Wow. Ive only been here once, definitely will be back, but my experience today was way past my expectations. I love authentic Mexican cuisines. It gives my taste buds a culture shock. I am so glad find one near my house! I ordered a steak burrito (looking for something heavy, just came back from the gym) with extra guacamole5 and a tres leeches dessert. The steak in the burrito was on point! Juicy and tender, combined with the delicious guac, crunchy lettuce and flavorful salsa, I finished the whole thing even though I was about to explode. The tres leches was too sweet for me but thats is just personal preference. When I do go back, I would like to try the Don Carlos, or the El trovador. The atmosphere is nice as well. They a nice tv set up with some music playing in the background, a great place to have dinner with the family. The servers were very cheerful and helpful until the moment we let. Great food, great service, relaxing atmosphere, five stars.

We had a gathering of about 12 people. The staff were pleasant and help full. Everyone had great things to say about their plate. The fried fish was excellent, the enchiladas were good and the Bistec encebollado was out of this world. Also their selection of fruit shakes was second to none. Hands down the best tres leches cake of Maryland. Overall, a small Jewel in Baltimore county. Also the Latino store is right next door with a great selection of items for everyone that loves Mexican, Honduran, Salvadorian, Colombian, Dominican, Puerto Rican and many other countries food. We will definitely be going back.

Save your money. We ordered $40 worth of food, all to be sorely disappointed. We got the house salads, which were decent except that we requested them without radish (which is one of the base ingredients). Both salads had radish, and did not have avocado (which is one of the ingredients that we were looking forward to). Also, the salad was supposed to come with "Mexican" cheese, but it was just feta. As an entree, we ordered burritos, and they tasted like absolutely nothing. No spice, no flavor, nothing. We wont be ordering again.

Just left after having the BEST lunch ever! We ordered the steak fajitas and steak burritos, warm tortillas, sides of rice, beans, guacamole, & cream. It was perfection! The staff was so pleasant & helpful, and every dish we ordered was delicious! Will definitely go back again & suggest to all of my friends. Well done El Trovador - Excellent!

Skip this place, couldnt hear myself think because the place was full of screaming kids, no one was speaking English, the food was marginal as was the service and there was a group of seriously questionable guys hanging around out front.

Subpar and overpriced. I got the burrito. The portion was fine but the meat tasted like it had burned and was scraped off of the bottom of the pot. Not spicy at all, very bland flavor.
