My friend and I went the other day. She got the yellowtail sushi and thought it was phenomenal, but the rolls were a little on the smaller side. I got the sweet potato tempura maki, and the rolls looked about 50% larger than hers... They fell apart kind of too easily, but everything tasted great! It was roughly $10 for both dishes. We also got the mango fried rice with vegetables ($11). It didnt really taste much like anything, but the mango chunks and zucchini slivers were a nice touch. The staff workers were very nice to us. They didnt pay so much attention to us that it was uncomfortable, but they did enough that everything went smoothly. Its a really cool little place! They dim the lights and put a shiny, fake candle-lit centerpiece on all the tables. Very lovely, and Ill be going again.

Of over a dozen restaurants weve tried since moving to Cambridge, Mix-it is the most unexpectedly positive restaurant experience. I feel compelled to write a positive review. Based on the name and decor, I expected the typical sauce-heavy, breaded, fortune cookie very Americanized style of Asian fusion. My initial impression was totally wrong. The ginger scallion fish was shockingly good; the white fish was very tender and accentuated by the ingredients. The tempura shrimp and ikura were also quality. The wait staff was ok, but not particularly responsive. It is the chef thats outstanding at this restaurant.

Free ttokbokki (spicy rice cakes) as a bacchanal? Im sold. Also, service has been great! The Majuro realized I really liked the ttokbokki and offered me more. ^^ The Kalgoorlie I had was also pretty good. It wasnt the best, but one of the better ones Ive had in known. With cheap prices for good, comforting Korean food, good selection of bacchanal, and a variety of menu options, generous portions--love this place!

First of all the food exceeded our expectations, and was absolutely delightful in the way you would expect sushi and sashimi to delight you, especially with a carafe of warm sake. The service was spot on too, and the owner even came by to check on us to make sure we were having a good experience. Definitely will go back, will be a nice hang out.

Excellent! The cooked food (chicken yakitori, spicy shrimp, spring rolls) were quite excellent. And sushi (lunch sashimi) was not the best, but still very good. While our waitress seemed like it was her first day, everything was truly enjoyable, and Ill definitely be back. Very very good place!

Food here is SO GOOD! The place is stylish, service is really quick and friendly, and they even have vegan foods on the menu! (Im vegan, and I came here for dinner with my boyfriend who is not vegan. We both loved our dinners!!) If I wasnt just visiting from out of town, Id come here again.

Great place for catching up with old friends. One of the few places to get great sushi on mass Ave in Cambridge. Good food, wish I could give it a half a star for being a little pricier than it should if it wanted to be a good value.

The nigiri was extremely small and the piece of fish was very small and thin. The Philly roll was 2/3 cucumber, a huge block of cream cheese and the smallest piece of smoked salmon. The gyoza were great though.

My favorite sushi spot in the city. Great, inventive rolls. The last time I went I branched out to other cooked items on the menu and LOVED them. Many fusion restaurants are mediocre, this one is fantastic.

Parking is a little hard to find, but the food makes up for everything! They use high quality ingredients. Definitely a must when youre craving authentic Korean food or when you have to nurse a hangover.

Their sushi is great and they have inventive rolls. I had the Spicy Red Dragon and loved it. The ambiance is intimate, perfect for a date. I also had warm saki which was wonderful. Highly recommended.
