It should be criminal to sell chicken this good. This chain is legendary and growing rapidly in the US for good reason. This is Korean bar food, so ordering it is rather simple. You can get wings, tenders, legs or some combo of this, but trust, just get the wings. They come in two sauces, soy garlic and spicy. You can also get half and half, which could mean a mixture of both on the whole order or half one way and half the other... Ive never had it consistent, but I always get it that way. Warning: The hot can be mouth numbing. This wont deter you from eating it, but just an FYI The chicken is fried in some special way that renders the skin to an glass shattering like texture, covered in these amazing sauces. Be prepared that once you start eating youre going to find it nearly impossible to stop. You can pick from a small selection of sides with your order (go for the kimchi coleslaw, all the other stuff is mostly standard). There are other things on the menu, but you didnt come here for that. Prices are beyond reasonable, in line with other national chain wing joints. The pieces are much bigger though. Service here (and at most others) can be really hit or miss. Weve called in orders 30 minutes prior, and still had to wait another 30 minutes on arrival. But no worries, theres a full bar with decent affordable beer and cocktails, with tons of TVs showing K-pop and sports. Dont worry, heaven thats been deep fried and sauced is on its way to you shortly.

My friends and I visited this restaurant last night and could not be more offended. The chicken was amazing as always, but the customer service we received was atrocious! Our waiter was rude and inconsiderate. One of my friends ordered the popcorn chicken "dish" ($10) and got about 12 pieces of pebble-sized, burnt pieces of breading that might have had some chicken in them at some point. His food came with a small cup of sauce that was about 1/3 the size of the entire meal. We were honestly shocked that it was so small and not AT ALL what was pictured on the menu. When he asked the waiter about it, too nicely in my opinion, the waiter just told us that: "yeah, the popcorn chicken is pretty bad. I would get the chicken myself." When we asked to get something else instead and pointed out the discrepancy with the menu, he said: "do you always look at pictures and think thats real. like if you saw a big mac on the side of a truck you would think thats life-size?" On top of that rude display, he also messed up my other friends order. We will not be returning here and will tell others to actively avoid this place until their service is corrected. It really is a shame because the food (most of it) is very delicious.

Soy Garlic Wings (20) $19 (4/5 NOMs) Bring on the wing goodness. We were so excited to see our favorite chicken place open new location near by. Pretty good wings, just as crispy as other locations, but not as flavorful. It was missing the amazing soy garlic soy sauce. Hopefully in few more month they will get it closer to quality as other locations. Bulgogi $16 (4/5 NOMs) We are all gogi for some. Starting off with some Korean grilled marinated beef. That is one big entre dish, so big that even three of us had trouble finishing it. I like that it wasnt over marinated, had I could still enjoy the beef flavor with onions, mushrooms and more veggies things. Good dish o come back for, but in the end you better get some wings.

Got the chicken strips, half spicy and half soy/garlic. The taste was solid but a little unremarkable. If you are craving fried chicken, definitely stop by as its much better here than at big chains. The side dish of picked radish (I think?) is excellent, especially if youre having the spicy sauce, which is honestly and truly spicy; not for the faint of tongue. We also had an order of bao... slightly more disappointing. Its not that it tasted bad, just a little too sweet and a little stale. The buns themselves had the texture as if they had been heated in the microwave. Just dont go in expecting authentic bao and youll be fine. All in all Im glad I tried the place, but I wouldnt make a special trip to come back.

The food at this place is decent, but the service is awful. Their website advertises that they close at 10pm, and we planned to go on a Friday night around 9. We arrived at the restaurant a few minutes before 9, only to be told that they close the kitchen at 9 and they would not seat us. When we pointed out that the restaurant closes t 10, they told us they close the kitchen at 9 so they can leave by 10. It is unclear if this is official policy or if it was just some employees that wanted to get out early. So if you plan to go here, be advised that they close at 9, not 10, and be prepared to endure apathetic service.

My wife and I go here on a regular basis. If you love eating wings and love the ambiance of a Korean Restaurant then this is the place to go. I have to admit Ive never tried out any of the food except the wings and the Tokoyaki (both of which are amazing). When I want something like that well look for a different place to go, but when were in the mood for wings, this is the place to go. We were also very excited when they opened one up in Germantown, but we werent as impressed. The ambiance was too open like a McDonalds giving the feel of an American Restaurant, plus the food wasnt prepared as well.

Ate lunch here... kind of. After waiting a long time for our food, mine didnt come out. It took us grabbing the hostess to get anyones attention. Five minutes later the waitress finally came over to see what we wanted. It took another ten minutes for her to come back to say my food would be out in another ten minutes or so. Everyone else was done, so I cancelled the order. No appolgy, just shrug followed by her walking away. So my lunch consisted of finishing up my coworkers scraps.

Chaîne de restaurant coréenne aussi implanté aux USA. Spécialisée dans le poulet frit, elle permet de découvrir les spécialités sud-coréennes, même si c’est fortement « américanisé » : entendez que ce n’est pas très pimenté.

When I first went to a BonChon, I was a little skeptical. My friend hyped it up and I thought "How good could this possibly be?" And then I took a bite and started hyping it up to other people just as much as my friend. The only problem I have is that the chicken is inconsistent. Ive gotten amazing chicken and okay chicken at the same location and across different locations. It can be hit or miss, but most of the time its really good.

Food is very good. People are very nice. Their policies leave a bit to be desired. I wanted to order a medium pack, 20pieces, half wings and half strips. Even they were both the same price I was told I couldnt, I would have to order 2 10 packs ($3 more). Made no sense. I asked why. I was told because thats the way it is. Thats not a good answer, in fact, its no answer at all. Thats not customer service. I wont be going back.
