Great spot for casual dining and drinks. Im a big fan of the chicken fingers (they make em there), the open-faced sandwich and the smokehouse burger. Theres always a seafood special or two on the weekends. This place has character. Dont expect a chain-restaurant vibe...this is a place to see bikers and horse-back riders stopping by after a ride around the beautiful surrounding scenery and trails. Its also a spot where locals gather to play pool and folks come from all around to hear local bands put on intimate accoustic shows. Thursday nights Spike (lead singer from the well-know area band Never, Never) does a show at 8pm that is not to be missed. Also popular are the new Friday night country music live shows at 9pm and they have different established rock and blues bands playing at 9pm on Saturday nights. The staff is terrific and the food is all made-to-order. Theres a moderate selection of wines and liquors at The Woodstock Inn which is a step above other area watering holes. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. I recommend it.

Placed next to an active railroad, this little dive bar is a great establishment for live music and cheap fare. Clientele and bartenders alike, its a friendly place for locals to gather and get drunk and occasionally enjoy some live music. One aside, the bulk of its parking lot is haphazardly across the street which isnt TERRIBLY busy but could be problematic for drunk people meandering across the street to get back to their vehicles and hopefully NOT driving home. Bathrooms are pretty small but adequately can fit 3 at one time (in mens bathroom at least) which is more than most small and popular bars. This gets a big thumbs up! Had a steak there once and it was actually pretty good for a bar, so kudos to the kitchen! Parking is the only caveat I can think of for this bar, otherwise everything else is pretty cool. They even have WiFi (which is great because I had zero signal)!

The soft crab is fantastic, the crab cake is great, and the fried oysters are really the best, anywhere. I really cant rate this place high enough. Its a bar, that serves some food; and typically if you can get a nice burger, or some nachos or wings, that would be great. But the seafood that I have had here on a consistent basis is the best around. For example, the fried oysters were perfect, huge and delicious. With some nice fries, and tasty slaw. Its simple food that is very difficult to prepare well. Same for the crab cake- there are a thousand ways to do it wrong, but the chef here understands how it is done. Also, I had some seafood soup there that came with the soft crab sandwich; it was really good. In summary, if you are looking for a friendly place to have a couple of drinks, and some fantastic food, here it is.

This is a great local bar. Very small inside and cozy with dedicated patrons. Whats neat is that its known as not only a local biker bar, but a place where local horse owners can ride into and hitch their horse up outside while getting a bite to eat. The bartenders and servers are very nice. The three times Ive been, the food has been hit or miss. All the food has great potential but is not always served hot or plated very well. Definitely recommend the wings and the nachos are huge. The crab pretzel tasted good but the pretzel was lukewarm (at best) and the crap dip got colder and colder when nearing the center. They have great drink specials and a good happy hour. Definitely a fun place to go play trivia on Tuesdays or just grab a beer on the weekday.

Normally very good. Ive always had the best lunches at The Woodstock Inn - flatbread pizza, double stack hamburgers, fried soft shell crab, etc. - but today, I ordered the Corned Beef Reuben and it was terrible. I should have told the cook that you dont take the sauerkraut directly from the fridge and plop it on the sandwich, juice and all. They also took the corned beef & cheese directly from the fridge and plopped it on right before serving it. Everything was cold as could be except for the bread which was nicely grilled. The cheese wasnt even melted. What a soggy mess.

Cindy is the resident "Tuesday evening" bartender/server extraordinaire! She greets everyone with a friendly smile, and often has our beverages in transit before we get ourselves situated at a table. Pedro and the kitchen crew create some "stick-to-your-bones" downhome dishes that never disappoint. (Try the Pot Roast Fries)! Catering to bikers, hikers and horseback riders, this is a great neighborhood tavern on the bank of the Patapsco River offering hitching posts and cold beers! A "must see" for both locals and visitors!

Awesome bar/restaurant. Live music, great atmosphere. Surrounded by Patapsco State Park, so one may hike to the bar or better yet, ride by horseback and tie up at one of their hitching posts! Frequent motorcycle shows, just a really cool place. Biker/cowboy/texan-type atmosphere, yet clean and anybody friendly (family friendly too) A must for anyone looking for a unique place. Great food, huge portions, fair prices, full bar. Outdoor patio seating, pleanty of parking for cars, bikes, and horses alike!

MVD Mountain Bike group started our ride into Woodstock area of Patapsco Valley State Park from the Woodstock Inn parking lot. When we returned we had a great dinner and beers. Brittany was our bar tender / waitress. She was great. Keep the beers refreshed. We will be back next Wednesday. If you decide to ride from the Woodstock Inn make sure you stop in and let them know you are there before your ride.

We had breakfast here recently - the only time weve eaten here so far -- and it was excellent. Its a cute rustic little place with a cozy atmosphere and very friendly service. Our breakfast food was very good and nice sized portions. The coffee and Bloody Marys are good too. I plan to come back again for lunch or dinner -- very enjoyable place.

Ordered the corned beef reuben. It was as if the cook took the jar of sauerkraut out of the refrigerator, got a handful and threw it on the bread juice and all, took some corned beef and cheese right out of the refrigerator and put it on top and then closed it up. It was the coldest soggiest mess Ive ever had.

Woodstock inn is kind of my second home. You never know whether you will find horses or Harleys out front, or both! Friendly to all sorts of people, the bartenders are very attractive and friendly, Chef Pedro and Christian do a great job in the kitchen, And the local bar denizens are always colorful!

Waiter highly recommend their steak cheese sub so had it. Sub roll was not warm as stated on the menu. Not only that - menu said overflow of steak cheese. Not even overflowed! See picture. Lastly but not the least - way overpriced! Their fries are super sized!

Great local hangout! Food, drinks, and staff are always great and the atmosphere is very fun. Only rating 4 stars because the sandwiches (which are very good) are a little pricy- $20 for a club. Will definitely be back!

The only way to make this pace better would be to have free beer, chicken wings, and free shots. Within the realm of reality, they are doing everything they can do. Great food, drinks, and staff, and a friendly crowd.
