Simply dishonest. The food is average, but the guy behind the registrar is dishonest and it tricks you. He speaks Spanish and he speaks English enough to understand. But he plays the game that he doesn’t fully understand when things go wrong. I fortunately had my girlfriend (fluent in Spanish) to translate and help out. When I went there he charged me $36+ and the receipt had only the total price. When I asked for a full receipt with all the single items cost, he didn’t understand, and I did not get it. Who knows if that is even legal? I want to know how much I was charged for each single item, but I couldn’t. Within my order I have ordered extra 4 tortillas, but I did not received them. He even asked me if I wanted the tortillas on the side and I said ‘yes’. Again, no extra tortillas received. When I asked for the 4 missing tortillas, he wanted to charge me $0.40 each. Ok, no problem. I’ll just pay. I had only my credit card and he said that the minimum order is $5 with credit cards. Really? After he forgot to give me tortillas and after he charged me $36+, I had to spend another $5 to get the tortillas that I already ordered? Similar thing happened to my girlfriend. She ordered guacamole or something similar, but she did not received it. Without repeating the story, my girlfriend had the same problem as me. This guy probably tricks many people by not giving them a detailed receipt. In this way customers cannot see what they were charged for. Also, often, people avoid confrontational situations. So customers may not say anything and swallow it. I can’t stand to dishonesty. I wish that people would speak up, because dishonest people would have less opportunities to trick honest people. I don’t understand why so many good reviews, the food is ok, but not exceptional. After noticing their dishonesty, I started to doubt the reviews as well. I have been in places with few stars and their food was better. Yelp stars don’t mean much, I suggest trying places without looking at their stars. Yelp has a filtering system that is not good. Some reviews get filtered and trashed, while others stay. Everything is decided by their automated computer filter, so you can’t fully trust it.

I have been coming here for years. This is authentic as it gets. Dont be scared away with the tough parking spots, gas station right next door and small restaurant location. This is the real deal! I stopped by ordered the half steak Torta and 2 beef taco combo for 50 cents more I got a large horchata. Everything was delicious, seasoned and cooked very well. I packed my tacos with plenty of everything from the mini fixings bar. Food came out in less than 5 minutes. I would recommend just the half Torta because that is already pretty large and they stuff it here with a lot of meat. Huge fan of the rice and refried beans here as well. It just tastes fresh and not refrigerated. Great place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Seating can be tight with only about 2 tables inside and 4 tables outside. There are no signs by Ziki about towing so I always park there.

This place is great for quick, cheap bites. You can definitely load up on delicious Mexican food if you are really hungry. I recommend trying everything to find your favorite but I highly suggest the Chicken Empanada. You can get filled up on great food for under $5. The nachos, which are packed, are more than enough for 3 to split. Whats really great about the place is the topping bar to the left of the counter. It has great pico de gallo, fresh cilantro, onions, salsas (the medium salsa is the best!), and more. The steaks alright, Tortas always a favorite and its their special, Steak platter is really good but a bit overpriced. Its right next door to the Washingtonian gas station. Its kind of a strange place to have a food place but it works. They take awhile to get the order ready but they seem to be getting better about it.

Delicious, well stacked soft tacos. I ordered the combo 1 which were two soft tacos, rice and beans with a drink. Tacos were made with pulled chicken which is well seasoned, put on 2-3 tortillas (which is the norm because the meat/toppings would just seep right through one tortilla). Meat portions were very generous and can easily fill you up. Rice was yellow and nicely flavored and the beans were refried. They also have a fixings area where you can get your toppings I.e. Pico de gallo, cilantro, salsa verde and red hot salsa (which is pretty hot and which I love). Chips and guacamole were good too, chips were warm and freshly made. They have a few seats inside but think about taking your food to go in case you cannot eat inside. Highly recommended little gem located in a gas station/beer store.

Having recently moved from Houston, TX we find this area very pressed for decent mexican food. This place is very similar to the fam owned spots. Yes its in a gas station, dont let it scare you. Small easy menue, busy place, very little seating, but theyre fast, cheap, burritos are huge, tacos pretty good. The people at the register speak English though accent can be thick. Cooking staff, not so much. So pay attention to your order number, it may even be called in spanish. If you go outside to the tables, make sure to check for your food. It slows everything down and can get confusing when people arent responding to get their orders. Salsa and topping next to the window

Authentic, inexpensive Mexican food -- a hidden gem! Although this place isnt as "hidden" anymore as word has gotten out. Order a single taco, youll be served two corn tortillas and a heap o meat ( your choice of pork, chicken, steak, or chorizo) that was just cooked fresh, and then you load it up at the fixins bar with delicious condiments (pico, mild salsas, spicy salsas, jalapeños, etc). All of that for $3! Order two tacos and youll be seriously stuffed! They also offer quite a few other dishes, Ive tried the quesadillas and the tostadas, both of which were equally impressive.

Dont let the location throw you off. Regardless of this place being in a gas station, if you love tacos then youll be having a very satisfying meal. Whether youre a taco novice, or an aficionado, Taco bar has everything for everyone. The taco platters are piled HIGH with meat and comes with rice and beans and also a drink! When do platters ever come with drinks anymore? But thats not the only thing about this place, they have a salsa bar that you can pile up on your tacos. If I lived in the area, Id be a frequent.

"This place is the new classic for Drive' Ins , And Dive's." This is the new Drive' In and Dive , But without the Diner. It's partitioned next to a Gas Station and Dry Cleaners. What I can tell you is , This is no ordinary Taco Bar, It's also a Wine and Beer Store that just has great Authentic Food and a Friendly Staff , But only a couple of tables . " IT'S NOT A LIQUER STORE " You gotta go to Muddy Branch for That ...

This place is the definition of a hidden gem. Its connect to a gas station so you might not expect much but its one of the best taco place in the area. Food is fresh, delicious, and fast. The tacos come with so much meat and come with two tortillas, its enough to two tacos out of one. Theres also a free salsa and topping bar (onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, etc) so you can top your tacos however you want. You cant go wrong with any of the tacos. You also gotta try the nachos!
