My husband and I had been going to this diner for about two months with no issue. Then we went yesterday and we will never go back. We took three people with us who had never been before and were excited to try it. The first issue was our waitress. Major language barrier. She couldnt understand us and we couldnt understand her. Orders were messed up and people couldnt get what they wanted because she told us they didnt have it (when they did). Then the check came and we were automatically charged 15% gratuity when we only had a party of 5. They also refused to split the ticket. We talked to the manager who told us that any order over $20 has an auto gratuity and that it had been like that for "awhile". When I mentioned that my husband and I had been there two weeks prior and had an order over $30 and were not charged gratuity she said NOTHING. She told us that there were signs (there are none). Nothing was righted at all and we paid the full ticket price plus gratuity. Im very disappointed. We had no choice but to pay for crappy service and for them not to right clear wrongs just put us totally off of this place. Save yourself the trouble and go to another diner. The food itself is hit and miss. Sometimes you get something pretty good and sometimes you get something you could order for a third of the price from Dennnys.

Wow the fat Greek owner is rude and a liar and talked right over me when I tried to talk to him about my check. I ordered prime rib medium. It came well done. So I sent it back. It came with corn and a baked potato. So I ate the corn and potato while I waited for them to bring a piece back medium . 30 minutes later it arrives with a Roach on the plate. So I refused it . when I got the check they charged me 3.95 for corn and another 3.95 for a potato. When I tried to talk to the loud mouth fat Greek about being charged for the sides after this horror of a dining experience. He starts yelling at me to pay it and leave and never come back. Then to my astonishment. He starts saying that I come here all the time and send stuff back. ( I think he said that so the police officer sitting nearby would hear). Then he starts yelling for the cop . saying he wont pay. I havent stepped foot in that place for over two years. And I never once sent anything back. In fact the meals I had there in the past where good.. Dear Mr.Fat Ass Greek ..... Dont worry you will never have my patronage again

Where can i start? The Great variety , taste and quality of the food? This place is nothing short than Excellent. I Eat at The Broadway diner about 4 days a week avg (sometimes even more). What keeps me comming back is the Exceptional Food and Pricing. The portions of food on one plate are very big, The plating is a bit upscale, considering its a diner. It is Open 24/7, and all the Host and staff on Duty are nothing But fantastic!. Id also like to point out that the establishment upkeep is Great!. From the parking lot to the tables inside. Everything is always clean and spotless. The Deserts are amazing, and have a large variety. Id Like to Name some staff that work there that deserve appreciation for there hard work. Ozoda (manager) Ms. Zagaris (Host?) Mike (waiter) Kim (waiter) Leo (Waiter) and the Bus boys too! ... But i Truly highly recommend going to this place its just awesome. And I guarantee if you ask for any of the staff i listed above to serve you, You will be nothing more than pleased and happy!

Unless you are coming SPECIFICLALY for the turky club, the fries, or both, dont bother... This place is just bad. Runs slightly expensive for a diner, food is just avg to just below average no matter how many different things I try. Terrible coffee. Service is always at least average though. All food is prepared as lazily as possible. Put your own cold butter on your cold toast (you ever tried doing that?). Or for example, the Turkey Club, a large sandwich that will easily fall apart, thats why it comes with 4 toothpicks to hold it together... Well instead of putting the mayo on it in the kitchen while building it, you get to do the train wreck surgery and try to put mayo on 4 slices on your own and the rebuild it before you eat it. Stupid, gross food, lazy kitchen, and not cheap. Whats to like? Eaten here a dozen times unfortunately because its all thats open in Baltimore after 11p

Its a diner, so expect that kind of food. I tend to stick to just a few of my favorites, so I cant comment on the entire menu. In the evenings, the staff are attentive despite being so busy, and if I had to, I really wouldnt mind waiting for my food or my check because the foods so good. My favorite is the crabcake sandwich (I just eat the crabcake and skip the roll), which is not Maryland crab...but the crabcake is so filling with huge lumps of crab meat and so nicely seasoned that I dream of it, along with the nicely prepared cole slaw. Another fav is the patty melt (greasy and so so good), and for breakfast I enjoy the big pancakes with sausage links and home fries. They must have a bakery in the basement, because their display case near the register is filled with incredible and tempting things (Ive fought the urge to try any of it, so far).

Ive eaten at the Broadway Diner on multiple occasions and that is fairly impressive considering its probably 20 miles from my house. Ill start off by saying Ive never had bad service and that is only the beginning of the praise I am about to sing this diner. Ive tried at least ten things on the menu and have never been disappointed with one thing Ive chosen. Some of the highlights would definately have to be the goulash, gumbo, and their reuben. Their portions are gigantic and the food is some of the best diner food youll have. Also do yourself a favor and induldge yourself in one of their great deserts from the case up front. Its all prepared on site and the fruit torts are amazing. Everything is great. If I could give this place a million stars I would.

Whenever I go to this dinner I always get the Jambalaya which is fantastic! Ive also ordered the Sunday Special Prime Rib and that too was fantastic! Ive had one bad experience, where the waitress gave me the wrong item that she said I ordered. I "ALWAYS" order the same breakfast.News...always!! News flash...."I CAN READ!" Never did she say "maybe I wrote it down incorrectly, please accept my apology and I will take this back and get what you asked for"... never did she say that!!! I was there with a friend and he even said to her "thats not what she ordered". I would never let one bad experience keep me from going back because I enjoy the food that I normally get. As a matter fact, Im going there today to get my Jambalaya...... as a carry-out!

One of the worst diners I have been into in Baltimore, and Ive been to plenty of them. The food took close to 30 mins to come, which would have been ok if it was good. The waitresses were great, I just wished the red haired manager would learn some restaurant edicates from them. I say this because one of us found a hair in the burger, and informed the waitress about it. I felt sorry for her because she had to come back to cover up for her managers poor behavior. We paid the bill, left a decent tip, but will never step back into that diner. Also if you dont serve alcohol after 2 AM which is fine, makesure that rule applies to all customers. Not serving alcohol after 2 am applies to all customers of Maryland
