Stopped at the Taphouse while on vacation. Were from NYC, so were kind of spoiled with restaurants. Also, Im vegetarian, which means finding restaurants outside of the city can be a challenge. Taphouse caught our eye because it was clean, had a good menu (ok, very few vegetarian items, but still!), and actually had a young, but not rowdy crowd. We got onion rings (awesome), a caprese salad (possibly the best item on the table), and a cheese panini (SOOO cheesy!). Everything was great. Our waitress was very friendly, and tried to help me with a beer selection. Unfortunately, she didnt know beers (which she was totally upfront about!) and ended up making poor recommendations based on what I wanted. But, like I said, that was really not her fault. She even brought me a sample of another beer she thought I might like, and even though it still wasnt my cuppa, I appreciated the gesture! The best part was when we got the bill... drinks, appetizer, two small meals, and dessert, and I think the total was $25! I have never in my life seen a bill that low for so much food (again, Im from NYC, lol!). Plus, our waitress had free soda refills coming so fast, we could barely finish the glass before another would be here. Next time Im in Fall River, there will be no question that the Taphouse is where Ill be eating!

I just realized Ive never reviewed this place and we come here so much! This is a great bar style restaurant that has great food! The drinks are really good here and fairly priced. They have fun martinis that are candy inspired and also have a full bar for whatever you desire! Also as you guessed it from the name, it has lots of unique and local beers on tap. I personally love their pizzas, more personal sized but I never finish. Splitting may leave someone a little hungry, depends on your appetite. Ive has the cheeseburger and chourico and fries (which is an amazing local Fall River tradition that you need to try if visiting!). Burgers are great too. If youre just coming for appetizers we have tried the nachos and these easily can be shared between 2 people. Lots of televisions all around showing sports. Usually a band or singer takes the stage around 8. There is bar seating as well. I dont think it gets too crazy at night but weve never been really late, just lunch and dinner. A must try in Fall River, conveniently located right by the courthouse!

My husband and I are from out of town, like 5 hrs out of town(PA) lol.. We decided on this little gem on a OMG were starving, tired, and need a drink! The Mozambique fries(without the churice for us) were so delish and the shear size of the appetizer- its a plate the whole table could enjoy(if you decide to share) I had the chicken parm with linguine-which is made fresh everyday in house! My husband had the steak tips which were seasoned and cooked to perfection.. There are many a beer and drink to choose from, I enjoyed the pineapple upside martini thingy and the other one it was something tropical blue and refreshing(gotta cut me a break I was tired) the servers were super friendly and helpful.. Eat here! drink here! go here! its a definite must on you list!! you WILL NOT be disappointed!

After not being able to pick out a place where we wanted to go eat, my boyfriend and I decided to keep driving and ended up in Fall River. Taphouse caught our eye, we googled the reviews, and decided to try it. We were not disappointed! We ended up getting the Stout Barbecue Wings, Blackberry Burger, and Mushroom Swiss burger. Absolutely delicious! We didnt get to try any drinks, but are definitely going back again. Our waitress was attentive without being annoying, our food was exactly how we ordered it, and the atmosphere was comfortable. We went on a Monday night, so there wasnt a huge crowd. I am looking forward to going back. The price wasnt too bad. For three sodas and the above mentioned food, came out to be $33. Not too shabby.

Full bar with a good amount of beers on tap. The food is very good too. There is also live entertainment here often. Parking situation is tough, but they do offer a valet service. Nothing too fancy, but overall a good place to come for food and drinks. EDIT: 8-13-16 Removing a star because the last couple times we have gone the food and drinks have been subpar. Also we went on a little later on a Friday night and the place was a ghost town. Kinda disappointed as this was a convenient place for us to go.

So we decided to get sizzling chicken fajitai and the nachos which in total came out to $25 the chicken was horrible no flavor the vegetables was overly big and not sliced and diced properly I actually took my food home and cooked it an added fajita seasoning the nachos where horrible it was just melted shredded cheese with lettuce definitely was not worth the $25

Went there with a few buddies on a Saturday night, the kitchen was closed so i didnt get to try the food, but the selection and the entertainment was fantastic. Live band that was actually pretty good and sang a wide variety of songs. Will go again and will try to make it earlier so i can try the food.

Ive been in the City of Fall River now for just over a year from Boston and I have found this place to be the friendliest place in the city. The food and beer selection is awesome and the waitstaff is super friendly and down to earth.

i called to see what type of environment it would be for V-Day they told me its the type you dont have to yell to talk so that was a lie could not even hear myself talk food was ok just did not like them to lie

Conveniently located in downtown Fall River, right in front of the courthouse. Ive been here for lunch tons of times, and its consistently good. Cant go wrong with their burgers and sweet potato fries.
