My wife and I are from Denver and were in Lawrence for 3 days. We ate at Burtons the first night and absolutely loved the food and the service staff were wonderful. We ate there again on our last night and the food was even better than the first night. We told our server, Diego, about how impressed we were with everthing and the manager, Paul DiPietro, came over to thank us. Wonderful food, great atmosphere and very pleasent staff. 5 stars is not enough.

2 people meals and drinks bill $100.00 easy. Great surf and turf. Good wine and good service. If you are getting dinner and are anything larger than a stick, DONT bother sitting at the bar. They have too many chairs there and you will be beaten up by others while trying to eat. They only reserve 1/2 the tables so call the day before for a reservation. Wait time is typically 30 - 45 minutes and that is just a Tuesday.

Food was delicious but the service had a lot to be desired. I dont like having to ask for water or dinner rolls. It should be offered automatically. When we did get water our glasses were never refilled. When our rolls were gone we were never asked if we would like more. Dishes were cleared before everyone was done eating. Im not a very picky person but good service does add to the dining experience.

The mushroom risotto fritters (special) was really tasty the BBQ chicken salad was little to be impressed with if they need a better example they should look into the cheesecake factorys version. We arrived at 12pm and left at 1:45pm on a weekday. Almost two hours for lunch?!?! We mentioned that we were in a rush and it was like they never even heard us. 3 salads and a burnt grill cheese sandwich.

Really great gluten free choices! I had the gluten free version of the fried calamari - wouldnt even notice its gluten free if you dont have to eat that way. Food is delicious. Ive had the gluten free fried fish sandwich and the maxx burger so far. Its usually pretty packed, but they have a bar to wait at. Really nice environment. A bit pricey, but well worth it.

Burtons Grill is a place where you can kick back relax and have some good food. Im going to label it as good, because its not really cuisine. But unless youre a snob and need truffle oil infused garlic bread, this place is great. Ive never had a bad experience with service (or food for that matter) at Burtons! Hair of the dog that bit me Lloyd!

I am gluten and nut free. They are amazing and the best/accommodating menu, even gluten free crab cakes. Wowed by their trio dessert, all gluten free. My sister is a vegetarian and she had several options as well. Everything is fresh and surprisingly fast. Wonderful service

They have a great selection of classic American food, steak, seafood, some pasta thrown in for good measure. Ive never eaten something there that wasnt perfectly prepared. They also have a great bar/great selection of cocktails.

Great food and great atmosphere. Always packed, so make sure to make a reservation. We go here about once a month. Its an upscale and trendy place, lots of people here for after work drinks. Definately recommended.

A nice bar/ restaurant. They do have food for paleo dishes also. Good selection of wine and drinks. They have steaks seafood , Or a sandwich .pleasant staff. I would eat here again.

Upper scale chain place. Maui Maui was not as good as expected. Clam chowder, fries, and crab cakes were above average though. Prices higher than I would expect from the quality.

Place is nice looking and it looks like a lot of people will look past the chain restaurant menu because of it. Good service, but the food was unoriginal to be kind.
