The Ramen is a Japanese noodle soup dish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat- or fish-based broth and some other stuff, this depend of who is cooking it. I came with a co-worker to this place, because he saw it that was in the Westchester magazine. I ordered the Shoyu Tonkotsu Ramen, from the lunch menu and I also add some extra chicken and corn to my Ramen, all lunch special in this restaurant come with a salad with carrot dressing, I also order some fried rice on the side. . The Salad that is included in the lunch special was very good and the dressing, it was just right. The Fried Rice: Had a good taste, and the portion is enough to share between two people. Shoyu Tonkotsu: is a Kishuya original seasoning soy sauce and tonkotsu (pork) broth, topped with pork chashu, ni tamago, naruto, menma, nori and scallion. The portion was very big and adding the extra chicken and corn give it a extra touch, the noodle had a good taste, the soup was not that hot, both of the meat, were very juicy and gentle soft. I enjoy it very much, I will definitely return soon.

I went to Kishuya on Central Avenue last Saturday for dinner. Having lived in Japan as a serviceman for four years, I known an authentic ramen when I eat one. I have ordered Shoyu ramen which I expected to be in soy-sauce based broth. What I had instead was in broth tinged with tobasco-tasting red paste. When I brought the issue to the server, she rudely brushed me off by saying that Kishuya only serves authentic ramen and she would not hear any of what we had to say. When I walked over to the bathroom towards the back of the restaurant, I saw a cook dip his finger into the broth as if he tasted it and grabbed some ramen toppings with apparently the same finger. We decided that we should skip Kishuya and go to Fujinoya for authentic ramen. Kishuya makes a mockery of authentic ramen.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. This was the WORST dining experience I have EVER had. The service was an absolute nightmare, including: waiting way too long for food, forgetting items ordered, mistaking who ordered what items AND an aggressive fight at the end of the meal after a mistake they made with the check. Noodles were decent at best. Terrible management left a bad taste all around.

The head Chef Carlos is awesome and so great that he comes out and greets the costumers. Mara is the best waitress; remembers what I get every time, on top of when my drink is empty. Everyone is super polite. The Ramen is great and so are the appetizers. I have not had one thing there that wasnt good. Everything is spot on!!! I recommend this to anyone who wants authentic Ramen.

Absolutely delicious. Truly. The broth was phenomenal, I had the Kogashi, a broth of soy and tonkotsu. It was extremely well balanced and the right amount of spice, very comforting to eat. The pork fell apart and was delicious as well. I certainly suggest trying this spot!

TERRIBLE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. The chef was scratching his armpit and seconds later he was putting the Chashu on top of my Ramen with the same hands! And the Ramen itself is not authentic at all. A Nisshin cup noodle is more authentic than this.

Great ramen house in Westchester. Small quaint dining experience. Pork belly bao is absolutely delicious. My go to is the Chashumen which is always incredible, super velvety broth, chewy noodles, plus a spice bomb. This place never disappoints!

Probably amoung the best ramen in Westchester. Great tonkatsu broth with nice toppings. Very appealing restaurant with fully visible open kitchen. Staff is very courteous and helpful. Decent prices except for certain drinks.

Fantastic ramen. Might seem like an odd idea, but if you like it spicy, get the spice bomb extra, just dont put it all in at once...
