Ganko Ittetsu is pretty hidden inside the Coolidge Corner Arcade. It is an extremely small restaurant with very limited seating, but I did not have any problems getting a seat. Maximum occupancy would probably be 15 people max. The decoration of the restaurant is really well done and looks super sleek. Their menu is quite limited, with only 4 items (Marinated Cucumbers, Shoyu Ramen, Miso Ramen and Tan-Tan). That doesnt really matter though, because each of their items are top of the line. I ordered the Shoyu Ramen and my GF ordered the Miso Ramen. Both were very flavorful and had the best toppings. We even tried the cucumbers and it was so good that we tried to recreate it at home (We did). I highly recommend adding the crunchy garlic as it adds a nice crunch and taste to the ramen. If you can take it, add the spicy oil as well. Overall, I highly recommend Ramen here if you are around the area. If you drive, there are plenty of street parking available. Theres also a bunch of shops in the arcade (not a gaming arcade) so you wont be bored waiting around if they have a line.

Updating my review to recommend Tan Tan ramen, which is perfectly spicy, a delicious mix of flavors. The broth was so good that I ordered a second helping of noodles before I was done. This restaurant has a more authentic feeling of a small independent Japanese ramen shop than any other in Boston. Coolidge Corner is lucky to have you! Yeah, this place is good! The restaurant is small and serves quickly, it just has a really great feel. I recommend the shoyu ramen, as I found the miso a little bit on the sweet side. They have a short bar where you can sit if you are going solo. The servers are attentive and friendly. Nice short list of yummy bitter beers. Go for lunch or second dinner!

Ive eaten at every Ramen shop in the greater boston area and this one was definitely unique. A bit on the spicier side (but there are some non spicy options too). Also this place has a better than average beer selection for a ramen joint. Very hip. I didnt have to wait long but the space is small (as most ramen places are) so depending on when you go you might have to wait. The location is really great though. Easy to walk around while waiting.

Ganko Ittetsu Ramen is a tiny place that serves delicious ramen. The decor is casual and the place has cool wall artwork. The kitchen is open so patrons can see the food being prepared. I tried the tan tan ramen. It consisted of a spicy sesame broth and had seaweed, corn and some sort of crumbled pork/pork sausage. The noodles were slightly chewy and had a nice consistency. Service was polite and efficient. Recommended!

家族4人で担々麺と塩ラーメンとしょうゆラーメンを頼みました。特に担々麺が美味しかったと思います。日本のラーメンでほっとしました。はじめに子供用の取皿まで出して下さり、店員さんの気配りも嬉しかったです。

We love Ganko! On this visit, we got two orders of their shoyu ramen, and it was as delicious as ever. Unfortunately, our ajitama came out a bit on the overdone side, but nothing too horrible. Gankos noodles are wonderful, and their small, simple menu does everything right. If you get the chance, get the Gankara Miso and dont look back. Just make sure you can handle spicy food, but its well worth it.

Phenomenal Ramen, I come here all the time. Great place to grab a quick lunch or dinner for a reasonable price. Ive tried all of the Ramen options and I simply love them all. I tend to rotate between Shoyu and Tan Tan and always get extra pork and extra noodles because they are amazing. The egg is amazing too. Highly recommend this place. Keep up the good work guys!!! Thanks.

I love this ramen place; one of the best in the area and I have been to all of them in the Greater Boston area. The broth is flavorful and salty. They serve beer and ciders. The ramen noodles are always on point: just enough tension and texture. The servers are attentive, respectful, and quick. Thank you for giving a consistent ramen experience!

The servers were really nice, portions are big and the service fast. I would give 5 stars if they had more umami flavor in their broth, without having to order ramen add-ons. My friends and I recommend the Cucumber Appetizer (Unfortunately, I dont have a photo because we couldnt stop eating it when it arrived on our table)

Service is fast, place looks great and has a good vibe, and dishes are very delicious (there are 3 ramen dishes with a bunch of different ingredients you can choose to add). The space itself is a bit on the smaller side, but nothing that I personally mind. There can be a bit of a wait (~20 mins?) during peak hours.

This is a hidden gem. The best ramen noodle in Boston. This place is hidden away in a small galleria with plenty of parking. The noodles are amazing. It is made to order and it is always done in prefection. Noodles are from Japan and made al dante with tender cha shui on the side. Broth are creamy and flavorable.

The place is very small and hidden inside a building. They had a very small menu but the food was good. They dont have a bathroom inside the restaurant but they do have a key for a shared bathroom for the building. The only down side was there was no ac in the restaurant even though it was 80 degrees outside.

I love the simple choices offered here. Theres probably only a half dozen ramen choices and a few side dishes. All of them are great so you cant go wrong. This place is especially good for getting in and out quickly at lunch time if you opt for sitting at a stool.

Might be the best Ramen Ive ever consumed! The cooks and servers are extremely nice and generous. And a very diverse crowd. The only drawback is the humidity (need better ventilation). Its a small place, but very cozy and welcoming. Ive been twice, will go again.

Great food and service. My wife and I bring our two year old with us all the time. The staff is great with accommodating us. The food is so good here, I typically order the shoyu, while my wife has gone through the entire menu. Id recommend this place to anyone.

Pretty good Ramen, sapporo style so dont expect tonktosu here. All around a very pleasant if unremarkable bowl of noodles. Its not the religious experience that you can get at specific places in Japan but probably one of the best Ramen places in Boston.

Straight delicious in your mouth!! So tasty, the broth, the ramen, EVERYTHING! I love this little gem, better than any of the salty crap you get in those hipster spots in Cambridge. My mom is very picky with her Ramen, and she loves this place as well!

Great ramen place hidden near Coolidge corner. Had the miso ramen with spicy chili oil added (+$1). The soup flavor was savory. The ramen comes with 2 different slices of pork and a pork meatball. Service was fast and the staff were friendly.

Pretty good ramen. $13 - 14 a bowl with $1 - 2 add-ons. Only a cucumber salad as an appetizer. Very hearty soup base than could be a bit salty for some. Fairly quick service, and very friendly staff. Decent selection of drinks

This place is amazing. The ramen is really tasty but go during the off hours or youll run into a long wait. Theyve got a pretty small space. Good news is they will text when your table is ready so you can explore the area!
