Ki No Spoon is a friendly casual Taiwanese restaurant located in the Wintergreen plaza. You see tons of these types of places in Taiwan and this one is farily typical. Were really quite lucky to have so many Taiwanese restaurants in this area. Compared to the other two taiwanese restaurants nearby (Jumbo Jumbo and Super bowl), this one focuses on Japanese food such as beef donburi, chicken curry and a variety of ramen. They also have japanese style deserts such as shaved milk ice, mango pancakes and tea cakes, as well as bubble tea. What to eat here? If you are hungry, the ramen or rice bowls are quite filling, but still leaves room for desert. If you are just slightly pecking, the fried chinese bread with condensed milk or the mango pancake is quite good. If its hot out, tried the shaved ice with maybe a topping that you havent tried before. Seating is quite spacious here and they let you linger as long as you like.

I thought the ramen was pretty good, but it seemed a little amateurish compared to some of the other ramen places Ive been to in the area. Dishes werent presented with the usual tidy and artistic layout one often finds in ramen, and something about the taste of the actual noodles struck me as a bit "homemade". When I went, the restaurant seemed like it was staffed solely by teenage girls, all of whom had little interest in doing their job. All that said, it was still a pretty decent bowl of ramen, and some of the appetizers werent bad either. Worth dropping by, but not highly recommended.

1. Service - Quick, friendly, & attentive. 2. Taste of food and quality of food - Good ramen place in MD. Portion size was just enough & not too salty. I recommend the Tonkatsu broth with thick noodles. 3. Ambiance/decor - Cozy & quiet. 4. Cleanliness - Looked & felt clean throughout.

We loved it! The young man at the counter was so helpful and walked us through their entire menu. We tried the Beef Donburri and the Volcano Ramen and both ordered milk teas. Everything was excellent! Will definitely stop by again next time we are in Rockville.

Small casual ramen and bubble tea restaurant that could use some work in decor and cleaning, but the food makes up for it. The volcano ramen is delicious and honestly better than a lot of ramen that charges $3-4 more.

Decent ramen place. Enjoyed the pork. Good flavor. I never like when the kitchen workers are in the dining room then go make your food.

Awesome noodles and shaved ice, ice is a bit pricey for the serving amount, but they do use milk ice, so its finer than others around
