Horrible experience! I usually do not write a review, but I was so annoyed with the level of customer service at this place. If I could rate no stars, I would have. The steak was burnt. My husband s fajita was given last and received few pieces of steak. When I asked why he received so little, the waitress said that is how the cook measures it. On his plate, there were pieces of chicken, so it seemed that they just took off stuff from another plate. Also, my husband asked for extra salsa for the chips, the waitress said no. He was sick and did not want to spread his germ with the rest of our party. Even if he was not sick, she should not have said no. We order drinks and some of us did not even get them. We had two waitresses and still terrible service. They tried to charge my cousin for flat soda. When this was address with the waitress, she replied "everyone is drinking the soda." She was arguing with my cousin. I did not see any manager around.

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for the past 4 years and I must say, today was one of the worst experiences Ive ever had. The new waitresses ( all of the old and GREAT ones are gone) dont understand what customer service is. I asked if they had a canned soda in which she answered yes and she still brought me a regular cup of warm soda with no ice. We ordered two dishes of the same thing which took a good 45 minutes to come out. The food tasted fine, we didnt have any issues with that. The waitress avoided us until after we had received the food. She didnt check in on us but twice through the evening. I am so disappointed. I hope management does something to fix all of these complaints. This place was once upon a time AMAZING!

Your typical (for DC anyway) Salvadorean Tex-Mex food joint, with an enthusiastic staff that might make up for shortcomings elsewhere. We stopped in for a cocktail after an errand at the Post Office next door. Virtually no one was there, so we sat at the bar and ordered mojitos and nachos (the former on special for the month). Nachos werent bad, heavily loaded with tons of beans. Mojitos were strong even though it used a ore made sour mix. Staff was chatty and happy to help. Not sure Id go again given there are more restaurants around that do the same thing but better.

I came to eat here on sunday August 20 at 7pm with mt family. We came in and they only had 3 tables. Obviously, it was a slow night. However, we waited for our food for about an hour. The rice to our fajitas were cold and hard, we asked the waitress to Exchange it to a more fresh rice. The waitress brought back the same cold rice. We decided not to eat the rice and beans. Service here is bad, waitress never came to check on our table only when we asked for her to return the rice and beans. I would suggest they work on their service. I will not return.

Just had the worst restaurant dining experience! We werent greeted at the door until after 15 mins of standing at the entrance! No napkins at the table had to request them! Sprite was the only soda! Didnt get chips and sala but everyone else did...apparently there werent any when we arrived! Took about an hour for us to get our food! Our plates were missing Guacamole when pointed out they informed us it had run out! Pico de gallo had 5 little pieces of tomato! They got one the kids order wrong twice! Oh and to top it off everything is over priced!

I JUST HAD THE WORST EXPERIENCE. I went with my family to try to eat at this restaurant and the waitress came and gave us the menu and never came back. After a few minutes hoping someone would make eye contact to make sure they had not forgotten us but they never did. Did not even brought the basket of chips they usually give you to start. The waitress did not make any effort to serve us. Finally we decided to leave, walked in front of a waitress but she did ignored the fact that we were walking out.

Food was decent - but Ill never come here again. The meal was good, but afterwards, I spotted a small mouse running across the floor, along the wall. Now, it wasnt a rat, which would be worse, but thats still pretty bad. Overall, I just cant recommend anyone come here, due to what I saw. It seemed like a clean restaurant, and I liked the way the restaurant looked inside, but the mouse tells a different story.

This is my favorite Mexican (and also Salvadoran) dining experience in Silver Spring. There is a buffet at lunch and very reasonable lunch menu, and dinner is very fine. I recommend the pollo asada, my favorite. The vegetarian dinner combo is really good, as are the enchilada plates. Sometimes the band is a bit loud, but all in all, its a wonderful dining experience and really good value for the $$$.

We were looking for a new place to eat since we just moved to the area. One word...amazing. The drinks are nice and strong, the food is delicious and the shrimp...I could write a love song about the shrimp. Definitely check this place out if you want a Spanish food fix in silver spring.

Very bad attention for the customers, my food arrived too late, I asked for a mixed pelliscada and it was cold and I did not bring everything that said cold part, I ordered a corn tamal and they never brought it to me. To charge and tip and if you are very smart. Very bad experience.

Just went to the brand new location on Georgia Avenue (Guess that would be called El Aguila II)...OMG..the BEST mojitos Ive had since Miami. The even have the sugar cane included in each round. I love the outside seating area. This place is sure to get busy this summer.

Very bad service server dont even know nothing about the food, they dont have a car seat holder for babies and the maneger said the high chair is too use upside and down, the upside was so dirty. Warning is there that is unsafe to is upside .

the steak is mediocre for DMV standards. however, like a good hoe, one can sit at a bar and never be ask to get a drink. Thus, is a place to connect with the community. one doesnt have to come here to eat or drink. Is my new church :-D

For the Georgia ave location, it is pure excellence! Ive never eaten at the restaurant, only carryout. The food is soo good, it should be criminal! I try not to eat there often purely just to avoid being addicted. The food is incridible

For the same money im going to cava grill next time, good thing all i had was a appetizer. They are going downhill, look the other way or someone please save them from going down under!! Starts in the kitchen and no host here today.
