Overall: Not bad but not very good, and certainly not worth what theyre charging. Mediocre service, nice ambiance, overpriced food and drinks. Drag bingo was fun, though! Drinks: My cocktail was fine -- not bad, not noteworthy, but certainly not worth the $11. Came out within a reasonable amount time. My gfs drink was tasty. Eclectic beer list, tried a few good ones I hadnt seen before and the bartender was knowledgeable. Beers were reasonably priced for craft brews. Food: Nothing to write home about, and my dish came out fifteen minutes before my gfs -- it was clear that is was the runners fault but the waiter wasnt quick to fix the error, either. Theyre portioned for small plates, so expect to order 2-3 if youre there for a full meal. If I were there for drinks with friends and wanted something to nosh on, it might be a reasonable place--if priced accordingly. Service: Food runner didnt know which table was which, and there was only one waiter for the whole place. Waiter was nice and helpful once you caught his attention. Ambiance: fun patio out front, and nice intimate space inside.

Very cute atmosphere and the staff was very nice, though the bartender didnt know anything about the beer she was serving (other than the name) and was definitely giving incorrect answers to the patrons next to us about what a hefeweizen is like. Other than that, and the fact that their prices are a bit too high for a neighborhood bar, the drinks were good, and the food was pretty decent (though trying a little too hard to be fancy though, IMO). Id go there a lot more often if their prices were lower (seriously, just make the food less fancy and the drinks a bit cheaper, or at least do an HH).

Cozy and welcoming, food exceeded my expectations and snacks are particularly good. Theyve responded to the small size of their space and the growing nature of their clientele through specialization, with a whiskey focused spirit list, great beers on tap, and a limited but respectable set of wines by the glass. Great addition to the neighborhood.

I havent tried the food, so this review is for drinks only. Lovely patio, good beer selection, and excellent cocktails. I think $10 is really decent for a good cocktail in DC, and these fit the bill. The service is great too. Much better than your average neighborhood bar.

The food is unique and not every dish leaves an indelible impression however the atmosphere is lively and food is good at a minimum. The drinks are tasty although I wish they would not use a measuring cup.
