Lets see...where to start...well, they seated us quickly on a Friday evening at 6pm...so that gives it one star. This is a BURGER restaurant. That is almost the only thing on the menu. They have many different offerings of burgers...some even made out of other things besides beef...but hey, this is their thing...it is in their name... ("b" is for burger)...so, i ordered an American cheeseburger. If there is one thing to get right if you make burgers,,,and especially if that is just about all you make (and the burger costs more than 8 dollars in a sit down table service restaurant - it was actually a lot more but i am not remembering the exact price)....you HAVE to get the temperature right. And, by this I do not mean to make it complicated...they offer "pink" and "no pink"....i wanted pink. What i got was obviously well done...not anywhere in the universe of pink. If you are someone who likes burgers...they just HAVE to get this right if it is going to be a good experience. Well, the waiter never returned to check on us...so, no real opportunity to send it back...and i am not one to send food back, though i should have. Also, i special ordered mind...on their extensive burger menu, they didnt have a simple cheeseburger, so that is what i ordered...and when asked if i "Only" wanted cheese, i said, "no, id like lettuce, tomato, mustard and ketchup." Well, it also came with a white spread like a mayo of some sort....which i personally find disgusting on a hamburger...youd think the waiter would ask in a situation where someone is "special" ordering and there is discussion of the specifics of what comes on it...youd think hed ask about the mayo. I just couldnt believe a simple cheeseburger with some lettuce tomato and onion, could be so bad in a burger specialty restaurant. Very unimpressed with the food AND the service. I think it is their location and bar that keep them in business.

My husband has been craving burgers for weeks. Although he works right above Plan B, he was hesitate to try it out. "Looks like a formal sit down, what if it takes long?" "I dont want to eat a burger all by myself". Being da bomb wife that I am, I decided to wait for a table and had him join me for lunch. 25 mins wait, we were finally seated. I was surprised at how popular Plan B Burgers was for the local office workers - maybe all the government workers have an hr+ long lunch break? Service definitely didnt speed things up. It took forever for our server to take our order, let alone for the food to arrive. The whole meal took us almost 2 hrs including the wait time. It would had been worth it if the burgers were awesome... But they didnt even come close. My tuna burger - the tuna steak was bland and ice cold. Our server did warn me that the tuna steak would be rare but I wasnt expecting it to come straight from the freezer. There were still ice particles in the center. The wasabi mayo - 90% mayo, 10% wasabi. The avocado slices were browning. Thank goodness for the pretzel bun upgrade - Chewy and a little sweet - I could see it going well with any of the burger on the menu. My husbands philly cheese burger was much more flavorful. Caramelized onion with sautéed mushrooms - always a winning combo. The disco fries however was nothing close to what was described. My husband thought it would be similar to a poutine but it was really just regular fries drenched in watered down cheese sauce. Overall - no more burger craving for my husband (for now). Food was meh. Service wars bare minimum (took our order and gave us the check). The burgers were pretty pricey for what they were worth. I would save my money and go down the street to Central Michel for the 3 course lunch special (the price would had been similar).

My Co-workers and i came here for dinner. They are a good selection of beers and wines. It was a great environment. Not too loud and not too quiet. The bar was definitely hopping. I ordered the mushroom burger and I actually did not love it. I actually did not like it either. Perhaps it is the types of mushrooms they had on it, or the way they sautéed it. I definitely have had better. I also had it "in the grass" and I was sad to have it come and be sitting on cut iceberg lettuce. I was hoping it would have been on a bed of salad greens. The ice berg lettuce made it hard to cut up and eat. There were other burgers that people enjoyed, including the Baja with avocado and jalapeños and they phili cheesesteak one. I did enjoy that we got fries or tatar tots or salad with our burger. I feel like it made it more of a value. I hate going to other burger joints and you pay $14 for a burger without a side. The burgers ranged from $10-16 We also got a "pickle" with our burger. My friend told me this is how real jewish pickles are and she loved it, but it tasted more like a cucumber with some vinegar. Not my favorite. The other thing was that we saw a mouse running around constantly in the back room and that was disturbing. Someone said they would take care of it, but we kept seeing it and it made us loose our appetite a little bit. I am not sure I would come back given the mouse mostly, but well see.

Had been here before and loved it. The service was slow but they were very friendly and accommodating. They messed up my partners food, but were really quick to fix to and gave him a beer on the house. The food was delicious as well!! The second time we went, unfortunately, was not so good. We were told thered be a 20 minute wait for a table. This turned in to an hour and 40 minute wait! The hostess was kind and kept checking in with us every ten minutes or so to say "it shouldnt be much longer." Well it was obviously an hour and 20 minutes longer than we wanted to wait, and we werent offered a drink or anything in the meantime. To add insult to injury, when we finally got seated, they put us in the bar area, where you dont even need to check in with the hostess first. Wtf. It was loud and there was only one server for the whole bar area, so service was slow yet again. After we ordered our food, we never saw our server again. She was running around to other tables but never checked in or refilled our water. After a ridiculously long wait, we were starved, so we ordered some apps, which just came out at the same time as the entrees. I could keep going with things that made this the worst restaurant experience of my life, but I suppose this all gets the point across. Bottom line: the food is amazing. So so tasty and creative and delicious! But the service makes it not worth a go.

Oh how I want to like you so bad. My partner and I have been here 6 or 7 times in the past 5 months. First with the positives. They have a super Celiac friendly menu. Dedicated fryer is magic in the world of Celiac disease and gluten intolerance. The burgers themselves are top notch. My personal favorite is the Bleu Cheese with a squealer (half beef/half pork) patty. They also have a dessert called the b-cup which Ill let the menu describe, "Flourless double chocolate cake filled with vanilla mousse, dipped in chocolate ganache." Now for the negatives. They have two kinds of french fries, fancy fries and hand cut steak fries. The fancy fries are freezer fries and on more than one occasion they have been cold and overcooked. I love me some hand cut fries but the steak fries here are more like a quarter of a baked potato, not something I want as a side to my burger. Are hand cut, normal sized fries too much to ask for? Now for the biggest draw back. The service. They are nice, but soooo sloooowwww. Its not uncommon for my partner and I to be in the restaurant for two hours. If you need a great gluten free burger, come here. But be prepared to get slow service and subpar fries. If you dont Celiac or a gluten intolerance, there are far better places to go.
