This is the best Japanese steak house around. We go here at least once a year with friends. We always sit in the hibachi grill section (and often get sushi too). Its best with a group of 6 or more, though we have gone as a couple and sat with others. The food is always delicious and the preparers entertaining. It is pricey (we usually get steak and/or seafood), but well worth the price. Theres a reason we only go once or twice a year. But when we do, were not disappointed. We tried another hibachi grill in Hanover, PA (which we like for their sushi) and the price was comparable, but the entertainment and food werent quite as good. Sakura is the real deal!

Food was OK, curious to see how the "chief" was able to deliver steak cooked from med-wel done at the same time to each customer and act surprised when told they are all well done. Not a real biggie, but for the second time we were served an unacceptable sushi roll. Not warm like the last time, but bland. We go to Sakuras 8-10 times a year (usually in Ellicott City), and the Westminster location is not worth the stop. The worse sushi experience. Given the choice again of stopping in at the Westminster Sakuras or going home hungry, Ill be going home hungry everytime.

We have been to sakuras quite literally 100s of times over the last 12 years. We started with the Bowie MD location where Carlos was awesome. We moved to Eldersburg and frequent Ellicott City ad Westminster locations as they are almost the same distance. Ellicott city is almost always packed. Westminster is usually ok until after 6 most days. Only bad experience I have ever had was at the Laurel MD location where the food was just simply awful in all aspect from prep, to taste. We only do Teppanyaki grilled goods and usually dont eat much sushi.

Ive eaten at Sakura 5 times, Ive gotten sick twice. Coincidence? Perhaps, but Im not going to take my chances again. The food itself isnt too bad but its certainly nothing to write home about. If you need a quick sushi fix and your in the area, its pretty much your only option. The food is somewhat expensive for what you get, I dont believe Ill be coming back to Sakura any time soon. The service at Sakura is really quite good, I just wish the food (quality, quantity, and pricing) matched that level of service.

Definitely the best Asian Restaurant in Carroll County. The food is very tasty and you will never leave the place hungry. The quality of the food is very good, the atmosphere is very welcoming and the chefs are very nice and funny. By the way, if you dont like Yum Yum sauce I wouldnt recommend you to get fried rice, since they use a fairly big amount of the sauce to cook the rice.

This place consistently has great food. The dine in show is funny and entertaining. Its a bit pricey but worth it for the amount of food they give you. Its like getting two meals worth of food. Sakura is one of my favorite places to eat at in Carroll County.

Sakura is better than any Benihana and in my opinion, and this particular Sakura is run very well- good quality meats and staff is always friendly and outgoing! One of our favorite places to go for something special- or just looking for some good food!

I worked at a sakura for like 4 years and there is no reason why you should be getting sick. Its a very clean place and the food is delicious. Ive eaten there a million times and have never gotten sick.
