I bought their chicken cacciatore because I was too busy to cook that night. I should have looked at the ingredients. Their sauce has green peppers in it. I HATE peppers! I took one bite and threw the rest away. To be fair, this was my FIRST visit to their shop. And, I only tried that one food item. But, Im Italian and have had LOTS of sauce in my life, none with peppers. FYI, I thought, from the look of it, that it was a restaurant, which is why I stopped. And, as I approached the door, it looked dark inside. I thought it was closed! I almost left before trying the door. The sales people were very nice. But, I wont be back. FYI, the chicken pieces were real chicken, not chopped up junk like you get at some places. If it werent for the peppers, it might have been a good dish.

Wanted to love the food from this place since after call it is supposed to be just like your mom makes. Ordered Xmas Eve meals of chicken parm, eggplant parm, pasta and stuffed shells. Heated it all up as instructed and served and most did not taste as good as I thought it would. Chick parm was tasty but the shells and eggplant (their signature dish) were mushy and bland and it was not what I thought it was going to be for the price I paid. My family agreed and I would not order from here again since it was a waste of time and effort to drive here to pickup Italian when I can find the same dishes at any corner mediocre pizza place.

My review is on signage ONLY. I have driven by your store on my way to and from work for over a year now and had no idea if you were a restaurant, deli, grocery, daycare or Italian social club!!! The store catches your eye, you see the sign but have NO IDEA what you do. That said I finally looked you up and will stop in and hopefully update my review. and to the person who was upset about peppers in cacciatore.... ummm... it is usually made with peppers. At least in my lifetime - possibly you are from a different part of Italy?

alfredos is generally a carry out/cook at home spot with tasty italian staples such as baked ziti, lasagna, eggplant parm and deli ingredients such as ricotta cheese and meats. be sure to pick up a loaf of bread or some italian cookies or candies. staff are friendly and helpful. this is a great place to visit!
