. . . and I am VERY PICKY!!! In fact, Ive been a mystery shopper for restaurants for years. My husband and I visited for the first time on September 18th, 2008 - our anniversary. We ordered the calamari for the first course. The calamari was fresh, hot and crispy and came within a short time (about 7 minutes). We ordered cocktails which came within three minutes. I ordered the PECAN, PEAR & BLUE CHEESE salad and my husband ordered the DOUBLE CUT VIRGINA PORK CHOP. I was amazed at the size of my salad and wrongly assumed that if they gave me that much it must be bad. It was an excellent salad with just the right amount of nuts, cheese and balsamic. I couldnt eat it all. Now my hubby (a dyed in the wool "pork-a-holic") was not expecting much when he ordered the pork chops. We have been to too many restaurants that serve thin, dried out chops. Not here - in fact, he hasnt stopped talking about those pork chops. He described them as thick and well cut, moist and well seasoned. We have revisited the restaurant several times since, and he will tell anyone within earshot about those chops! While dining the manager and the owner visited our table. Our service was prompt and the food hot. We have never experienced poor service in our 4 visits this season (Sept. - Dec.). We have visited on different days and times and the only real difference has been that once we received a little less calamari than the other times - probably because we were closing the place down that time. The interior and the restrooms are clean. The overall environment and design is cozy and not over done - a nice place for a business lunch or to stop by after work when you dont feel like cooking dinner. This isnt a big time NYC style restaurant, but it is a sorely needed respite in this corner of Prince Georges County suburbia. We will return with our friends, family and acquaintances.

Service is slow and the food is inconsistent. The first time I went I purchased a seared ahi tuna salad (rare) with dressing on the side. It was delicious. I shared it with some friends who were with me and they loved it too. Went back with two friends we all ordered that same thing-- seared ahi tuna salad (rare) with dressing on the side. When the order came out (a lot later-service was so slow) two of the tunas were very well-done and the salad was drenched in dressing. One was perfect, as ordered. When we told the waitress that the tuna was overcooked, and we asked for the dressing on the side, she looked at us and said "we cant do dressing on the side, its pre-mixed with the salad". So we show her the one salad that was prepared properly (never mind that fact that her response makes no sense, you just dont add dressing when mixing the salad). So she then takes away the two salads and about 30 minutes later, she brings out the corrected order. We had already waited 30 minutes to get the wrong order. So that was an hour wait to get a salad. Thats just not reasonable. There was no apology and no explanation, just a very long wait. The restaurant was a little busy, but not that packed to justify taking that long to make a salad. Mistakes happen, so I decided to give it a third try. Same order-and you guessed it, tuna was burned (not even close to rare) and the salad was drenched in dressing with even more extra dressing in the side. For the price, I cant justify going back. The servers have never been rude but they rarely get my order right and the service is SLOW. Very slow.

The restaurant staff was unprofessional. Five minutes prior to my arrival, the event manager called to notify me of a fight being shown on cable television. I was told that I would be charged an additional fee if it continued to show during my event. I expressed to the manager that I would not pay any additional fees and did not want the fight shown; however, it was still on upon arrival. Additionally, the restaurant was full of patrons that were being seated and served. The DJ and guests cleared out the restaurant. The owner and the event manager did not provide any assistance. I paid for food to accommodate 40 people, but there was only enough to serve half. The food quality was terrible! The crab dip was more like soup with very little crab. There were a lot of problems with the menu items and so many other concerns that it is too much to put in writing. It is very disappointing that I encountered so many unnecessary issues; especially since I reserved the rental space months in advance. I chose OTI because of a wonderful event I attended about two years ago. I truly believe that management has become so money-driven they no longer care about quality customer service. I called the manager the next morning to express my concerns; I was told that she would speak with the owner and get back to me about a possible reimbursement. I have yet to hear back from anyone. At this point, I am counting it as a lost. However, I do not wish this experience on anyone. I urge anyone thinking about renting this place to look elsewhere.

Management is awful! On 16 June 2017, my experience with the manager was a total turn off so much so that I will never go back. The manager on duty on this night was unprofessional in appearance and attitude!! My sister was celebrating her upcoming birthday with a few friends and family and ended up being escorted out of the establishment AFTER her table paid a very hefty bill!!! My sister chose this establishment because a good friend sings in the band! Well despite having a BAND there is supposedly a NO dancing policy!! Go figure!! There is no signage with this information in the restaurant anywhere!!! First problem! Second problem how can u have an amazing band playing and tell people they cant dance!!! I was told that its because they dont have a permit for that!! Sooo why I have a permit for a band but not for dancing... Again poor management!! So because my sister stood next to me at the bar and did a quick two step she was asked to leave when she and her guest spent a lot of money there!!! Not to mention the ladies room had more urine on the seat and floor than in the toilet!! So I was told to use the mens restroom which smelled like marijuana!! On top of that water was leaking from the HVAC vent above the bar and a puddle formed where someone couldve been injured!!! Awful awful awful!! I like to support black owned businesses but not when they dont value me!! WONT BE BACK!

I had the opportunity to visit Olde Town Inn this afternoon for brunch. I must say I was excited about visiting your establishment as the reviews on Yelp and Google were favorable and the website was professional and appealing. When I arrived my companion and I were seated and we ordered, beverages first. My companion ordered a coffee and the waitress arrived with the coffee and cream but neglected to bring the sugar. We placed our food order shortly after arriving and proceeded to wait more than 30 minutes for our food to arrive. The waitress seemed to have forgotten us, sitting near the door to the patio while she proceeded to wait on the tables on the patio. From our vantage point near the door we could see plates of food waiting at the pass for waitresses to bring them to other tables. About 30 mins later, a gentleman finally brought us our food. Once the food arrived we enjoyed the French toast and an egg white omelet. Our waitress never reappeared to check on us or ask if we wanted a refill on the coffee or drinks. The only time she came back to ask if we wanted the check. We asked for the check, paid and left. My companion and I both left the restaurant feeling unsatisfied by the sub par service
