I am in utter shock at how rude the woman at the counter was. I bought a rather expensive bottle of wine, and have been a steadfast customer for years. Ive never had any problem with her husband. He has been most helpful and gives good advice on wines. The son is surly and quite rude as well. I decided to play Powerball, having never played it, I asked her what to do. She told me to call the company or take materials home and read them! I then said, I just want to get one randomized ticket, is this possible? She replied, "I dont see your wallet open" Flabbergasted, and having just dropped a chunk of change on a nice pinot, I said um, one ticket please. She grabbed the dollar and shoved the ticket in my face. I then said, well, when are the drawings? She said angrily, "dont ask me, youre the one playing!" I tried to diffuse the situation by saying ok, well, Ill just check the site and hey, if I win, well go to Hawaii! She excitedly replied, "I dont need you! I have a husband! I have a son! I have money!" I have lived in this neighborhood for 40 years. I WAS their loyal customer, and I dont know what has gotten into this woman but I will never, ever go back again. I might understand if I just came in there to buy a ticket and held up the whole line or something, but there was no one in there and I had just given her quite a good bit of business, again. This is uncalled for and disgusting. Im going to Gillys from now on, I dont care if they charge more.

I just came back from this store and still in shock how crazy these people are. It seems that they think they are still in china, and by being rude at the customers is a way for them to show off their “superiority” of some kind. First of all this place gets never cleaned, so be prepped to stop breathing for a while u in there, because it stinks as hell. The owner will look at you as if you are an enemy , and will invent any reason to kick you out his store with “pride” …..WTF?

These people are so rude and nasty! The lady working there IDd me, I paid and she forgot to give me back my ID. When I called to ask if they had it some disgusting man began yelling at me denied he had it and hung up. DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY AT THIS DUMP!

I only ever go to this place because it is convenient. My roommate and I nicknamed it the warm beer store long ago. I have never purchased a beer that was cold enough to enjoy after leaving the store. Only stop in if you love warm beer.

Selection isnt that great, and the beer is rarely cold. You get the pleasure of having the owners stare at you the entire time youre in the store, as if youre a shoplifter. Go elsewhere.

I read the reviews and had to see for myself. The owner couldnt have been nicer. She engaged me in pleasant small talk while ringing me up. I was hoping for a funny ghetto mess. LOL

Bought 2 cases in the week of December 12-17 2011 of WARSTEINER beer. Both had price labels in same place ... on the BEST BEFORE date, the date was 19. OCT. 11. no more comments.

Wine selection is poor. Bottles are dusty. The owners and people behind the counter are rude. This place should close down.
