My girlfriend and I have been to this location more than a dozen times since we found it through UrbanSpoon. We love the food and never thought of the staff as outwardly rude, but our experience last night was certainly frustrating. We waited patiently in line while the employee was chatting with someone standing at the counter. (not a customer?) After several minutes without even being acknowledged, we decided to leave because we had already purchased movie tickets and didnt have time to wait for them to finish their conversation so we could order. We always order ¼ white chicken with fries and a salad. Its just enough food for us and a nice alternative to the other fast food places in the area. Im sure we will return one day, but we wont be going to the Crisp & Juicy on Rockville Pike any time soon.

Ive had chicken at hundreds of places and this is by far the best! Its so flavorful, not too tough, cooked the perfect amount of time, and its got a good balance of that smoky charcoal type flavor from being cooked freshly near the flames. You can see the chicken being cooked and taken off the skewer so you know its fresh. The sauces are just the cherry on top! Their yucca is pretty decent too. I wish their meals were a little cheaper though! If you like chicken, go to this place!

I got terribly sick off the food! Had food poisoning 1 hour after eating the chicken and was sick for an entire week. It seems like they are constantly short-staffed and always hiring so establishment must not be managed or run well. After coming back to work, I come to find out that several of my other co workers have previously gotten sick off the same Rockville location. I would not recommend anyone to go there unless you have a death wish.

I love Peruvian chicken and the chicken here was good, but the wait was really long compared to places like Sardis and Picca where I usually go. Also they did not give out any green sauce so I dont know if they had it or they just dont carry it, but there was no way of knowing because their high counter top restricts patrons from seeing the food/preparation which is not typical of this type of retuarant.

Number one this place smells like smoke cigarette smoke this food is nasty so my family there why why didnt I get my kids and like it and the chicken taste like was a one-week-old the friend for her nasty not catch up no sauce the sauce is not good its not authentic Peruvian please this is the worst Crisp & Juicy in the metropolitan area. I dont recommend this place to nobody

Crisp & Juicy has some of the tastiest rotisserie chicken Ive had in quite some time. The mashed potatoes are delicious as well. Portions are decently large for the price, and a 1/4 chicken platter will leave you quite full. Not sure how the other locations compare to this one, but the chicken here is incredibly juicy and flavorful, living up to the restaurants name.

If you go during the day then you get crisp and juicy chicken. If you go in the evening then you get crisp/chewy and dry/juicy chicken. No consistency after 6 pm. The staff is rude but thats whatever at a place like this. Other menu items are pretty good. Chicken sandwich, plantain, fried rice. The mashed potatoes are an exact replica of KFC.

You can literally SMELL the Chicken from Rockville Pike(355)!!! They must have a fan blowing it out somewhere. Went there once.....just a bunch of Fried Foods...didnt look very Healthy at all. The Place looks rundown to say the least with very dim lighting. Overall not very appealing. Go to Taco Bell right across the street! Not Recommended.

This place blows. The chicken was not crisp at all and quite mushy. The dark meat was *very* fatty. The rice was cheap and had no flavor. And for what you get, this place was expensive. I also didnt like the way the menu on the wall looked. It is glossy and some of the writing is orange, making it almost impossible to read.

Crisp and Juicy or more like Salty and Soggy? Nothing is crisp but everything is salty. Youll be so thirsty youll thinking you were left stranded on a desert island for 20 years. Beverage options are abysmal. With several stores in the chain, they really should spend some money to upgrade the experience.

I have eaten at this place for almost 20 years. The BEST chicken ever. And the sauces? Dont get me started! Delicious! The yucca is well cooked, the rice and beans are perfectly seasoned and the chicken is OUTstanding. Did I mention the chicken? Its amazing, and has been since 1995.

Really great quality of chicken, good value. Soft chicken with fantastic sauces, I like the mild yellow sauce. Great quantity in the sides. I get take out, so minimal contact with the customer service, but the woman at the counter was sweet and efficient.

Terrific food, but very inconsistent customer service. Pick up orders are frequently put on the backburner and take longer than alleged. Asking for extra sauce can also be a chore. However, the food is so good it really overcomes most of these issues.

Delicious food and hot sauce with quick and great service! The portions are pretty large and filling. The prices are fair and there is something on the menu for everyone. If you have dogs, theyll love the bones after youre done.

Consistently superb Peruvian style chicken. You can sit and eat it here, but mostly this is for take out. The chicken is succulent, the sides are tasty, the service friendly and the prices extremely reasonable.

The food is great however the staff is very unfriendly there. Furthermore, the bathrooms are very dirty. Seems like they know they have good food so they treat the customers like crap.

Love their chicken and fried plantians, the fried yuca (casava) could use more garlic for a tangy taste or a garlic and oil based dipping sauce - just like home to top it off.

One of the best charbroiled chickens in the area. I like their chorizo sandwich too. Their sauces seem to by mayo based and are good. The place is clean. The service is okay.

The chicken skin is not crispy at all, and a bit salty. They give you one small sauce, and will charge 48cent for additional sauce. Seriously? Charge extra for the sauce?

This is truly some of the best chicken that I have had in a long time. Reminds me of my time in Orlando and Miami. Prices are great and service excellent!!
