordered a chocolate cupcake for my son and brought it home; the price was right at $2 per cupcake. The server seemed friendly and it was good that they had self serve water with little cups. We will be back!

Ive enjoyed my several visits and love the décor and friendliness of the staff. NCC hits the spot with the outdoor seating (enhanced by the planters!) The iced latte with a touch of cinnamon is delightful and if you just want a bit of something sweet...try a macaroon or two (they come 2 for $1.00!). One little "not so great"....the blueberry muffin fell flat... a lot of berries but not much blueberry taste and a bit dry. Of course the ice cream alone is worth the visit (tho so far Ive only enjoyed a mini chocolate and it was so good.) I definitely recommend stopping and enjoying the New City Micro Creamery. Sit outside, read, chat, enjoy the passersby and relax!

Delicious creative combinations of creamy wonder. All the iced cream is hand made. Staff is mostly friendly and respectful and care about doing a good job. You pay with a swish of your finger if you use credit and receipt can be emailed to you. I tried the cannoli ice cream which had real cannoli in it - beautiful! Friendly atmosphere and nice to look at. I would give it 4.5 stars because tables are tiny and some little kid was staring at me from like 9" away and it was annoying the crap out of me. Other than that awesome and I heard the speak easy is super cool too so cant wait to try that!

Play Store cool very interesting Katniss fear setting up the ice cream store like a brewery. The ice cream was fantastic they make it fresh and homemade and it shows. My daughter got the pumpkin spice which she loved and the rest of us had normal ice cream but they were all great. Plenty of space to sit and stretch and relax. Easy to get to in the center of town not much else going on in Hudson but this place was great. It was also a coffee bar there which we didnt use but looks really good. People are friendly very clean new looking I would highly recommend it.

Absolutely fantastic ice cream, great decor, but the coffee I had was less than good. The Ice Cream I had (vanilla bourbon) was quite honestly one of the best ice creams Ive ever had. Taste was great, and the texture was perfect. Creamy and fresh. I also had an espresso to go with it (its my go-to with gelato, so figured why not with Ice Cream), but the espresso was quite chemical tasting. Dont know if was a bad roast, or what, but it was not pleasant.

Wonderfully exotic selection of flavors! They let you sample them before you make you selection, too! Whatever flavor of ice cream you get, make sure to get it in their waffle cone - they must make them fresh at the restaurant, because they are absolutely delicious! Also, they have a cute little garden-type area for you to sit in outside the restaurant, with strings of lights above you!

Incredibly expensive icecream that didnt taste any better than the store bought brands. If I didnt know any better id think it WAS store bought. The scoop of icecream I got was laughably tiny; about the size of a babies palm, and cost me close to 5 bucks. Disgusting. Would recommend only to people who like getting ripped off. Friken dairy Queen has better icecream for crying out loud.

Hands down the best ice cream you will ever have. They hold an ice cream making demo weekly where the flash freeze the ice cream with liquid nitrogen so that way it always tastes fresh. They get creative with their ice cream too, with flavors like Java the Heath and Vanilla Bourbon. They also serve milkshakes and espresso, and if you ask nicely, you can get an affogato milkshake!

It was hot outside and ice cream looked good fit the moment. The atmosphere is nice. Ordering was nice and the selection was unique, however, was cut off when i went to pay by a another customer so my sundae melted as the customer stood at the register ordering. The sundae was good and the fennel pistachio ice cream was interesting.

Keep this a secret - inside, over to the right and towards the back, is a speak-easy. Press the buzzer, wait a short moment and tell the person opening the shutter that you need to have your shoes fixed. After entering, ask Al about their custom drinks; order one and enjoy. Small food menu but great. Desserts wow.

This is mostly a review of the restaurant attached to the side. Amazing. The drinks are all made with real fresh ingredients. . No pre-mixed nonsense. The menu is intentionally small and everything that is listed is done to perfection. The octopus is smoked in house and is absolutely stellar.

On my journey across the US, my daughter took me to the New City Microcreamery in Hudson, MA. I have about five homemade ice cream stores that I have ranked five stars. This is one of them. I had a cup of coffee ice cream, definitely the best coffee ice cream I have every had. I will be back!

The best ice cream Ive ever had. So much so Im glad I dont live closer because I be in there every day. And they serve some of the best coffee around. The Fennel Pistachio in a waffle cone is like a Boston North End cannoli wrapped in a pizzelle. I kid you not.

When you taste the ice cream, you know they use fresh ingredients. You can almost feel the tiny hairs of the leaves they use in their mint chip. The pistachio is made with pistachios, not amaretto flavouring. By far, the best Ive ever had.

My newest favorite ice cream place. Lots of space. Serving are not large but the ice cream is excellent. Neat place on Main street in Hudson. Lots of favors. The "liquid nitrogen process to freeze the cream" makes nice ice cream.

Creative, delicious, appropriately priced and friendly customer service. Im not sure what else you could ask for! I usually go for the coffee and pastry items but sometimes I just cant pass up getting some ice cream. Love this place.

We love this place. Always busy. Might seem a little pricey but the serving sizes and quality means you get your monies worth. A regularly changing menu of fantastic ice cream, toppings, drinks in a very relaxed environment.

The ice cream is good but the espresso is the best Ive had in my whole life. They have a mirage machine and do magic things. If you like espresso proceed with caution...all other espresso will taste terrible in comparison.
