I really enjoy this little piece of history in the middle of Overlea. Its a nice place to grab a bite and catch up with friends. The outside is a classic 1950s diner. The inside is warm and cozy. It feels almost like youre hanging out in someones kitchen. The waitresses are very kind and pleasant. The food is basic diner food but it is fresh and tasty. Ive had eggs over easy cooked perfectly, home fries crispy crunchy on the outside warm and soft and warm on the inside, egg salad like my Mom made back in the 60s, very generously stuffed chicken salad wraps and very good coffee. Its a great place to spend a pleasant hour.

The Overlea diner is a local, classic Mom and Pop diner in Overlea, MD. The place is packed on Sat and especially Sun, so get there early! They have classic diner fare, which is always tasty. Ive never had anything there that I didnt like. Their burgers and chicken sandwiches are generous and not greasy. They also have good egg dishes :)

Stopped by one sunday just to try it. Pancakes were dry and had no flavor. Eggs were over cooked and held the taste of fried meat. The greater/clerk really doesnt say much, soda was flate but my potatoe cubs were amazing. Not to be disrespectful but not a place for urban families didnt feel welcomed at all.

This is a diner to go to when youre in need of quick, reasonably priced food. Highlights include: french toast, super speedy kitchen, and kitschy atmosphere. My boyfriend and I end up here probably twice a month, which is saying something considering how much we like to try NEW places.

My friend and I saw bugs crawling around the establishment, so we went elsewhere for breakfast. Definitely, would NOT recommend eating at Overlea Diner.

I love that you can get a half order of creamed chip beef. It is really good! They also have the best tasting cup of coffee around!

Fantastic local diner. I have been coming here since I was a kid. Try the chipped beef for breakfast. You wont be disappointed!
